I’ve always been nervous when it came to lithium. But the lto 6.0 connects directly to my starter battery and I can put lithium cells behind it. Makes it much more simple.
i use 2 DFS LTO 6.0 on a SFB 5000 from sundown with a stock agm battery

I’m running 1 Jp40 ah battery along with the voltage monitoring and I did a battery delete with a Xs power 500sb super capacitor bank it works wonderful no voltage drop at all.
I've already got a XS d3400 under the hood of my scion xb on a mechmann 240 and I'm lookin to add 3 LTO 6.0's for a Sundown SALT6 and a precision power art ax606.2, a600.2 and a600, running two Stereo Integrity HST18's, active stereo integrity 3 way front stage and additional SI midbass in rear doors.
I am currently using all Xs and a Xs 500 super cap will be going with at least two d4s 6.0s to keep the weight down.. the S10 has gotten heavy with the 4x15 setup Boss lol
I am currently running 3000 watts on my factory AGM. I really am thinking about the LTO6.0 because I have no supplemental battery. This seems to be the easiest add and for the price its hard to beat. My factory alternator is around 225 amps and it seems to work fine, however, when I get to cranking it over time I want to ensure that my alternator and battery holds together longer.
I have a cheap autozone battery now. Should I get a second battery or upgrade the truck one?
Hey JP maybe you can do a video on charging all of these same items. Say your vehicle sits a lot. What is a safe way to charge say an XP 3000.
I feel like a lot of people see these crazy set ups with multiple batteries and feel lume they need them. I have a 2000watt amp pushing 2 12s on a stock 120amp alternator and one amg battery under the hood. Big 4, 0guage ofc everything and have no issues whatsoever. If you dont do demos and mainly play your music while driving.. you'll be fine

I've got 1500watt rms skar amp for my 15/15s and 400watt rms pioneer for doors with stock electrical.
No voltage drops while driving and the ones I get while at idle are minor.
I'm still working on getting a HO alt tho cuz I have dreams of doing hair tricks and running a single 5k 15 or 18. Not necessarily hair tricks and the single sub at the same time tho.. then again maybe so, dreams lol

1 your alternator and battery will not last as long, and 2 your sound quality will suffer.

00:29 the cbd oil mixture is hydrophobic, that's why it doesn't want to blend in with the coffee. That company should check into nano emulsions. Liposomally coated cannabinoids are hydrophilic... water soluble.
Looks like a fire tincture, prob not best to mix with drinks, but will blend in super easy to foods, esp foods with lots of fat...

I am using a XS 4800 under the hood and 2 LTO 6.0 in the back. Recovery is very fast when I drop to 13.6-13.8 it goes back up to 14.4 in a matter of seconds. I run a 370 amp Mechman alternator. Have a Taramps Smart 5k with 2 X v.2 15" subs @ 1ohm.
What Smart Bass the .5-2.0 ohms or the 1.0-2.0 ohms ?
dude.. fuckign thank you.. that is the same size battery perfect fitment for my 2004 saab 9-3.. it's bigger than the napa legend premium agm I got and should work better.. more expensive but I think I'll be getting that.

Is it any better running your power wire stight back from the HO alternator to your battery in the back and one lead over too your front battery ?
I run two feeds of 1/0 from alt to primary batt , then two feeds of 1/0 back to secondary, over kill on grounds , wires never get hot 6k watts , taramps 5k and taramps ds1200 ,
XS power LTO cells for the win if you assemble it yourself . Down 4 Sound sells them and you are for sure going to receive quality cells unlike other internet sellers that send you used or b stock crap .
So will I have any issues using the jp40 alone with Michigan winters, get some -20 nights, most are 0 to -10 Fahrenheit?..just running a 3.5k crescendo and a Fi sp4v2 15, but Need those cold cranking amps!
Ohio Generator 300amp alt with a d3400 under hood and a d3100 in the back runs my Taramps smart 5k a Crescendo Symphony S4 and 2-12" IA Lethal Injection 12s in a Gately 4.0 subs up port back. Vehicle is Honda odyssey. Voltage never gets lower then 13.8
I run (2) XS D3400 batteries with a 320 amp mechman alternator, Big 3, all 1/0 ofc wire, running a Sundown Salt 3K on (2) Skar VXF 12's at 1 ohm. They sound delicious!
I'm running (1) XS D2400 battery with a stock alt for now until I find a company that makes one for my truck. Big 3 all 1/0 ofc wire running a sundown sfb1500 soon to be a SALT 2 or 3K on (2) Skar SVR 15's at 1ohm. With a SALT 200.2 on my doors with (2) of JPs USCMR 6.5's and (2) Skar SPX-T tweeters. Thinking about changing up the setup tho.🤷🏽♂️
Sounds like a awesome set up, go ahead and get the salt 3k, with 2 Skar VXF 12's, they will not disappoint.
I have the JP23V2 and JP84 on my stock 120amp alt with 2 6ah LTO banks and the D4S supercap bank. I can hold 13.5 with no clipping.

