You love the LORD for all He has done for you right? If a man thought he was smarter then God, and had so much pride he openly corrected God's words would you 1) think that man loved the LORD? 2) would you put ANY value or belief in anything that man had to say in relation about God or His word?
BC the devil that runs this channel has a video from 9 years ago where he openly says John 6:4 should be erased from the Bible. This man thinks himself smarter than God. So prideful and so much smarted he would correct God's book for Him. If God can't protect his WORDS and a person has no faith in God to keep His promise to protect it. Why would you believe this man has faith in salvation of the blood of Jesus Christ the LORD? How could this man claim faith God could save him when he doesn't believe God can even keep his own words from corruption?
Love is that we keep His Law, the Ten Commandments, which is what love is (2 Jn. 1:6), which is how we love Him (Jn.14:15) and others, which is how we know Him (1 Jn. 2:3-4), and how we know if one is truly born again of the Holy Spirit.

But still we're under His Law, the Ten Commandments, even as Jesus said, "Think not that I am come to destroy the Law or the prophets, I am not come to destroy..." (Matt. 5:17). You need to understand scripture refers to two main laws 1) the Ten Commandments and 2) the Mosaic Law, which is that law He took out of the way, nailing it to His Cross. The Mosaic Law was His grace then, for breaking His Law, which is how He made atonement for their sins then. The grace we're under today is by His testimony, and the purpose of His testimony is to make it possible for us to keep His Law, which we do by the power and help of the Holy Spirit.

Taken in context, the repentance John the Baptist was calling for was not a detectable change in people's lives, it was a change in their hearts. The Holy Spirit was coming upon the world through Christ. These people were awakened by the Holy Spirit to the arrival of the Messiah. These people's hearts were ready to receive His message. These were the people who came and followed Christ around to listen to His words. These people were awakened by the Holy Spirit, they were participating in a repentance that called for a departure from living under the law of Moses to a law based on faith and the moving of the Holy Spirit in their hearts. Consider these words... 'your righteousness must exceed that of the Pharisees and scribes', 'I am the bread of life', 'I have water to give you that you may never thirst again', 'seek ye first the kingdom of God', 'upon this rock I will build my church', 'it is the holy spirit that has revealed this to you'. I applaud your summary explanation of the Tanakh as it relates to the Lord Jesus, and the importance of understanding the Jewish backdrop and OT references of many things that He spoke to the Jewish people then. However, the commission to "repent, for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand" is universal to both Gentile and Jew alike. The Gospel messages is universal, as well. This is confirmed countless times in the Old and New Testaments. The insistence of having a deep "Hebrew Roots" understanding, which I've heard from this camp a lot over the years (8:00m mark) - is where I couldn't continue listening anymore. When we all stand before God at the judgment, the ultimate question will be "What did you do with Jesus?" or by consequence "Is your name written in the Lamb's Book of Life?" End of story. I heard it described as a husband confessing to his wife he has had an affair and promises its over, she decides to forgive him as long as he shows it by his behavior (entering into a covenant) by; never talking to the other women again, making his wife a priority and showing sincere mighty regret. Yet most Church circles act like this is repentance: Approaching his wife, with his mistress in his arms. He 'confesses' his sin and says he can't help it as its his sinful nature (Augustine) and he will continue to be having the affair but because he confessed his sin, he insists his wife forgives his ongoing sin. This is obviously absurd but that is how most of the evangelical community act with 'repentance' towards God!!

When we actually do give up our selfish will to His will, He starts a remodeling in us or l should say He starts a new good work in us until we die or He comes for us. “If you LOVE ME you we’ll follow My commands.” It’s the LOVE He gives us that causes that obedience. The love causes it and obedience bares its witness Unless we actually LOVE Him, there is no hunger or desire fueling that
We all need to repent daily. Why? Because though we are born-again, there are many situations that hurt and offend us, therefore, we still have many flaws, and we can easily fall into sin. There are also sins of ignorance, idols of the heart, wrong beliefs and doctrines, unaddressed sins, spiritual carelessness, lukewarmness, spiritual apathy, slumber, neglecting God's Word, not being vigilant enough, not continue to seek godly truth. We should constantly realign our thoughts, intentions, and motivations with the way God thinks and acts. WE STLL NEED TO ATTEND TO THE PURIFICATION OF OUR SOULS.

