Thank you for pointing out the LOMO bag as a tail pack it fits perfeectly, these seem to be the "crashbar" bags so i bought a pair but they are such great value I dont mind having a spare. I often go out without waterproofs and get caught in rain so the pack is perfect for them and puncture repair kit. BTW great channel :-)
I started using a plug kit called Dynaplug.. super slick!! I was remote and hit 2 nails.. 1,000 miles later and was holding solid… it’s very fast and just another option… The little screw plug makes great sense!!💯👍🏽
I got the Rocky Creek 4-1 tyre repair tool that has 4 glueless galvanized tyre plugs & the Rocky Creek Rechargeable Mini air compressor but I like those mushroom plugs.
@@billy4rocks Type in Rocky Creek Tyre repair tool on TH-cam there's a video about it & there's another video on the mini rechargeable air compressor. Motobatt also do a Rechargeable mini air compressor & a battery jump starter in one but don't know if it's any good or not.
Hi Billy, I also use a very similar kit here in Brazil. As an air compressor, I use a Xiaomi battery-powered one, which is very practical, but it cannot be left in the sun like yours, as it has a battery and the risk of exploding is high. I still prefer compressors like yours, which don't have batteries. One thing that helps me a lot is using a generic TPMS sensor sold on aliexpress, it is battery-charged and can be removed and installed easily. It helps me a lot to identify when the tire is flat, or even problems with the tire inflation valve (it has a configurable alarm to warn when the tire is deflating). I don't remember if your GS 1200 has an original BMW TPMS, but if it doesn't, I highly recommend this accessory, it's very cheap and helps a lot in everyday life. Greetings from Brazil
Hey, Brazil man…it blows my mind that im on someone’s tv over there.. 🇧🇷🇧🇷 crazy, anyway, yeah my Gs has the tpms fitted as standard, really handy things to have. Thanks for watching.
What I've found out by mistake I think, is I used to get a puncture at least once a year on my bikes riding into Westminster everyday and I change one of my bikes to a triumph scrambler fitted with quite aggressive off road tyres, I haven't had a puncture since, they are harder and more resistant to the casual nail or screw which blight our path so I'm going to fit similar 50/50 tyres to my adventure bike too.. bonus is also being quite hard the stiff sidewalls allow you to ride ,up to a point, with a flat. They're cheaper too and last longer.
@@billy4rocks , seriously they are absolutely fine, neither of us ride like loons on wet greasy roads and I've certainly never had 'a moment '. Tyre technology has vastly improved in recent years..I was sceptical at first but now I'm a super fan whether they are Mitas 07+ or the Heidenau k60 (which I have) Dunlop missions trailmax or continental TKC70 Rocks , they're all very highly rated on road as well as off.
Hey Billy! Thanks for reviewing us in your video! Great to see our tire repair out in the wild working well for fellow riders.
No worries, its got me out of trouble many time. Cheers.

No problem, Yeah there the crash-bar bags, but can pretty much go anywhere where there are adequate mounting points. Thanks dude. 🙏
Have been using a similare system for years, both motorcycle and car, and it works like a dream. Easy fix along the road side.

My Anakee’s are noisy too 😢
I also carry a leatherman. So handy having all the tools in one small hand tool 👍🏼
