Guys please make sure you're always using gloves and a respirator anytime you're working with resin or epoxy. Neglecting safety precautions when working with resin is a large cause of chemical pneumonia and lung cancer it is so so important to make sure you're safe. I really wish they had used proper safety equipment and mentioned this more in this video because even if they're ok with taking those risks, many people don't understand how important that is and will unintentionally put themselves at risk
They did a voiceover for this video. Granted, they perhaps should have made that clear, but they were fine. P.S. You are right, though: regardless if advertised as VOCs/no VOCs, ALL RESINS will destroy lung (& even eye) tissue! Full face masks with respirators should be worn as long as the resin is still curing (if one is still in the same room, which should be ventilated!)
Yep ! I have been painting for several years and this year had an anaphylactic reaction ( out of the blue ) and ended up in the ED. Now my body is not happy with me painting at all ! I wished I had taken ALL the precautions you speak of. I applied base coats with 1 finger , only --it was the only way to judge exact thickness for me. The same finger...I kept finding the fingernail feeling loose......and it was !!! Should've persisted with gloves but it was easier without. BAD move !! I have an air purifier that helped enormously , until the filter was full --> at $100 + to replace , I didn't do it. I wish I'd done that also. To those parents who let their young kids paint with some acrylics , be very very vigilant. Maybe don't unless outside. Painting was my income :(

A word of advice. Make sure your resin isnt flammable before you use a torch. I now have blisters on my wrist and arm where the resin lite up really fast! Luckily i have a fire extinguisher handy cause i needed it.
1. You should pre-lax the resin in hot water prior to pouring. Do it in a container, but loosen or open the lid to make sure the excited molecules are able to escape). Self leveling. No micro bubbles. Most people use a torch, but then again, most people are merely feigning intelligence. Don't be most people. Lol Pro tip. Go to your local hardware store and purchase a laser level. Just to own one. No specific application. Furthermore. Use a hand sander, some 1000 or 1200 grit sand paper and a spray bottle of ice water to lightly mist as you gently score the surface. Finally, slowly, (take your sweet time) buff that out with some quality 3 step polish. Voila.
Hi, i like your Video, but would you please tell me what products you are using as a hardener?, as I can see your video bit confusing for me (i maybe go to too many details sorry) in your video 0:55sec you show the Bottle of master cast 1.2.1 with a white led!!!! and then video shows 0:58sec you open New bottle with RED led!!! that's how I start to ask about your hardener and what are bottles you exactly opened? thanks again
Great video! With the last one on acrylic, what size econo spacers did you use? And did you leave the spacers on once the piece was cured, or did you remove them? Thanks!
Hi..m new n get alot of good info here..but I done my resin on my canvas, the resin not coat n it move towards middle of the canvas after some time..do U know y? I think I measure the resin as described 3:1.. but still not coat nicely 😭

The resin that you young lady's are using? Can you use it in a garage with a gas water heater? Or do you still need to shut that down while using that product?
I'm pouring epoxy into a 1.25" wide channel around a picture frame, filled with different bottle caps. I want to pour epoxy into that channel about one quarter inch deep, to just cover the bottle caps around the perimeter of the frame. My concern is that since the bottle caps are hollow underneath that I might get unpleasant bubbles throughout the poor as the air escapes while it cures. Any suggestions? Is this likely to be a major problem and possibly ruin my project?

Hi I live in the uk, could you please tell me where I can buy the plexiglass system with the self adhesive frame, also what type of alcohol ink are you using, can you use acrylic ink to get the same bleed effects please. Kind regards elly
Quick question i hope you can answer.... Can i add mica powder to resin to color it when pouring into molds for resin pieces?Would love to have those huge jugs of resin, that product is not cheap. Really liked the video the 2 of you work well together.
nice! What happens/ed with the dots in the 3rd pour with the colored resins? Is this just a natural product of the resin drying? I kinda liked the "pre-dry" version better :) Thanks.
This is great! Thanks so much. How do you recommend cleaning the canvas or tiles or wood with painted acrylic with silicone pour, before sealing it with the resin. I am at that point and am not sure how to proceed. I am working on tiles right now but not sure about how to remove the silicone first. Thanks for any help
Heya !!! thank u for your video. So , when you straight pour your resin on acrylic poring painting - do you need any sealer prior to resin pour?? or we can pour resin direct after the acrylic painting is completely dried out.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO. I RECENTLY STARTED USING RESIN AND I LIKE TO RESIN THE SIDE'S BUT MY EDGES DRY FLAT AND THE RESIN SETTLES TO THE BACK OF MY PAINTINGS ON THE TAPE. THANKS FOR THE TIP ON THE CORRECT TAPE TO USE.
Hi, just saw your video - beautiful work. I have a question, whenever I do a resin pour, the edges of my canvas seem to reject the resin - I've put reinforcement on the back of the canvas, made sure the piece is leveled and I still can't get the resin to even out on the edges - any suggestions? Thanks! :)
1. use a spirit level to see if the surface is flat. 2. don't use this cheap resins the girls are using. 3. use doming resin for the topcoat. it has the right viscosity level to cover the edges and will hold surface tension. btw, are you still working with resin? it's a shame nobody else helped you out until today. hope you've found your answers already somewhere else in the meaintime.

@2.22 masking tape does the job for the edges...
