- Embark on an incredible journey with us as we travel from Hyderabad to Madurai in car, a road trip filled with scenic landscapes, delicious food, and memorable experiences! On Day 1, we set off from Hyderabad early in the morning, aiming to reach Bengaluru by evening. Our route took us through the well-known Hyderabad-Jadcherla-Kurnool-Ananthpur-Chikballapur-Bengaluru corridor, covering around 600 kilometers in 10 hours. The drive was smooth and enjoyable, with beautiful sights throughout the journey, making it a perfect start to our Hyderabad to Madurai road trip.
We carefully planned our fuel stops, deciding to fill up in Telangana as diesel prices in Andhra Pradesh were notably higher. This strategy helped us save on fuel costs, which is a handy tip for anyone planning a similar road trip from Hyderabad to Madurai by car. The roads were in excellent condition, making the drive comfortable and allowing us to maintain a steady pace.
As we approached lunchtime, we made a pit stop at the famous Amaravathi Gardenia Andhra Style Multi Cuisine Nonveg Restaurant near the Nandi Hills Cross Road. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone traveling on this route, offering an array of delicious South Indian veg and non-veg meals. We indulged in some flavorful dishes that energized us for the remainder of our journey.
After lunch, we continued our drive towards Bengaluru, finally reaching the vibrant city in the late afternoon. We checked into the luxurious Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Road Hotel, where we were greeted with warm hospitality and a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel’s amenities were top-notch, and we enjoyed a fabulous dinner that evening. The night’s stay was comfortable and rejuvenating, setting us up perfectly for the next leg of our journey from Bengaluru to Madurai by car.
The following morning, we were treated to a lavish and fabulous breakfast at the hotel. From fresh fruits to a wide selection of traditional South Indian dishes, the spread was truly impressive and left us ready to hit the road again.
