Dans cette musique flotte une sorte de brume propice aux rêves et aux dérives douces. Un climat de paix retrouvé que l'on ressent parfois sans savoir exactement pourquoi pendant certaines nuits d'été ! cet artiste construit un discours d'intériorité, de respiration, qui sait faire place au silence 🐾
Tishchenko, as did Shostakovich, had the ability to infuse the acerbic wit in his music with a deeper intent and emotion, but in the process Tischenko more often becomes disturbingly "avant-garde", with harmonies that can be annoying and even grating at times. And too, his extended concertante passages can induce some restlessness, even while being interesting and formally cogent. Indeed, I find Tischenko's music quite interesting, having heard his 8th, 5th, and now his 7th, and wonder why I hadn't heard any of his music previously, as it has strength and personality in abundance.
