This was a fun little game! :D I kind of wanna play more, especially since I could have done MUCH better (like ACTUALLY conserving rations and the like) though I suppose that depends on if people actually dig it or not. Also kind of makes me want to do This War of Mine one of these days now due to the concept of it.
But! The Folklore video (which will be the final Folklore video) is a LENGTHY one and will require a bit more work to finish. So until then, have some more one-shot shenanigans. This was a cute game, I like the premise and it seems to have a solid charm to it.

This past month or so, I've been a bit of a wreck. Emotionally, physically, mentally, just kind of fucked. My motivation has been at an all time low, the stress has been building up, a ton of personal problems have been weighing down on me (got to love family crisises? (I have no idea how to pluralize crisis)), I know Folklore wasn't the most enjoyed thing in the world due to my work with it and I stubbornly kept going through with things. I've been a butt. And I'm sorry. I hope things will be better with this new year, but being the realist I am I can only say I'll try my best. I can't promise, because I've let myself down time and time again with promises to myself. But I will try my fucking best to get back up there and make things good again. Y'all deserve that much.
I feel like I can really only express myself like this through the descriptions/tags on videos/solo streams - so sorry if this is kinda weird to read tagged onto a rather cheery video. Not like I was fakin' anything or the like in it! I actually really enjoyed the game, it's a nice change of pace and light-hearted, not to be taken seriously and just a good time. Buuuut yeah. I think that covers things. Maybe. Probably!

Letting yourself down is one thing Cry. You and you alone can manage and deal with that.
But I'll tell you this though. You most certainly did not let us down. We watch you through good as well as bad. If anyone here expects one video a day 365 days a year and don't expect you to have your blue periods they must think you're something more than human. I think a lot of us can sometimes see you as more than human. This super friend if you will. So a quick reminder to everyone and to yourself cry. We're all human here. If you wanna do some oneshot videos or even take a break for a while then you go do you man. Do like Timmy here. Put a can on your head and a Teddy's head in your hand n just chill the fuck out playing some smash for a few days.
I can really really recommend taking some walks. Find a bench n sit the fuck down. Start appreciating doing nothing instead of always having to have something in the background or running in front of you.
Hope you feel better Cry. and no worries. You don't suck at showing how special we are to you. Uploading videos even in your blue periods is more than enough.
You're human cry. Receptors and chemicals. Every now and then you have had so much of the "Eyy I feel great" chemical released you've built up an overdose of receptors and there won't be enough "Eyyy I feel great" to satisfy your need. Then you just need some days, even weeks for your body to cut back on receptors and the amount of "Eyyy I feel great" to make you actually say out loud "eyyy I feel great" will be greatly reduced and you can go back to feeling ... yeah well great.
I hope that made sense. That was dumbing down some chemistry and biology.

Hey Cry! Take care of yourself! Take some time to do what makes you happy. It's hard to have motivation when you feel obligated or pressured about everything you're doing especially when family problems are weighing you down (I feel you, we've all been there!) Everyone gets into funks and just like any career whether you're a teacher, doctor, actor or gamer/entertainer you need to take care of yourself first before you can help anyone else out or put out your best work. It's obvious that you have a very loving/loyal fan base and if you have to take a vacation to recharge or whatever then do what you gotta do man. Something I learned in my Educational Psych class this week in 'Changing Behaviors' is we need to make realistic and reachable long term and short term goals in life otherwise we become stagnate and stagnation can often lead to depression and/or a lack of motivation. Establish your goals, get up and do the hard stuff first (makes the rest of the day so much easier) Continue to challenge yourself, setting more realistic goals after you reach your goal. Reinforce your goals by rewarding yourself for success not failure, and record your progress. Do something hard, do it every day if you can. Don't allow yourself to become complacent......This was just something that encouraged me about changing some things I'm not happy with in my life. But I think above all don't be too hard on yourself, I'm sure you're doing a lot better then you're giving yourself credit. Hope you start feeling better soon Cry!

It really sucked that Ted died right before Timmy got back. SO CLOSE!! The game is great but it can be challenging. I spent a lot of time during the summer playing it. I have difficulty controlling it, though, with keyboard & mouse or a controller, so gathering objects is a task.

Cry remember! They need water once for 4 days and soup once for 10. It might seems weird but it's optimal rationating of supplies here. Before someone leaves the shelter give him gas mask and wait at least 8-10 days (it lowers chances to became sick). Click on character to see his status.
If u send someone without having water last 4 days he has 50% lowerchance to return, but if u won't send them u are absolutelly right

Humans can last with no food for 3-4 weeks but can only last a week or less without water(depending on the body fluids released like sweat and urine)....tho soup basically has water in it already...that is what doesnt make sense lol (but i guess water with preservatives like in canned soup isn't as good as clean water to flush out toxins of the body easily)

Hell yeah man, I dig the one-offs and mini series'. Do as many as you want.
This game doesn't make sense. You can survive without pure water if you have food with a high water content (like, i don`t know, SOUP maybe). Is not that your body can only absorb liquids when they are in a glass or a bottle. If the food was something like canned meat it would make sense, but those deaths were dumb.
Also, how long did it take for them to become cannibals? half an hour? those corpses were clean to the bone just one day later.
Dude, if you feel sad and depressed and that kind of ilk, don't fret. We as friends (reference #friendsnotfans) want you to feel better, so its fine if you stopped for a while to get that motivation up and running. This was painful to watch, and I mean that is the nicest of ways. I love cry. But his first playthrough was soooooooooo bad. He wasted so much soup. He was out of water by day 3.

Hey Cry! I loved this game, and would love to see you play This War of Mine as well, I think you'd like it. It fits well with a lot of the other games you've played. Anyway, something I wanted to go ahead and say, I watch a good few youtubers, but you're one of my favorites. I always know that I can come here and just chill with an amazing community and watch a cool video. I mean almost everyone in the comments is nice as can be, trying to cheer you up. We love you, Cry! Take it easy on yourself, and don't worry too much about us. We all have personal lives and can't be watching videos 24/7 (hopefully!), so no decent person can expect you to be making perfect videos 24/7. I'm always excited to see a new video of yours posted, but when I don't, I just assume your out doing Cry bidness and that's groovy.
Cry, I suffer from Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Major Depression and sometimes that causes me to go to really dark places. Sometimes I wouldn't come back if it wasn't for my family, and sometimes your videos actually help me out a lot :). I completely, wholeheartedly understand the ability to get overwhelmed by life and need to stop or take a break from things....even if you love doing them, or at one point, loved doing them. I wish you well, and take your time. Your content is worth waiting for, you don't let any of us down.
You haven't let us down Cry. Watching your videos never fails to brighten my day. If you need some time off to deal with personal shit, that's fine. We support you!
