- In this video titled EU4 A to Z - I Made The POOREST NATION In EU4 Into THE RICHEST I play as Maravi in Europa Universalis 4 1.35 Domination. This is the series titled A to Z where I attempt to play every* nation in EU4 in alphabetical order. Of course I had to remove some nations so the challenge doesn't get too boring. In this video I play as the nation of Maravi and I attempt to make it one of the most developed nations in the world. So, let's see if I managed to do it! I hope you guys enjoy this series. The prince called Conrad the Masovian was the guy who invited the Teutonic Order to Poland/Prussia. So fix his mistake and fully destroy the Teutonic Order, the Livonian Order and, if you don't manage it before they form Prussia, destroy Prussia too.
Mazovia sounds like Maize, so conquer grain provinces

Hawk, you could have full annexed them. Even if you can't see the province on the map you can still see the name of the province in the peace deal screen, just click on it next time.
I usually use this strategy to sometimes take Portuguese islands as Castille. Even though you can’t select them by clicking you can select them through the province menu.
As Red Hawk himself says, "pain"
Spy networks and just occupying bordering provinces should always give full view of enemy nations. It doesn’t make sense at all not to.

You could have taken Zanzibar in the first war with Kilwa. When you selected the other provinces, it went selectable. You just weren't in coring range until you took the province that connected to it I think. Gotta check the peace deal and click through it just in case o7

I normally have a lot of fun going exploration expansion on those african nations. All those gold mines allow you to colonize around 8 or more provinces at the same time. You blob pretty quickly.

If a group of nations don't have unique national ideas, I think you should play at least one of them. You should have played one of the Siberian nations like Kamchadals for example.
Actually you can take provinces you can't see if they're within coring range. You just need to select them from the province list.

I really hate it how you need an idea group for colonizing near your borders. Like, atleast let me colonize my home region. Sure, mission trees gives you colonies or +1 colonist for a limited amount of time but in this case, Maravi doesn't have those missions so you are forced to pick exploration & expansion for pretty borders.
Cool chill campaign! I would just play casually, don't limit expansion but only really "try" for a few trade regions. Maybe grab a vassal in neighboring trade regions, like Adal or Kongo in this game. Great stuff RedHawk!

I've seen the bug where a country you just royal marry breaks it immediately recently as aztec. at least I think it was a bug.

In a CK2 game I was having with Prussia my heir became the king of Poland and since the pope declared a crusade against the Finns, a relative of mine inherited the kingdom of Finland, a with some "tactics", I ended up owning the Baltic, Poland and Finland. So my suggestion for Mazovia is, conquer Poland, the Teutons then culture shift to Prussian and form the kingdom of Prussia, then conquer Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland.
Do something cursed with Mazovia. Maybe make them Orthodox and form commonwealth lol.
If the wiki is limiting what nation you can play based on duplicate ideas, then a spinoff series should cover which of the nations of the shared ideas has the best start, events, formables, missions, and so on.

There's achievement for Mazowia - Back to Piast. U can get this and do sth additional (it's really easy achievement) for example take Intermarium boarders or sth else if that achievement is to easy for you
You should've went into South Africa and steer the sweet-sweet spice trade there with explo instead of quality but this is nice
You keep building centres of trade all thou you already had 100 % in both of your nodes.

In that region I would get infra, explo, expan so you get that policy which increase the development when province is colonized
idk i think expansion in africa is a must

If you can't see a province, you can still select it in the list in the peace deal.
Can you explain why you took economic instead of innovative? Would have been way more usefull for the goal.
How so? He was behind on tech until almost the end anyway and got ideas very late.

Manpower (if inland)/sailors (if costal), but most importantly: +1 building slot for all provinces in area. It's craaazy.
