I've been there 4 times, incl. camping ... and haven't seen all of it, yet! It's quite "expensive", but worth every penny! :) Well, no!! ... it's actually cheap for what you get! It was like 150€ per day, incl. night-stay (sleeping at the beach) and breakfast ... well, I've been to hotels, which were more expensive and had no beach, rainforest, etc.!
I was there once and wanted to spend a weekend in a lodge from Berlin. Was it the difference in climate, was it the knowledge of being in a closed hall, I don't know, I completely collapsed mentally and circulatorily and just wanted to get out. Since then I've been there twice for just a few hours because I had guests. That worked, but I was happy when I had the sky above me again. This may be very personal. Technically, I find the thing quite exciting, viewed from the outside. But there remains a bit of ecological madness.
The hangar was built by the Cargolifter project in 2000, which aimed at building cargo airships able to pick up up to 160 tons of cargo and transport it to another continent. The idea was backed by the VDMA, the German Mechanical Engineering Industry Association, which planned to replace oversized load transports by street, ship and railway by airships, e.g. to transport turbines for hydropower plants to remote areas without good infrastructure e.g in India or South America or e.g. complete forming presses for car body sheets. But mainly due to bad project management as well as bad communication of technical problems the CargoLifter company had to announce insolvency in 2002 without having built a single airship - only a test platform for the "AirCrane" (to lift cargo from ground without having to land) and a flyable prototype model built to scale 1:8 (piloted by remote).
Helgoland & Nruwerk The best on Neuwerk Isle is, you can travel to it by FEET ! But you can walk back not on the same day, must wait on the next day when the water will gone again. Oh and importent thing ist only folloy the "witchbroom"way cos that is the savest way ! ^^
Yeah, Americans can just fly to Florida or Hawaii to get palm trees and beaches... Germans instead do what we can do best and find an ENGINEERING solution by BUILDING the tropical beach INSIDE a building XD
my nephew who lives in berlin went there for his birthday with his girlfriend. its free on your birthday afaik. i want to go there too but didnt manage yet....

I love teaching and I am very happy to see someone wanting to learn new stuff on the internet. Keep going. Having knowledge never hurts.

I've gone there every 1-2 years since i am 5. i've always stayed one or two nights and enjoyed it every time.
How expensive is it? Where is it and how is the name of it? 😂❤
The name is literally "Tropical Islands." It's located near Berlin and the price depends on what you book: tent, luxury tent etc.

Das macht er für neue zuschauer. Damit die wissen, dass er sowas öfter macht, sodass sie ihn abonnieren.
