What a lovely pendant this technique yields!! You are so kind to share. I have been playing with solder and glass but this is such a rich quality pendant!!
Etching the dichroic glass that's a new idea for me to try Thank you for sharing. I was a bit concerned about the superglue but having read up on it Super glue is not toxic when heated so that's being added to my list as well.
They are beautiful pendants Tabitha. I love your work. I love seeing the large professional items but fascinated at what I can do at home so keep those tips coming!! 💕💕
I do already sell many XL murrine and wafers check out this link - www.tabithasglassemporium.com/product-category/90coe-glass-inclusions/xl-murrine-90coe/page/3/
Hi, it's: Basic - French Vanilla Starburst - 90COE, and a couple of Designer - French Vanilla Poppy - 90COE. Both of these products have French Vanilla in them.
Show us what you do! I've tried to tidy up a couple of fused things, but I only have a microwave kiln. If I use my grinder to smooth edges and then fire the piece again, it leaves a grey smut on the glass that won't go. One TH-cam video showed a woman with a chatting way... She used clear nail varnish! But I would love to see the process you use. X
It's been a while since I've done these, but I think I used the tile saw first and then my grinders to coldwork the edges. You can use a Taurus saw to cut the edges too, but you should grind them after too.
Thank you. Regarding kilns, it will depend where you live, if in the UK I love hobbyfusers, if not try and stick to something square, I personally feel they are much more practical
Hi tabitha great videos very helpful, ive only just started fusing glass with a microwave kiln, recently bought some milifoiri glass have tried it out by doing a line of them with dichroic each side, unfortunately when fired cracks have appeared on the line between the dichroic and moilifoiri, any advice would be gratefully received, thanks pete.
@@peteknight4281 stuff from China never is 90coe, you can’t use it, sorry to say, it’s why people like me go make it for a living are very careful only to use bullseye glass
@@TabithasGlassEmporium ahh well lesson learned, it was cheap thankfully, thanks for the reply, i shall get some from somwhere from uk, maybe warm glass as apart from the cracks they looked great, thanks again, pete.

Beautiful work! I love those, thank you so much for doing such wonderfully filmed tutorials......great, clear instructions..... You're such an inspiration. Do you sell the different frits & powders ? I'm not sure where to get those..... Thank you 💜
In this case I'm talking about cutting the edges off some of the pendants to make them square, which requires them to be ground after so the cut marks from the tile saw are not visible. Or just grinding the edges down to make the pendants more square.
Hi Erin, we do have them available in our shop in Croatia, but if you are interested in buying them send as an email to info@tabithasglassemporium.com and please specify which one you are interested in so we will check the stock
Really love that the thickness gives them lots of depth and the rounded edges are wonderful !!!

I loved the video, it's very interresting!! In France no-one share the fusing works or the firing schedule...Thanks a lot for this
I wonder why is that? Thank you
Beautiful. Love your work. Can u please show how you attach the bails?
Hi Elizabeth, we use glue to glue it to the glass. Glue we use is two part Araldite glue.
Gorgeous!
The silver one is my favorite.
Thank you Tabitha, love your videos. And thanks for sharing 💕
Thank you so much Tabitha you are so great at this! Your help is wonderful!

Could you do a video on cold working? I've not found any so far. X
Catherine Howard it’s hard as it very much depends what equipment you have.

Thanks Tabitha… do you use the Taurus saw to cut the edges straight before firepolishing? 🐢
It's been a while since I've done these, but I think I used the tile saw first and then my grinders to coldwork the edges. You can use a Taurus saw to cut the edges too, but you should grind them after too.
I’m wondering what a “toro saw” is and how it’s used to cut the small pieces of glass. What does the saw look like? I’m new to this.
Hi, it is a Taurus Saw, you can put it in google search and you will see how it looks like and there you can find where you can buy one.
Hi, I love your videos! What kind of kiln would you recommend for someone just starting to advance from microwave kilns? Thank you!
Thank you. Regarding kilns, it will depend where you live, if in the UK I love hobbyfusers, if not try and stick to something square, I personally feel they are much more practical
Good video, thanks for sharing! I couldn't quite make out what you said about the super glue, do or do not use cheap glue? Thanks!
I am pretty sure she said use cheap super glue.
Yes it’s cheap super glue 😊

Where are the murrine (another word for Mili) from? It sounds like comparability problems so murrine are probably a different COE
Hi tabitha, got the murrin from ebay slow boat from china, on the packet it does say its coe 90 but who knows

Sorry I don’t sell Frits and powders, where do you live in the world?
Can you use any super glue in the kiln?
In my experience the cheapest super glue works best as it burns out without leaving any residue.
one can use Elmers clear school glue. it burns of.
