- In this video we get stuck into the storytelling side of miniature painting! Here, we'll get into how to start creating your own characters, how to paint Night Lords, and how to make some grisly battle effects by hand!
(I know I got my Rafens confused... But in my defense, it's Raphaen vs. Rafen... we're not the most original legion when it comes to names, are we?)

3:40 The difference is basically that warp talons are pseudo-possessed, while raptors are just chaos marines that like killing people at extremely high velocity
So considering this is 40k. Not much of a difference then
@@mordredpendragon1235 in a couple of books was mentioned warp tallons can as well teleport, making a little warp rifts with their.. hehe.. *warp tallons* and crawling through them through like space & time. I dont remember the book name, but it was Robbie Macniven's about Space Sharks
That looks awesome. I love the blood spray effect. You have definitely made that captain a stand out model in your army. Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you for watching!
That's actually so incredibly cool! I've wanted to do the same thing with a disk sorcerer and my captain for a while. This is one of the best conversion vids I've ever seen, keep making stuff like this!
Thank ya! That's amazing to hear. I'll definitely keep it up! Happy to have you along!
Damn, that's such a cool way to paint CSM, especially as it mirrors your painting style of the loyalists.
Thank ya! There's definitely a lot of potential there. I'll definitely be getting deeper into it!
Hey man, nice channel, subbed.
Thank you! Happy to have you along! 😄
Very cool, I could imagine doing a champion or even a demon prince using that technique like the villain from the end of the first Wesley Snipes Blade movie, maybe also give him skeletal wings of blood (with or without any actual bone bits) and have a detached power claw connected by more blood stabbing into the side of his opponent. Heck maybe a big blood golem with bit's of power armor floating inside.
What about paining the silver in an orange then dry brushing more of the original gunmetal then the lighter silver then doing the blue to try and get a metallic chromatic black in the shadows.
May be my favorite that you ever showed, it was a pleasure watching you work from the inside of your walls Mr. Hollow :)
Ps. I saw your comment last time before you deleted it ;)
I'm glad you enjoyed! I definitely think he's one of my best characters. Thank you for all the time you spend in my walls. :)
I figured it was probably best for me to not keep stirring the pot. 😅 But I do appreciate the comment section backup!
Nice
Saw the decapitation effect on Instagram, love it very awesome scene work!
Happy to see ya over here! Thanks for the support!
Amazing
I saw you already made them but I wanna see you make some Horus heresy units for the blood angels into 40k like the dawnbreaker cohort and the silver helmeted guys I don’t remember their names
For sure! I tried them a while back, but I think they're definitely due for another attempt. The Crimson Paladins would also be fun to try!
Naaah, i understand the csm being killed as a diorama/display piece and all, but candy armor for the midnight clad bois? Thats disrespect
