UNMCEDU, after deep cleaning by my dentist there’s a bit of space between the gum and the tooth, how long does it take for the gum to reattach to the tooth after deep cleaning and there will be no more space between the gum and the tooth? Thanks
Yes! I have some mild plaque behind 4 of my bottom teeth and my gum is blackening! I am so scared and so angry at myself but I can't even go to the dentist. I honestly feel so disgusting in my own body right now.
Hell yes. I didn't get gas because I had to drive home. I also didn't get injections because I didn't want to slobber on myself from a numb mouth. Imagine a thin Tortilla chip under your gums, but along all your teeth. 😢 I was holding my hands together like I was holding my Mama's hand. 😅 And this was 10 or 11 years ago!
You feel a sting when they numb you with injection. If it’s not enough numb enough by the time they start working, it will feel just as uncomfortable as the sting did except it won’t be stopping so you need to let them know that you can feel it so they can numb it more and wait longer for the pain killer to kick in. Once it kicks in good, you don’t feel pain you just feel pressure like you can feel them working away, but no pain.
My gums bleed really bad when I brush my teeth and a few of my teeth are loose my dentist just said its cause my gums are weak and to brush them i have already had 2 deep cleanings but it hasn't helped
@@DQ_Mine Thats absolutely not true. I had pretty bad periodontitis on 2 upper premolars. I had LANAP ( laser treatment ) done and my gums attached back. I went from 7 pocket to 2 after 8 months after laser treatment. I also stared using xylitol everyday. They will re-attach if you take your gum health serious after treatment. Do NOT visit a dentist for this, visit a periodonitist, they specialize in this.

Im 12 and i have loose adult teeth as in top front 4 and bottom front 4 and its not that loose but i can feel it and my bottom tooth sometimes feel weird when i bite down, am i going to lose them? my doctor said im fine but i have anxiety and i dont want to lose my adult tooth :"(

Dr. Payne suggests that you see a periodontist who can take radiographs (x-rays) of the loose teeth and measure clinically the depths of the pockets around these teeth as well as other periodontal measurements. A careful clinical and dental radiographic examination are necessary to render a diagnosis and treatment as needed.

I hope you have gone to a different dentist. I know it is expensive, but if there is a problem you want to get it when it is still manageable. I had a tumor in my jaw. They got it when I only had to lose 2 teeth and part of my jaw, and they took bone graft from my hip. In my mouth it just looked like a little bump, like I got a piece of popcorn kernel in there. Some people lose many teeth along with their jaw bone that has to be cut out and rebuilt. I was lucky. Yours doesn't sound anything like mine, I just want to make the point...if something doesn't seem right, get it checked sooner rather than later.

No they use anaesthesia to numb your mouth - it’s fine, l have done it many times.
