The whole point is they’re not being given the opportunity to set those lap times because they don’t get the same training because when 4 year old boys and being put in go karts 4 year old girls are being told they should be playing with Barbie’s instead
Driving is very inclusive, because it has nothing to do about gender, but being completely honest, there is something about female brain and male driver that makes their driving different and there is also the "Fire" inside men, I haven't met a woman with that "Fire", It is something very inner and that doesn't involve gender
F1 doesn’t have rules against females participating in any given year. Yet I’m pretty certain most other sports don’t either. I just looked it up and there is nothing in the fifa regulations actually disallowing female participation, they just wouldn’t hold up.
I swear Parma signed a Swedish female for their senior mens team about 10 to 15 years ago. They tried to put her on the bench for a cup match and they were blocked. Struggling to remember her name though
Hmm, I think the difference is there isn't a Women's F1, W Series car and races are too dissimilar to be called F1, where as in football and other sports there are identical leagues thats have all the same rules but for different genders.
The problem with the W series is the gap between it and F1 is far too big, they drive regional F3 cars with about a quarter of the power of F1 cars. It could easily be a good platform to get more women into F3 but that's about it. Given her racing record it looks like Chadwick would get destroyed in F3, and that's by younger drivers with far less experience, F2 would be an even bigger challenge for her. I enjoy watching the W series and appreciate it for what it is, but success within it will never push anyone straight into F1.
F1 is the pinnacle of motorsports and its very very physical. Competitors should not only participate but be able to go for points whenever the opportunity comes. This makes competing for a woman just as likely as a woman being able to compete in the men's 100m sprint.
I'm not saying women can't drive very fast. The mother of Max Verstappen was very good at carting. There are several other women doing very well is racing. But we are talking about F1. This ia one of the most extreme categories. Yes, I think you can compare this with a woman competing in the men's final sprint. It takes so much of your body, you can't compensate it with skill.
I think as the talent pool of drivers swells it becomes more and more unlikely that we’ll ever see a woman in F1. Are there any women in motorsport right now that are even remotely close to getting a super license?
I would very much like to see a woman in F1, hopefully based on merit. But it must have occured to the sponsors that it would have a great marketing value, potentially attracting many new fans.
If there were 15 teams, you’d still have a very small pool of drivers at 30. Never mind when people talk about 12 teams. The number of teams would have to be MUCH bigger to cover for so many talented drivers who are left out.
Chadwick was in formula regional and finished 9th overall in the best car… please don’t lower the lvl of F1 because society would like women in f1. In my opinion they should continue to develop W series and maybe make it something big in the future🤷🏻♂️
as a female i did come to this video thinking you would be slightly sexist but i was pleasantly surprised. loved your video and everything you said has valid points which i agree with.
He's nothing special. Tried his hand at rallying bout a decade ago and he was rubbish which is surprising considering he's a finn [traditionally a rallying country]. Highly overrated driver
You’re generalising, odds are there is a woman out there who if you put through the same training as a young male at that age she could be world champion rn
Simple sender men are less scared of death cause the live of a male is less valuable for maintaining the species that’s why we are naturally less scared of dying and we risk it more in the corners
Imagine a shela out on the track if she made one mistake it would be scrutinized by allot of people. Think of that extra pressure there would be on her because in f1 you hold your life and your opponents life and health in your hands.

When a female can beat male drivers and excel in the junior feeder series, then they can drive in F1. But, not before.

Lmao, driving a car is too physical for a woman? Tell that to Michèle Mouton. To this day she helps women getting into motorsports.

The problem is that we need more teams in f1. Like ‘90, now with this big budget is hard for a team to accept a female driver over male.

The biggest problem is not driving the physique esp the neck muscles and the sweating
If you're good enough you can drive in Formula One. It's the most equal sport, if you disregard money, in the world.

Not just F1. Women are uncompetitive in all motorsports because they're simply not quick enough. The lap times don't lie.
