What you're missing there is that the differential housing broke loose of the axle tubes due to all the torque. If you compare it to the shot where they show the torque arm, you can see the difference.
Jesus, this is depressing to watch. Ruined 2 classics.
That hood is going to be rust in no time. It's getting filled with mud between the inner and outer skin, and no way to clean it out or dry it. Should have sealed the space between the inner and outer. Too many shortcuts in this build. And ditch the Keg - that just looks stupid.
You’d have to drink the whole contents of the keg to think it looks good!
Why not make a light bar or add a winch?

Next time you use a hole saw to mark a radius, flip it over. The back side of the saw is smooth and the center of the bit is easier to mark or line up with a previous point.

Every video I have to comment on that right rear tire being on the wrong way those are directional tires 3 of them are correct ever since the beginning when they got these they've been on the wrong way please fix that 1 tire it's driving me crazy and if you're driving on the road like this it's actually very dangerous

From would've been a better idea to put a massive winch on the front of that instead of a beer keg that does nothing And I'm talking about the kind of winch that you would put on A deuce and a 1/2

I hate to say this. Years ago my daughter had some liquid wax and cleaner and I have always been a dye hard Turtle wax user. She was telling me how good her stuff was and I was going to show her up by letting her see how her wax with built-in cleaner fell far behind Turtlewax.
I had an old Mustang 2 sitting down at the barn and that car had been ridden hard and put up wet. It looked like crap and what was once a candy apple red car was then a pink color and really sad looking and it also had been sitting under a maple tree which drip tree goop onto anything under it.
On one side of the hood, she applied her liquid wax with cleaner. On the other side, I applied the Turtle wax. To my surprise, there was just no comparison between the two. The stuff my daughter had beat the Turtlewax hands down in all areas I am sorry to say.
Did they do full-time 4 wheel drive and if they didn't how is the transfer case going to kick it in to 4 wheel drive

Needs more power for mud that deep, more tire too. The radiator in the back is better than up front where it will get no air flow in deep mud. There are some issues with this build, but too much horsepower and the location of the radiator aren't among them.

Towed by Ford. Recovered by Ford. I think I would have shortened it more and put a K5 on it, trying to hide that it's a Chevy never ends well.
A bullet proof Ford 9 inch differential would have prevented that rearend failure..
From what I have seen the Detroit locker in those was prone to failure. Im a gord guy but i doubt a 9 inch would hold up to tires and large, that much weight and all that motor. That and it all depends on the idiot behind the wheel.
I would've put a winch on the front instead of that keg.

tell these guys never been in mud. leaf springs are a no-no . get that stupid keg out and cut that frame to the hood. four link the front . toss the tires and rims put 14.9-24 r2 tires on14x24 rims . you need hydro steering . complete front to rear roll cage . that just the begining

The types of mods they did to this thing are just so cringey. The keg looks terrible, the intake is terrible for something built for mud, and those zoomies are terrible.
Why don't you make a playlist of each project so they are in order and easy to find, follow, and watch? Also, for professionals these guys do more hacking than anything, I certainly wouldn't want them doing any work for me. I mean they are so concerned about the "Iconic" front grill and then they plop that stupid barrel right in front of it, duhhhh, and don't even complete the strap clamp properly, they just use a nylon strap for the top, how lazy.
