I think that's part of the difference between the SPLITTER and a 2 exit Container. The Container will try to feed one channel until that side is filled and then feeds to other channel. If the Container has enough materials in it, it will feed BOTH channels as demand allows. The SPLITTER, though, will take all input and "evenly" divide the output based on demand.
@@INullPointerException I have not played the game, but I was thinking that splitting the ore to 2 belts would then evenly fill it and maybe use both outputs to get one to both machines. I may be wrong [likely lol], was just giving a possible alternative.
Hey Z, just a tip, if you press "V" when your building you will bring out your drone and it makes it easier to build some would agree I guess. Thanks for the vids Z.
If they want finite resources, they should insert them in a level system. Easy => Infinite Resources Normal => Finite but big amount of resources Hard => Finite resources that soon deplete. Press V when you wanna build. Then you switch into the drone mode and can build in a top down view perspective. That makes it easier to places things.
I would suggest using a splitter instead of the storage container. It will give you much more consistent and predictable results. If you want to maintain a stock of the raw resource, send it to a small container first and then to the splitter. Regarding the warehouse, be warned that it is HUUUUGE. (And the tier 2 warehouse is huge squared....)
You are right in that infinite resources are best. I make sure to turn that on in Dyson Sphere Program as an example. Which this game kinda reminds me of.
Infinite nodes. I can deal with ginormous nodes, or games where you can choose. A mix with lots of finite (but not just one use) nodes that eventually run out and few infinite nodes is pretty good as well.
Hey z1 gaming you should create a massive flat foundation area for all of the production for all of the individual components that you are going to need and you should build a massive living compartment base for everything you are going to need for the survival aspect of the game
GG. That wave is going to get really annoying. Early versions of Astroneer had storms which forced you to sit around doing nothing for 5 minutes. Since the wave destroys only early game stuff, it's going to become as annoying as Astroneer's storms.
@@Stegorex_1112 Or more likely a giant tidal wave now that I think about it. It's regular so Tidal wave is more probable. That said It'd take huge moon (or similar gravitational scenario) relative to it's distance to reliably create tidal waves that high so tectonic activity is going to be more frequent and sever. It's even possible that's a repeating tsunami caused by a repeating lithographic tidal wave.

I was thinking maybe place a splitter from the mine and then run both belts to the container?.
@@slate613what would that help? It would be exactly the same

@@slate613 I mean maybe that's how it works, I think the best way would be to make a container, and then a splitter afterwards
honestly having no deconstruction penalty is the best

I prefer when games like this have multiple resource options available including infinite so players can pick their own difficulty setting.
Good timing, I just pass 1.5 hour building a concrete bridge between the 2 island, and now I take a break and ...your video just appears 😁
I just started this game yesterday. I'm super excited and confused on how some of the things work like the water pump. Thank you for your videos.
Yes! I was pretty interested after Ep. 1. Thanks for sharing more!

Interesting game! Me: Watching Z1 slowly dying from not eating! A bad habit of his!
hi hi! Z you can enter a drone (fly) mode in order to lock around for nodes, ore or for building.
this game looks so cool i would love to see more of it and cant wait till its out to play it
Loving the vids on this mate 😁👍
Great vidoe, FYI the warehouse is BIG!!
you only seem to lose the basic power generation options to the wave but the more advanced ones will stay.

Definitely in the infinite group for factory games.

I hope you reach 1 mil by the end of the year ❤❤
Use small splitters also and the 2 Parts Containers
"Oh well shoot. . ."

You should start building a base
also you need to start bulk storage on the things using containers
Z noooo... you should have built a smelter up then ran the belts to a storage crate ❤
keep up the gud work bro love ur videos
It would look cool if the water pulled away from the shore when the wave comes in.
I smell a bus system coming next episode
Build solar panels bigger and get the battery
Hey Z. Are you going to do a series for Techtonica for full release on Nov 7?
Unless the wave destroys more stuff or does something of significance, after like an hour of gameplay, it is already defeated.
It's a demo, so that's fine for what it is at this time.
plz contunine the crust Z! Its my favorite series

the ship is a lot of fun to pilot. My planet has a lot of tress, grass looks so good. is this really a demo ?? lol
Rock deposit does that mean I can mine 🪨 oh boy my head 😂
This game looks like satisfactory from temu😂🤣
PLAY MORE STARTGROUND!!!!!!
As far as I can tell you only loose power sources (solar and wind) to the tsunami.
