Notice how Republicans are screaming at Obama's unilateral immigration executive orders. How would President Trump ban muslims from immigrating to the country? How exactly do you identify them all? I believe it was done in 1979 to ban Iranians by Jimmy Carter. I am not sure of exact facts, but it was done and it held up. You are correct. The President has the power to ban any individual or group of individuals from entry into the country if he/she feels they pose a threat to America. I believe it was done in 1979 to ban Iranians by Jimmy Carter. I am not sure of exact facts, but it was done and it held up. I think banning refugees from "hot spots" is an excellent idea. we can help those people much more by setting up "safe zones" for them closer to their homes.