It wasn't until i was starting my 5th time through the good book, that i started to understand what it said, and that was just starting to understand. Ive now read it dozens of times, and still haven't come to understand all it has to teach. But I do feel closer to God each time i read through. and i can say, if you don't read the Old Testament, it is much harder to understand the New. Just keep reading.

I am more well versed in the Torah and Old testament and I had to catch up on the New testament to understand all the fulfillments of everything laid out in the old. All churches say what they preach. The problem is the interpretation they are using. I was a Catholics but I didn't like some interpretation they think is true. I'm not a Protestant because of the same issue I had with the Catholic church, each one has its own interpretation. So now I'm a follower of Jesus the Christ.
I brought his videos and CDs to South Africa 20 years ago - christians warched and agreed they were wrong about the paganism in their church, BUT said they got used to the celebrations and brought up their children this way, so they will not give it up... You see, Teshuva= returning to God's standard if truth = as written in the תנך = old testiment and forsaking added "fun" traditions. A lot of food coloring, taste enhancers, sweeteners etc- are poisoning the bodies...once we hear the truth - its up to us to say NO and Return to the "simple" foods. But, most people prefer to go to the pharmacy and take more medication for their bad health symptoms, instead of dealing with the source. We must be honest and ask God to GIVE US a repentant heart = T'shuva- transform our hearts and minds, as we are ADDICTED to sin by nature. What happens most times is wrong teachings that enable us to stay in sin, and we end up only saying we are sorry or silencing our conscious! Just like eating junk and taking a pill for it, or getting pregnant and aborting the un seen child... Its not becoming religious but having the awareness of integrity. I keep asking my children:" what have you "given up" for God's love, that made you feel you lost on life- Sweets on Halloween?! Un kosher foods?! Un Godly behaviour?! God has kept you more and gave up more than you will ever feel you gave up on, for him." When we do the math, we discover how selfish and un loving God we truly are - most of what we do is for us to feel good about ourselves...really. Most of us dont live in a country that will persecute us for truth sake! Church meetings have become mostly a social event that mentions God and promptly ends so we can "go back to our "real" lives..." Personally, i dont know how we expect Mashiah ( Messiah) to come back...if he comes, he will come down as Moses has- God told him to HURRY GO DOWN because the people have corrupted their ways..."! Look at our ways! As the Israelites, so have we gave up on expecting HIM to return...! Shabbat Shalom to all who remember the 7th day as His day of rest!
You said most have given up on His return and in a very real way you are right. If you look at the parable of the 10 virgins you see that all 10 are asleep and have to be woken up when the lord returns. Even the 5 wise virgins have fallen asleep. It has been so long and there have been so many times teachers claimed His coming in imminent and been proven wrong that people have become jaded. But fear not since there is a wake up call coming. We can only speculate what it will be but just as your alarm going off to wake you up in the morning there will be no doubt why. So what's the difference between the wise and foolish virgins? The wise heeded the Lord's warnings in His word and prepared to make it through the long night. They knew they would have to face the tribulation and great tribulation and they had gathered the means for their survival in advance. The foolish virgins ignored the warnings and went on enjoying their lives while the wise suffered and labored to prepare then expected the wise to provide for them when their lamps ran out. This is a great evil in the church Today and according to the parable half of Christians are guilty of it.
For any having doubts about giving up "religious" days, it must be said that the days God commanded his people to come together--the high holy days--are so much more meaningful than trees and eggs. When studying about each of the high holy days, you'll find out so much more about God and His intentions for those that follow His commands. It's a wonderful and amazing tapestry illustrating the vastness of His love for people which is likely just a sample that our limited human minds can comprehend. It's easy to give up zirconia "jewels" or imitation gold jewelry if you can have the real thing. The same thing applies here. Once you have a taste of the real thing, the other "religious" holidays don't matter all that much.

If you are saved and filled with The Holy Spirit, Jesus has promised to bring all things to your rememberance... If you regard the Bible as the inerrant, infallible, inspired Word of God, your attempts to teach Bible right will no doubt be far superior to the steady diet of every variety of lie the world around teaches. I once got pushed off a board because I felt that having a dozen seminary interns on a campus for a year would be better than rushing to have only one, salaried campus minister. Somehow there was fear of bad doctrine based on... well, fear... as if a full time salary was some kind of a ward against heresy lol

Well that's not true, God changed his mind about Ninivah, he said David was a man after his own heart, but punished the people because of David's sin with the wife of the soldier of his army, so you see God does change his mind some times.