i run a smart 5 on a xp2500 and 2- 77 ah agm starting batteries, a 370 alt dual runs of ofc.. did grea tcharged at 14.8 droped to 13.1 at the lowest,, i upgraded to yinlong lto 80 ah never looked back now i dont drop below 14.8 charge at 15.5

Hey jp so I have a group49 trunk battery (stock) I'm running your jp23v2 at 1 ohm and an alpine 600 4 channel, stock alt for now its a 200 amp I would love to get a lighter and more power battery set will the titan8 pwr-s5-4900 replace my stock battery without problems I heard that sometimes replacing to lithium your charging voltage drops
Im using 2 banner Running Bull 70ah batteries, one under the hood and one in the trunk. Probably going to buy some more cause my headlights are still blinking while i play with my 2000 watts amp, haven't done the big 3 yet but im almost there! I chose banner cause alot of people around my area use it and they are happy with it. Im feeling good running these batteries together, but some more will come later. I have an old VW golf 2008 1.6 so it's hard to put more stuff back in the trunk but so far im happy with it. Planning to buy Deaf Bonce subs but first i need some more power :)

Your headlights should not be dimming or blinking with 2 70ah batteries .

So you have a D3400r under the hood, so I would do a JP LTO as my secondary battery and as a alternator do a mechman 240 or a Brand X 240.
Can you use a d4s Li battery under the hood AND a secondary d4s Li battery in the rear to power the amplifiers?
DO NOT put lithium under the hood. It's too hot in there, you'll turn your car into an external combustion vehicle if you do.
im planning on running Ioxus UC 31 to 2019 Charger scat.. I dropped my 6.0 LTO and its pos post was damaged....are they fixable?
I have a mechman 240 amp alt with a xs power d3100 under the hood. I have the lto 6.0 in the back all powering a jp23 and a jp234. It is plenty of power for those 2 amps

@Johnny piper no I did not add any isolator at all. It isn't needed but probably would be better with 1
I have about 2,000w in a Ram 1500. 5.7Hemi , stock Alt and battery. Can I use the XS Power xp750 behind the back seat(because of space) and it give enough support. Also have done the Big 3 on the factory alt. Currently my volt meter stays around 13.9 - 14.1.

What about charging the batteries with lithium and agm charger, xs power up front and lto 6.0 out back? Set the charger on what? Or just charge them individually and send it?
From what I've read and heard,. You need to charge the lto disconnected and by its self , battery charger can't charge two different types at the same time

You're not cycling that battery so it's going to be lasting a good while longer. You've got like 10 more years till calendar degradation has you down to 75% of it's rated output and capacity.
@@69nites cycling as in it dyin and recharging they've never died or even been under 13.5 they still keep up they've been good batteries no shit, I've heard a lot of bad but I've never had an issue

I have a red top under hood, two of the LTO 6.0 batteries and a 400 amp alternator in a 03 Tahoe
I also have a Optima Red Top and a 400 amp Mechman alt, but not extra batteries yet. I'm only running a single JP 23v2 at 2 ohms though. Did the LTOs stabilize voltage? I can crank my system up and the volt gauge will dip to 13.8 or so, but snap right back to 14.3-14.5 after a big bass hit.
@@cragre28 at full tilt my voltage drops to 13.8 those batteries are a huge life saver. My amps don’t even get hot while playing. Charging wise I have two different voltage meters. The trucks voltage and the back bank. I’m usually with .2v charging and yes the voltage does snap back quickly. Look at it like this, that one amp could drop you down to 12.8-12.4. While your amp can deal with being that low it will get hot bc it’s working so hard at a low voltage area. Once you get it higher it doesn’t take that much amperage but you make way more power bc there is more for the amp to use easily

