I love watching newer players acclimate. I'd give advice, but you got the right idea, you will do just fine. Keep surviving and maybe you'll have the pleasure of putting a slug in my back one day.
The orchids of fruit trees do not spawn fruit, the fruit trees in town around houses fences will spawn food within 100m of players. It will decay overtime the longer its on the ground it'll either go rotten or become dried.
Huge thing that helped me was playing on pvp servers, on PS4 many of the fast paced servers are titled "DEATHMATCH". DayZ is a hard game when it comes to controlling recoil and landing your shots (at least compared to games like COD, Battlefield). And unfortunately, you don't get in gun fights as often as you do in other FPS games, so it's really hard to practice your aim when you barely get a chance. These pvp servers are like 50+ people packed into one airfield with incredibly jacked up loot spawns, so you can get used to higher tier guns of all categories, and you're constantly fighting people with full military gear. Just sharing something that was useful in my experience, sorry for the essay lol. Loved the video!

Hey man you don’t have to hit combine when reloading. Just pull out the mag and if you have the ammo for it just hold “R” and he will reload on its own then just hit what ever quick key you have set for that gun and hold “R” again and he will reload the gun same thing applies if you have multiple mags like if you run out just hold “R”
The pistol isn't a u 70 it's a ij 70 but i thought it was a u at first too. And food is easy. Find fruit trees near houses. Stay in the area a few minutes and it will start spawning. Pick up everything run away and then back. It will keep spawning fruit over and over. Works with mushrooms too. But as long as youre playing offical servers on pc youll always get killed by hackers.. its a huge problem which is why i play on console.. but theres community servers with admins that do a great job of keeping hackers at bay but i prefer offical.

As a nearly 4k hours playtime DayZ Player i can reffer to that I would say :D It denpends on what you are looking for. First you should get the DZSA Launcher. There u can filter for 3pp/1pp and maps very easy and if you can see how many mods and which ones the servers have. After that you should consider what kind of playstyle you want to play. PVP, PVE, surviving as a Nomad on Vanilla or Vanilla+ server, build a strong clan with a base on modded servers, having traders where u sell stuff to buy needed stuff or do you like looting without traders? There are soo many servers with different kinds of playstyles and every server is a totally new experience. I personally prefer the nomad life on Vanilla or Vanilla+ servers, but yeah everyone got a different taste. Good modded servers: Titan, Rearmed, Sunnyvale, The Saviors, KRYPTIC . Good Vanilla/Vanilla+ servers: The Saviors, KramaKrew, Vanilla+ Vibes, ZERO NAMALSK

It’s possible to get fruit from orchards if you cut down the trees but they could be rotten after you do it . When your using the pitchfork aim higher and climb up out of their reach lyk on a vehicle or chicken coup . You Sometimes can one shot zombies with a heavy attack and they never take more then 2 hits. If you’d cut up the body you could of got a fishing rod , cut up clothing for 12 rags to make a rope and use other rags to make a face wrap to help keep sickness away . The gunshot stomach sounds 😂

@@TorakOfficial I was building a stash base in mogilivka and when I cut one of bigger trees fruit spawned not far from the logs . Heavy hits can stun lock in pvp too as you probly found out . Nothing worse then getting stun locked in a corner when your geared by a freshy 😂 another trick is to find a low fence vault , hit them and it shud take the infected a few secs to path find a vault . Once their over jump back and hit them again 🫡
Ive got a few tips First of all dayz has a lot of different loot tables for different houses those log cabins you see in town have higher chances for ammo and better items in general also since your playing vanilla chopping people up and turning there bones into a hook and guts into rope can make you a fishing rod which is really good dont eat humans unless it is an absolute need also when killing zombies holding shift with a melee will do heavy attacks which stun zombies and while backing up in stance you will block stunlocking survivors is also a think
Also in the city those corner rooms with the two doors and shelves has the same loot table as the cabins except a higher chance for food and melee weapons and later when you eventually find a military area if you find a plate carrier you need to take it even without room drop stuff it will save your life from even sniper shots to the chest also eventually you will deal with sickness you need to eat and drink really slowly when you are sick if you find tetra pills and multivitamins it will cure most diseases you will also need to switch masks and gloves or you will get sick again
Also that sporter looks like a rifle but it is a peashooter never rely on it to save you .22 is only useful when using the mk ll which is silenced by default and is easy to find ammo and mags for but of course if its the only thing you have use it also your mindset is really really good for dayz once you lose your gearfear i feel you will be a beast

Be careful loading mags with rounds already in them as depending on the magazine, sometimes the rounds that spawn inside them can be damaged already, which in turn when you go to fire, can jam your firearm right when you need it. But hey if you ever want to learn anything or more about DayZ, got a pretty chill experienced vanilla group.
This is actually false and has been addressed by the devs themselves. The quality level on ammunition has NO affect on jamming weapons. Jamming is purely based on magazine/weapon condition. The devs have explained that the damage conditions are simply placeholders for the ammo, because there has to be something written there.

@@TorakOfficial it is one of the best ways to find them. And honestly they aren't all that good. But if you get on servers where you just can't find anything in the spawn town, then that knife will become your best friend
I stick to FFP only servers, close to vanilla with maybe a loot boost depending on server pop, I avoid dayz public servers at all cost for obv hacker reasons. Other then that for me its ping, pop, n not having a ton of mods.
Sounds good, i would really like to try a community server with loot boost just to see what difference it is. Will stick to officials for some time to learn the game tho, then i´ll try some other stuff :)
You did not learned your lesson: The sporter fires rubber bullets giving you a hard time to get someone even unconcious. The IJ-70 does just a bit moore damage.... Do not drink water from bottles you did not filled. The Server question? Depends on your playstyle. Basebuilding? -> Just pick one that have a decent amount of players at your playtime (and has persistent in it's name if you go to officials)For yt it could be interesting to try different modded servers for different lives though.
Keep in mind most videos are recorded a few days even weeks before uploaded so tips might not yet be implemented to the brain xd I´ll for sure go into modded server later on, actually quite exited for that :)
The biggest mistake I see is the way you move makes you a very easy target, you must move more side to side and front to back especially when you are in the open, to avoid getting head shot.
I think it's a big mistake you shot that guy, instead saying Hi I help you, and fight a zombie. Need to be more friendly, and in your noob situation exactly. He will not kill you because you have nothing interesting for him, but a fun company. If he teamed you up,, you learn how to play. Instead you just wasted his supplies, and died of bullet from nowhere, didn't learn anything. ☺ PS 19:21 it was not face to face fight, but cowardly shot to his back while he deal with zombie lol 😀
yeah quite a few people have said there is a bunch of them out there... sucks but what can you do. I´ll be moving into more community servers in the future so hopefully i wont meet that many of them :)

Food- just fish could have crafted hooks from the bones off the suicide man, two stack of 6 rags make rope, long stick, start fishing.

You should check out "The Better Vanilla" lots of new players playing on it but it improves the vanilla experience drastically.

Follow train tracks to find small stones in order to make a knife if you can't find one
