This film deserves an appropiate remaster. It has to be treated and aknowledged as a work of art, not only a documentary. Like G'olé in 1982, these two films can be considered the result of an amazing job in the 80's that blended both a beautiful soundtrack (made by Rick Wakeman) along with a wonderful script that keeps the tense environment until the very last moment.

A zenék kegyetlen jók,amit tudtam már beazonosítottam közülük. A sorozat többi részét azóta sem láttam,az EUROSPORT is csak a '90-es VB előtt adta le őket,azóta egyik VB előtt sem,pedig a többi rész is hasonlóan van megcsinálva,zenével,belső képekkel. I remember Mexico 86 like it was yesterday. Loved that time. I was an absolute nut for Diego Maradona. I watched all his games and I remember crying with joy when they won the World Cup. Great time.

When i was 6 in 1986, i sat on my father's shoulder to watch World Cup in my poor neighborhood with only 1 TV surrounded by more than 100 men standing. Since then, i realized football. 14, i played football because of Maradona. Now i am 40, i still love Maradona skills.

Aunque probablemente esas imagenes se hayan capturado en cinta film de 35mm por eso tiene calidad y con un leve ajuste de remasterizacion se logra mejorar aun mas.

Hugo Sanchez, Butragueño, Laudrup, Platini, Bats, Lineker, Shilton, Rummenigge, Socrates, Zico, Careca and Maradona. It was a great world cup because it had great players at their peak, and an amazing display of quality.
My first world cup and simply the best world cup. I have never seen a player can take the whole team to the highest level and win the cup like that. I guess we will never see anything close to that ever again. And overall, watching legends like Maradona, Zico, Platini, Sanchez playing in that tournament was such a joy.

@@sebas89ify Porque se tenia que vender los partidos a Europa y si jugaban a las 20 hs en Europa eran las 5 am de la madrugada, jugaban a pleno rayo del sol en la altura de México, la final fue al mediodia, asi y todo jugaron un mundial de alto nivel los equipos que llegaron arriba.
Para mi, esa final del Mundial del '86 es la mejor (o por lo menos debe ser una de las mejores) de la historia, tuvo de todo: goles, drama, buen juego y ambos equipos se brindaron al máximo.

FIFA made a great documentary film for my favorite football star Maradona, thank you FIFA members very much. When i was 6 in 1986, i sat on my father's shoulder to watch World Cup in my poor neighborhood with only 1 TV surrounded by more than 100 men standing. Since then, i realized football. 14, i played football because of Maradona. Now i am 40, i still love Maradona skills.

Hugo Sanchez, Butragueño, Laudrup, Platini, Bats, Lineker, Shilton, Rummenigge, Socrates, Zico, Careca and Maradona. It was a great world cup because it had great players at their peak, and an amazing display of quality.
Zico was past his prime, Socrates wasnt in his prime and laudrup lost early on in the tournament
My first world cup and simply the best world cup. I have never seen a player can take the whole team to the highest level and win the cup like that. I guess we will never see anything close to that ever again.
