"The background became the foreground and the foreground became the background"
We step in....or realize...we have already been in.
    Beautiful pointing of Gangaji.

Gangagi -3. Her love for us all is palpable ...I've loved many teachers ..she is truly a genuine enlightened spirit...I felt the same way as a child. Wonder how many others have!?

She is very honest no-body knows what really happens after death. It is a complete mystery and words can not even describe it. I personally don't have any recollection of where i was before i was born. Many people talk about past lives, but they are describing it from their intellectual minds. What really happens beyond the grave? It is totally a mystery and people tend to come up with different stories about it.

"The background became the foreground, and the foreground became the background." Normally the foreground is the world, and the background is consciousness.

enough with all the focus on my growth and my awakening and my teacher and me me mine! The path is the distance between you and a child's empty food bowl.......not a flight to my next workshop or retreat......

I can't tell the difference either, but I think that's why it's so important to search within ourselves. A teacher is someone who can remind you to stay on the path, but the path is our own and it has to be an internal inquiry. We have to trust our own journey and take everything someone else says with a grain of salt. I think a real teacher will expect this. And everyone we meet in our daily lives can teach us about ourselves. We don't have to find a guru to learn who we really are.

@zargonstaff Not everyone is blessed to experience the TRUTH that Gangaji is representing. You clearly have a different experience of Her.
Why do you assume that only your experience of Her is valid???
A good dose of Humility might steer you in the right direction.

Did you alter your original comment?
It does not seam to be negative now.
If you did I congratulate you!
Never too late to come home.
    But sooner the better. :0)

wow... this woman is lovely... I would love to be in her presence.
I still can't FUCKIN meditate and it's frustrating me. I bought Osho's book on 112 meditations and I still can't get my mind right.... sigh....

Meditation has nothing to do with self-realization. The one who meditates and the one who is frustrated that he can't meditate is the same one. Whatever you are aware of is not the truth. This includes being a good meditator and being a frustrated meditator. The aware presence, within you and before you, existing now only, is the only truth.

Men think they image humility when they gather to listen to any guru. They think humility is a GOOD thing. Pride not humility will give you no gain nor loss. We we think we should be humble, we already have lost. When we gather as a student, or a teacher, we deceive our "selves". We gather as the ONE who thinks the teacher or student in or out of existence. Don't be fooled by false humility of men who gather under a teacher ashing questions. They already know their answer. Actors.
