  • In this video, we will show you how to install this 1968 - 1972 GM lower disc brake conversion kit.     Would it be possible to assemble the brakes outside the car like you did and then install them onto the car already assembled?

      Yes it is possible to do it that way. The hardest part will be having the spring compressed and attaching the spindle. It is easier to do when you have a light spindle and not 40 lbs extra to hold.

    I’m looking at a c10 with all disc brakes but no e brake. I don’t live in a city with hills . Would that be a problem?

    There is no video on installing the spindle with the rotor aswell? :\

      We did not want to get into the Spindle install since we did not have a car on site. There are a few good videos on how to compress springs and remove/replace spindles and rotors on youtube.

    For some reason I can't get out the two mounting bolts on the side on my new caliper, they just keep spinning

      The Pins will spin and spin once they are threaded out enough. You need to push them out. They can get stuck tight on the dry seals.
