Carnivine is actually one of my favorites because I have so much nostalgia for it. When I was younger I used to collect the cards, and I had a very cool carnivine card that I was obsessed with. Now, I'm very attached to it.

Sceptile is my fav Pokemon and that's why I chose treeco and wanted to mega evolve it straight away and bought the sceptile ex tin and have treasured that card forever. Although I do really love grass types
Speaking of the "primal fear"...Michael~it's definitely not just truegreen7~I can totally understand about the black and white combination...only it's not on Claydol, mainly it's because it's not that black at all. Actually I feel the same creepiness when I see Orca, of course in this case the particular pattern matters as well. Also...the middle part of the flowers...to me it's maybe not about Trypophobia~for some reason I'm a bit afraid of touching flowers~both the middle part and the petals...but again I don't transfer this fear to pokemon design.
I love Klingklang. It has a lot if good signature moves, and is used by Nikolai, the best antagonist in Pokemon. It has a good steel type with Levitate and a very good special attack. I do think its a cool pokemon, and its design makes him look mysterious and interesting

My thing about Carnavine is that it should have a move or Typing making it good saints Bug Types. Maybe give it a strong signature move and ability to make it a Bug wrecking Grass Type or something. I kind of like Klinklang as I've gotten it in Random Battles in Showdown and it's pretty decent in battle and it's not one of my least favorite designs. As for the rest, I don't really like any of them, although for different reasons than you do.
Klingklang is under the Top 5 Pokémon designs I don’t like. For example, Magnemite is not just a Magnet with eyes. You can see it has a really good design around the magnets, but klinklang for me is just gears with eyes. For me it’s bland like the Hawaii flower chain Pokémon with eyes or other Pokémon ,based around a object, with just eyes.

It looks original like a flower collar. Magnemite don’t looks like an original Magnet -> 🧲. He has different things on him like the ball that works as his body and not just a magnet as a Pokémon. I have my reasons why I have this opinion. You Said I don’t know about these Pokémon, so why could I complain about their designs, wise guy. Sure i know about these Pokémon when I can talk about their Looks. 🤦♂️ At the end it’s all opinion based and these Pokémon I mentions are so bland to me ,that I can’t consider them as Pokémon’s. Magnemite is a Good example how to make a object that feels alive or like a real Pokémon imo.

It would be super cool if you could make a video giving scenarios where you listen to Pokémon music. Like telling us what theme you listen to for a bike ride, what you listen to to wake you up in the morning, what you listen to when you work out, etc.

You have the best reasons for disliking pokemon. No jumping on bandwagons. No taking the game more seriously than you need to, just plain "it's creeps me out" That's honestly really refreshing even though I disagree with most of these. Totally with you on sunflowers though. Those things are creepy.
i used to really hate muk, i saw it as unnapealing and a lazy design, then when sun and moon came out i decided to try out alolan grimer and muk and by the end of the game he was one of my favourite team members and now i really like it

Hey true green, I had trypophophia before to, but an easy way to get over it is to cross your hands over and put them on your arms, apply a little pressure and then just go down the bottom section of your arms, rinse and repeat