God's 10 Commandments are the COMPLETE instructions for all loving thoughts, words, and deeds. They are rightly called ... the 10 LOVE Commandments. They each contain a DO NOT and a DO side, and when FULLY understood, they cover all love when obeyed.

The thing John the Baptist said in introducing Jesus was ‘I baptise with water, but one is coming who baptises with the Holy Spirit’. This baptism of the Holy Spirit is the Shechinah of Jewish literature and the baptism the high priests officiating at the Solomon Temple experienced (1 Kings 9:11 and 2 Chronicles 5:14). It is our birthright as Jews or believing Gentiles under the New Covenant, but had been lost it seems in the post exilic period. Once the domain of a select few, then available to many - now sadly, a mystery again to most.
You must have not read other books of the bible "Judges, Kings, Malachi and the rest" which talk of the Jews continuously worshiping idols, giving blemished sacrifices in the Temple, not doing what was instructed in the Torah. You need to understand scripture refers to two main laws 1) the Ten Commandments and 2) the Mosaic Law, which is that law He took out of the way, nailing it to His Cross.
The Mosaic Law was His grace then, for breaking His Law, which is how He made atonement for their sins then. The grace we're under today is by His testimony, and the purpose of His testimony is to make it possible for us to keep His Law, which we do by the power and help of the Holy Spirit.

I don’t understand why people look at man and find fault. Because man is not perfect and fault can always be found. I ignore the mud slingers and focus on Yeshua. Skip the internet research of Rood. These people were awakened by the Holy Spirit, they were participating in a repentance that called for a departure from living under the law of Moses to a law based on faith and the moving of the Holy Spirit in their hearts. I applaud your summary explanation of the Tanakh as it relates to the Lord Jesus, and the importance of understanding the Jewish backdrop and OT references of many things that He spoke to the Jewish people then. However, the commission to "repent, for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand" is universal to both Gentile and Jew alike. The Gospel messages is universal, as well. This is confirmed countless times in the Old and New Testaments. The insistence of having a deep "Hebrew Roots" understanding, which I've heard from this camp a lot over the years (8:00m mark) - is where I couldn't continue listening anymore.

I heard it described as a husband confessing to his wife he has had an affair and promises its over, she decides to forgive him as long as he shows it by his behavior (entering into a covenant) by; never talking to the other women again, making his wife a priority and showing sincere mighty regret. Yet most Church circles act like this is repentance: Approaching his wife, with his mistress in his arms. He 'confesses' his sin and says he can't help it as its his sinful nature (Augustine) and he will continue to be having the affair but because he confessed his sin, he insists his wife forgives his ongoing sin. This is obviously absurd but that is how most of the evangelical community act with 'repentance' towards God!!

We all need to repent daily. Why? Because though we are born-again, there are many situations that hurt and offend us, therefore, we still have many flaws, and we can easily fall into sin. There are also sins of ignorance, idols of the heart, wrong beliefs and doctrines, unaddressed sins, spiritual carelessness, lukewarmness, spiritual apathy, slumber, neglecting God's Word, not being vigilant enough, not continue to seek godly truth. We should constantly realign our thoughts, intentions, and motivations with the way God thinks and acts. WE STLL NEED TO ATTEND TO THE PURIFICATION OF OUR SOULS.
Do you know what you sound like? You sound like a person in a close walk with Jesus on the victory path to His kingdom! Amen, sister. I think about these things too. Sometimes it isn't an identifiable sin, but a question of whether time could have been spent better. Sometimes it isn't what you do, but what you neglected to do. It wasn't until i was starting my 5th time through the good book, that i started to understand what it said, and that was just starting to understand. Ive now read it dozens of times, and still haven't come to understand all it has to teach. But I do feel closer to God each time i read through. and i can say, if you don't read the Old Testament, it is much harder to understand the New. Just keep reading.

