The amount of people that could do 225 for reps was crazy, I've only seen one person do that in my 1 year of consistently going to the gym. Good stuff.
It's definitely not that common, but not exactly rare either. I see someone doing 225+ once a week or so at my local gym. The red Hoodie came down halfway. That's easy to do when your not adding tension. The hard part doesn't start until you come down to your chest to come back up

@QQQQQAQQQQQ Originally the international standard for weights was in kg, with 20 kg bars and plates. The Americans wanted to get in on weight lifting and decided they needed to convert it into lbs. The 20 kg was rounded up to 45. The Olympic bar weighs 45 lbs, and with a 45 lb plate on both sides, it equals to 135. It is a little heavier than the 20+20+20 = 60 kg. The bar + 2x45 lb plates on both sides equals 225.
as someone who can l lift 315 there was zero incentive for anyone to do it for $10. I you can lift 315 even one time, then you are doing 225 at least 12. Math was not mathing this episode
oh damn i feel weak. i probably couldn't do more than 3 or 4 reps of 225 and that's only the middle one, after a year of going to the gym. well i'll work on that after i'm done losing weight i guess. gaining strength while simultaneously doing cardio and a calorie restrictive diet is harsh, but i'm still progressing anyway.
The reward to weight ratio makes no sense. 315lbs should ge an automatic $50 or more. Otherwise it makes no sense to go for that when you can make more money doing 200lbs.
