the love that we're all seeking is so close, closer than close, it's our very self. If this weren't true, we wouldn't know it and long for it. So he's saying the object of desire (out there) can in reality, be what you already are. In experience, what I've longed for for so many years - a loving relationship, that desire is lessening, not because I make it so, it's just happening. What's growing in that place of longing is the dawning of the realisation of what I am. In letting go, all is yours.

@swingtrade2 Oneness already is, not just in their marriage, but everyone's. The marriage is an idea of how two people (who themselves are ideas) are related. Knowing oneness doesn't mean that separation disappears, just that it's seen as an illusion.

@craigrobinson99 The problem arise when fear is packaged in another form. Like wearing sandals when you need a shoe or like wearing a huge shoe when all you need is a normal one. THe is nothing to conquer, no fear to overcome. It's just a free exression. So really is the pursuit for enlightenment a free exression or is it fear packaged in another form.. That's the question to ask. I know one thing, humanity loves fear.

Almost all spiritual practices share one tragic ideal: to beam “up” from personal relationship into “higher” fulfillment, universal love. Personal love is seen as delusion, or an exercise to build spiritual muscle, & then discard.
That sorry view undermines the value of personal love. It condemns personal lovers as inferior; weak; doomed to attachment, cluelessness, & unenlightenment. It is anti-human & unGodly. God’s love is Personal. Human beings ARE Divine. To dismiss Them IS to dismiss God.

Please, stop giving these teachings that lead people away from love, and from truly addressing the challenges of life. People need social exercise. They need to enter into life boldly and courageously, and grapple with life, and try to understand their loves ones. These methods you teach will never give someone that. People need to live in order to discover themselves and each other. If they get lost in spiritual techniques/searching, they can NEVER have that.
