It's because nearly every "lie" that the media reports on was actually true, and it was just fake news. So, people count every accusation of lying as simply more fake news. Some of the fake news is very elaborate, taking a long time to disprove. It is so bad that independent news sources have started delaying stories longer than normal to screen stories better. For instance, we still don't know exactly what happened in the mosque in Canada. The media has lied about things like that before for political reasons. The media never did talk about the second person involved in the Orlando nightclub shooting, hardly even mentioned it. But, probably like the CNN news compilation mentioned in this video, a few second blip doesn't count as "covering" it.

Trump has been president for three weeks, and Obama was president for the first three weeks of 2017. It is a common perception that Obama's last few weeks were a flurry of executive orders trying to safeguard causes important to him.
Donald Trump has already issued more executive orders in 2017 than Obama.
To compare equivalent periods, for Trump to issue fewer orders this year than Obama did in his first year, he would have to slow down to one every 12 days or more. If he somehow keeps up his current pace (which I don't expect him to do), he will have issued as many as Obama did in all of 2009... by the end of March. To put that another way, Trump's current pace is more than five times more than Obama's 2009 pace was, and about 5 times more than his 2016 pace.
Remember to vote in the 2018 midterms! If we do nothing then nothing will change. So get out, get involved, and don't take any of the atrocities this administration has done lying down!

I'll give you an example of real world liberal thinking. Should we have invaded Iraq? No but in the first Gulf war we should have continued and ousted Saddam. It was justified then. The police haven't released all the information yet. They don't even have a motive... as far as we know. They labelled it a terrorist attack immediately, though. It's just an odd story. Witnesses said that TWO MASKED people walked in. And, there are so many other things that just seem odd.

Police demand to be able to seize the assets of citizens without trial or judicial approval. A politician wants to prevent this obvious due process injustice and Trump thinks the politician is the issue. The sheer idiocy of this man is infuriating.

David Edwards it is called "civil forfeiture" and the police can seize anything from cash (their favorite) to cars, etc. before due process is realized. Many police departments use this as an important source of funding, which is very wrong in my opinion. They prey on people who are ignorant of the law and scare them into turning over assets.
David Edwards if you really want to know about the injustice of asset forfeiture, John Oliver had a great piece on his show. Find it on TH-cam. Too many police Depts. use it to augment their budgets and not necessarily for the benefit of the public. It was shameful to see how forfeiture has been abused.

I wish it would be the case. But I'm not so optimistic. Just look at how Putin is abusing power and telling lies through his own state controlled media. The US are going down the same path of disinformation, it's a form of attrition warfare where Trump is telling so many lies and doing so many absurd things he is basically paralyzing the media like a DDOS attack on a server.
Yeah, if this continues, our only hope is to oppose Trump so hard, for so long, that we physically, mentally, and emotionally exhaust him. To the point where he abandons the office, has a nervous breakdown that allows him to be removed, or he snaps and does something so heinous that his own staff have to put him down.

It's my honest opinion that Trump may turn out to be the best thing that's happened to the Democrats in years, maybe ever. He's completely ended any possibility of Hilary Clinton running for President again which allows other more popular Democrats (by that I mean popular with Independent and Moderate Republican voters as well as Democrats) to run against him in four years. With the way he's going already it should be a cake walk for whomever stands against him and I would also be willing to bet there'll be a trickle down effect on both the Senate and House of Representatives. Obama was always up against a Republican Congress that made it difficult, sometimes impossible for him to actually enact many of the measures he wanted to put in place. I suspect we might just see a Democrat Majority in both houses as well as a Democrat President in 2021.
That's why in 2018 we vote in the midterms and get most of the asshole Republicans out!

A president is not allowed to use his power to criticize public companies, and not only did Trump do so from the official POTUS account, but did so only to defend his daughter from a perceived slight.
Trump saying he would make peoples lives hell is an abuse of his power.
Trump appointing people to his cabinet which want to dismantle the agencies they head? If that's not abuse, it's at least absurdly stupid.
Finally, Trump has still not divested his businesses and that is in violation of the emoluments clause of the Constitution. Trump said he would and didn't. This means Trump will likely have conflicts of interest between the US and his finances. What makes it worse is that Trump still hasn't released his tax returns (again he said he would and didn't, another lie), which means we don't actually know where all of his business interests are.
Trump says he is doing what is best for America, but really he is doing what is best for himself and his friends...and if he ends up destroying the world (namely the environment) then oh well, at least he made a shitty omelette.
