Would love to see some longer term reviews, like looking back at top phones from last year to see how they've held up and improved or got worse with software updates. Thanks for your awesome videos

I think I have an interesting idea for periods like this when new phones aren't coming out.
As most major manufacturers continue to update their phones in terms of camera performance after the launch of the phone, it is always noticeable that there is always a "special" update that disrupts the operation of the camera just before the launch of their new "flagship". . I've seen a lot of comparisons when a phone came out and was a real king of the camera, and a few months later, when I look at other comparisons of the same phone against others, the camera sucks compared to before.
My idea is that if you still keep the old photos and flagships you've used in your videos since the phones were released, could you make such comparisons "before and after updates, worse or better?"
With the proviso that the phones are at least 8 months old (p40 pro, mate 40 pro, mi 10 ultra, Samsung s20, note 20 ultra, etc.).

By the way Ben, i like your videos, you are the most honest reviewer among so many!! I don't want to mention the reviewers but when i want to buy a phone (i do buy phones twice a year) i watch your reviews. I have just only one suggestion, if there is any possibility to review (Exynos) versions of Samsung's phones (and) compare them to the Snapdragon variant that being sold in HK, for sure if that is possible because you have many visitors from Europe/Asia/Middle East and other parts of the world there Samsung sells their Exynos variants.
i finally decided to order an s21 ultra (from the company i always order my phones on) but when it arrived and i opened it up, imediately i noticed that the back panel felt VERY weak and cheap.
i sent it back, ordered one on the official samsung website but also this one had the same issue.
especially as this phone is so very expensve i don't want to accept this.
can you please tell me if this is normal ?
am i too picky or am i right for not accepting this ?

so i'm oddly in love with these clones and I'm looking to get my first one from Wish here shortly, but there's a question that I have a hard time finding the answer to, maybe you can help. How risky are these phones for stealing data? if the one i get actually works decently, I'm looking at giving it to my son to use. Would you not worry about it? He's not going to have any credit card info or anything on it, but still wanted to ask.

Nothing wrong with copying. As long as it’s being sold as a clone and not deceiving anyone to scam them. Some people like buying clones because they can’t afford the real one just to keep up with society standards. So there’s a market for clones. As long as no one sells the clone at the real phone price. It’s perfectly fine and a good thing.

He's big time into this kind of experiments, he takes them even apart to see how they've been made and the quality of materials used.

You could have gotten an S8 or S9 and its siblings for such comparison or use custom roms on XDA to compare with the stock roms.

Got mines for lolz and they didnt even try. Back side had no logo. Booting up said yumefone, not samsung. I requested the color black and got a pinkish look. 0/10 effort. Now I'm gonna fill it up with pron and leave it playing somewhere public.

I feel personally attacked by the mp3 comment. Lol. I have hundreds of gigs of music downloaded on my phone because I'd rather have it stored locally than to depend on streaming services that have monthly fees and could remove content from their library at any time.

What's funny is of you go to the bulk supplier pages on Ali or Banggood, and they'll flat out TELL you by how much these phones under deliver on their box specs. It's incredible that online retail sites allow such bald faced advertising violations.

There's another fake one out there. The seller had a real box but the phone was fake. It was better made than the one you're showing. They took out the phone jack and made other adjustments so it's even more clone like. Where the fake differs is it only had 8GB and not the 12/16GB the real ones have. It has 256GB also, but it would only work in edge. The performance was horrible.
