    Hi Jill, I Made your Red Lentil Flat bread today and it came out great. I did not have the Red Lentils so I used Yellow Lentils. I am amazed at how good they taste. It was very hard to let the first side get cooked well and I ruined a couple until I caught on. Sometimes waiting almost 5 minutes before turning.

    Wow!!
    PTL I just found your channel this morning. I've already watched you make the regular lentil flatbread and now watched you make this one and when you sing the little song when you take a bite, that's exactly like something I do when I'm eating something. Very yummy! These lentils flatbread cakes are wonderful recipes!! How smart and creative.
    I've already got lentils soaking now.
    This looks like an excellent channel and I have subscribed and I do believe I'm going to do the $5 a month so that I can do the 28 day plant-based intro and I am really glad to have found you and that you're here.
    Thank you so much!.❤

      @@gayledickerson2487 They came out very well. Not quite as thin or as flavorful as I remember the commercial chips, but I'm thinking maybe using a bit more spices in them might be good. They do crisp up very nicely, are about twice as thick as the commercial corn chips, but I will be making more, I made a double batch of the 'tortilla' thickness of them today. We had them as tortillas, and I will be making ''saved-overs' into chips. They are worth doing for sure. Blessings! 1-4-2021

  • @melanienicholson2834
    @melanienicholson2834 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    a question if I may, I've tried both recipes and find that they are still creamy on the inside. Are they suppose to be that way or is the batter to thick?

    • @wholefoodplantbasedcookingshow
      @wholefoodplantbasedcookingshow  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Some other people have had the same results and I'm not completely sure why. My best quess is that maybe the batter is overblended. Sometimes it is the bean itself. Store bought beans sometimes sit on the shelf or in storage before getting to the supermarket for long periods of time so it is difficult to tell how fresh they are. That makes a difference in the soaking part. If they are old, then they absorb less water.