@Travis Hamler Thant you for the tip. I am 43 years old and I have always had stereos, even when I was 15 and did not have a car. I have now gotten back to getting loud and going to shows, I have 2 Dayton Ultimax 18's running off a JP 23v2 at 2 ohms with the 400 amp Mechman. Last night I was listening to the bass boosted version of Late Night Tip and even during extended bass drops at way over 140db, the voltage never got under 13.7 volts. With my truck off that is a whole different story. Even at low volume, voltage goes below 11 in less than 5 minutes. I am about to go 2 Sundown X18s to get the JP down to 1 ohm, so extra batteries or caps are a must now.

Name brand just get a high output alternator and some decent deep cycle batteries to keep the voltage at 14.4 to 14.6 they are trying to keep the voltage at 16 volts with lithium batteries? My setup is for daily driving and that's about 2hr a day at minimum volume

@Shawn Arnold I've used yellow tops before they were earlier models they lasted about 7 years but I heard the new ones doesn't last that long Northstar batteries are pretty good they are made in the United States I seen a video on them

Alt imo. I just got a new car and first thing i did is a singer alternator
I did batteries at 1st with a big 3 alt kit technically cuz they were available and in stock but I did order my alternator at the same time but ther was a 2 week wait for it to be built but it all depends on your budget and system if its not that big of a system at 1st then go batteries 1st with a big 3 alt kit but if you have a big system install waiting to go in then I'd go altenator 1st with the big 3 alt kit with the altenator
Both..once u get the big alternator it's running so much current that it will charge a stock battery twice as fast and burn wires up 2..a bigger battery may take longer to charge on a stock alternator..so get both and do big 3 and ur golden..
Every time, the answer _should be_ alternator. "It takes power to make power", so if your alternator isn't supplying your battery/system, not only are you underperforming but you're causing things like voltage drops, dimming headlights, potential ECU damage, and a host of other unwanted things. The battery is only a storage device that can only give out what it has at the rate it's being charged. Paired with a Big 3 upgrade, you might even find out that you don't even need more/different batteries, depending on your system draw.

@Travis Hamler When it's in park my voltage meter shows 14.6 at full tilt? When I'm driving it drops to 13.6 at a red light? I have a bass 8k taramps and my gains are setup before clipping? I'm 56 years old bro I been hooking up systems for over 40 years? Clipping causes voltage drop? That's why I don't run Korean amplifiers anymore They are power hungry?
@Travis Hamler And this is a daily driving setup I'm more into Sq then spl my 8k is pushing two fi hc 15s 2500 rms box is 8 cubic feet tuned to 33 hertz have not had a single problem with my setup subwoofers don't even smell
@Travis Hamler And on the final note that amplifier is only pushing 65 hundred watts at the most? Efficiency and impedance rise all plays a huge part? That's why it is best to buy a amplifier that has twice as much power for your subwoofers so you can have some headroom?

I asked Jason the owner of this company to provide a couple subwoofers for a combat veteran who lost his legs in Iraq and absolutely loves down for sound and they wouldn't even send him a sticker.. The amount of attention he would have received for doing this would have been monumental for their company and they just refused.. I lost all respect for this company, I wasn't asking for a handout or anything, just wanted to do a colab or something which would have increased their popularity by a ton and they wouldn't do shit. I wanted to surprise my friend with a couple 12 inch subs and I would have got him to do a video on his install doing it with no legs and thanking down for sound for doing it and they would barely even write me back saying that they aren't doing any charity right now.. It ain't charity Jason! It's supporting someone who supports you and your company for a lot of years! Oh and he also happened to have lost his legs fighting for your freedom.. Forgot to mention that. Un real man! You give away speakers just for the fun of it but you can't give away a couple speakers to a man that fought for you to be able to sit there and do what you're doing? Real nice Jason! Real nice! Way to lead by example..
Ya bro the only time these companies give a shit is if it clearly raises their sales. He didn't see the potential and figured it was a waste. I understand you can't send every kid with a sob story a sub but you're not the only person I've heard talk about this company. They make it a few years and think they've "arrived" but half their success comes from people wanting to support homegrown american business. If I were you I'd contact every other speaker company out there and tell them your story, including this.
