Thanks for posting the videos! I have the zg 332 60” and love it!!! I run hi lift blades on it and don’t seem to have the problem of grass blowing out of the front. I do have a cut out issue turning left like you talked about. Now it’s cutting out and dying sometimes. Usually starts right back up but today it took a minute before it would start again. Only does it after mowing awhile like it’s heat related!! What are your thoughts? Thanks

Hello Chris and thanks for watching. I solved my deck blowout by lowering my deck from 3.5 inches to around 3 inches, guess I was mowing my grass too high. My mower still occasionally dies when turning left. I suspect the electrical fuel shut off valve on the carb may be the culprit but cannot prove that. If you'd like to investigate the part number is Kubota #EG551-44720 ASSY SOLENOID.

I wouldn’t want a gas mower that heavy

There is a blade positioning diagram on line…..don’t know if it would help flying debri from deck 🤷🏻‍♂️. Mine does not blow anything in my face and I have the same exact mower. I do have the Kabota blades

Appreciate that but already been through that. In the summer when it's hot and dry I mow my grass higher to reduce stress. About 3.5 inches and that's when the clippings blow out the front. I'll just have to deal with it. Thanks for commenting!!!

Hi, I have a Ferris 2200 with 61 inch deck. When installed hi lift suctions blades on it I noticed much more dust come coming out front of mower deck. I went to a Gator ripper mulching blade set. This pretty much got rid of debris coming out front of deck. Hope this helps.

OK, maybe the Gator blades I have on it are the "hi lift" type and are creating too much wind under the deck causing the blowout. I will check that out. I certainly do appreciate that feedback!

Hello, I had the same problem with no crank until I cycled the brake pedal a bunch of times. Replaced the safety switch on the brake lever and now it starts reliably, but I still have the issue where it cuts out when turning left. Curious about the unit you're using to repower the safety switches... can you tell me where to get it or what it's called? Thanks!

My Kubota still cuts out when I turn fast to the left when the fuel tank level is getting low. I think it's just fuel sloshing around in the float bowl and may just be a characteristic.
When they get older safety switches can still work but yet not provide enough current to activate the starter solenoid and that can be a diagnostic nightmare. Enter "starter switch relay". I buy mine from a local starter rebuilder but couldn't find the exact one online for you. @@JSProjectWild I figured out why my mower was cutting out when turning left (and when mowing fast and hitting bumps. The rubber air intake hose that goes from the air filter housing to the intake manifold was rubbing the governor arm. I bent the two metal arms that hold the air filter housing up slightly and moved the hose that goes to the radiator fan shroud down slightly so it wasn't pulling on it. Problem solved, no more cutting out! Interested to see if it's the same issue on yours!

@@ryanandtina17 After reading your post I ran out to the pole barn and checked it out. Mine has plenty of clearance so that is not the issue with mine. And it only seems to act up when the fuel level is below 1/4 but is exactly as you described---cuts out on fast left hand turns and over hard bumps. Hope your stays fixed! Thanks for the heads up anyways!
