Well-written film music (Rota, Morricone, Williams, Herrmann, etc.) can just as well be serious concert music - I don't see where the division is. This is a wonderful symphony.
To me, such a comment would be a compliment because film music is, and has been for a very long time, a source of some the greatest symphonic invention!
@@sergiocampanale3882 Good point Sergio, but sadly film music is today's "classical" music. In the past "program" music was written so the listener could envisage images in their mind connected to what they heard through the music. Today's film music is written for the images the audience actually see while watching the film. So to say it's a great symphonic invention is not entirely true.

En mi modesta opinión, el Maestro Enrique Batiz es el más extraordinario director de orquesta que ha existido en México.
Parts of this could be accused of sounding like film music rather than a serious concert hall work, but it's still a well written piece.