You said most have given up on His return and in a very real way you are right. If you look at the parable of the 10 virgins you see that all 10 are asleep and have to be woken up when the lord returns. Even the 5 wise virgins have fallen asleep. It has been so long and there have been so many times teachers claimed His coming in imminent and been proven wrong that people have become jaded. But fear not since there is a wake up call coming. We can only speculate what it will be but just as your alarm going off to wake you up in the morning there will be no doubt why. So what's the difference between the wise and foolish virgins? The wise heeded the Lord's warnings in His word and prepared to make it through the long night. They knew they would have to face the tribulation and great tribulation and they had gathered the means for their survival in advance. The foolish virgins ignored the warnings and went on enjoying their lives while the wise suffered and labored to prepare then expected the wise to provide for them when their lamps ran out. This is a great evil in the church Today and according to the parable half of Christians are guilty of it.
For any having doubts about giving up "religious" days, it must be said that the days God commanded his people to come together--the high holy days--are so much more meaningful than trees and eggs. When studying about each of the high holy days, you'll find out so much more about God and His intentions for those that follow His commands. It's a wonderful and amazing tapestry illustrating the vastness of His love for people which is likely just a sample that our limited human minds can comprehend.
It's easy to give up zirconia "jewels" or imitation gold jewelry if you can have the real thing. The same thing applies here. Once you have a taste of the real thing, the other "religious" holidays don't matter all that much.

Luke 3:1-22 is where we read the ministry of John the baptist and his call to repentance.

This creation is in borrowed time as I said, and the clock is ticking against him. When the time comes, the "owner" will come and kick the door to collect what is His.
This is the reason the Devil is called lord of the material stuff (He actually is the creator of this material universe) and this is the reason why Jesus Christ told us to NEVER accumulate material goods. It's like showing that we prefer the world of Satan-YHWH instead of the Kingdom of Heavens.

PAUL then tells the churches to listen to HIM: " I am an Israelites from the tribe of Benjamin......" Paul never mentions he is a Jew: but from the original wild, old, Olive tree of ISAAC and Abraham....... and his credentials prove that these imposters are not of Christ: but of the synagogue of Satan...... taking the congregation back to the OLD WINE of the flesh!
This is then proven by the fact that "Jacob's Trouble" will come to those that are NOT in Christ: even though many come from their father Abraham: but now a FIG TREE not bearing fruit!

Abrahams response IS "God will provide HIMSELF a lamb”! This is where and how Abraham didn't hold back from giving the Lord his son....... because he cannot Break that unconditional contract: or HE will be CUT OFF and the restoration of the SONS of God would be no more as it has to come through the BIRTHRIGHT from Adam to Seth all the way up to Noah Shem etc to where Abraham is hidden in a cave away from Nimrod to survive the slaughter of young boys....
I should have made that plain: Jesus then comes through the seed of ISAAC only and restoration begins: even as many after the Lord's death die: they totally understand the LOST SHEEP of ISRAEL come through Isaac and NOT from the 7 other sons of Abraham!
Therefore being RESTORED from DEAD BONES: Abraham and Sarah are the 1st resurrection to bring in that precious "Son of God" that will eventually pay the price of death to restore mankind back to the LORD!
The "Leaven" Then comes from the Jews not understanding the "Unconditional Covent through Isaac!"

The thing John the Baptist said in introducing Jesus was ‘I baptise with water, but one is coming who baptises with the Holy Spirit’. This baptism of the Holy Spirit is the Shechinah of Jewish literature and the baptism the high priests officiating at the Solomon Temple experienced (1 Kings 9:11 and 2 Chronicles 5:14). It is our birthright as Jews or believing Gentiles under the New Covenant, but had been lost it seems in the post exilic period. Once the domain of a select few, then available to many - now sadly, a mystery again to most.

You must have not read other books of the bible "Judges, Kings, Malachi and the rest" which talk of the Jews continuously worshiping idols, giving blemished sacrifices in the Temple, not doing what was instructed in the Torah. Even when Jesus told the Pharasees and Saducees he was the Messiah and raised a Lazarus four days after he died, they still rejected him ! The fact that in the Synagogues today they will not read Isaiah 53 because it tells them of what they are guilty of and there need for repentance.
A 180 degree change of direction. It is obvious that the teacher is secretly still a Jew wanting to undermine our simple faith in Christ by instilling doubts into the life of believers citing our lack of knowledge of Hebrew
