- The Golden Hind Tour steams through Devon on July 11th 2024.
Passing through Exeter St David's before stopping at Newton Abbot for water top-up. Carrying on shortly after through Totnes and on to Plymouth.
The train returns later in the evening after being delayed an hour at Laira, with the return 1Z95 being headed by Class 47 'Crewe Diesel Depot' with 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley' being pulled in reverse.
There were so many delays due to signalling issues, wasn't just the railtour that was late running, almost every service was having problems.
