I personally will always remember her for just one role . This being the Good Life television 📺 series. But best to be remembered for something, then nothing at all !.......
I fell in love with her in the 70s and it just gets stronger every year. I would love to hear her create audio books. Stephen fry fid a great job with harry potter series
Felicity is a lovely lady, she was gracious when she posed with me for a photograph after Noises Off! She smiled when I told her that my sister remembers her from her attendances at Loreto House in Calcutta. Tom Stoppard too had a strong connection to India.
A very talented lady of stage and screen, Bit surprised however that you never mentioned Rosemary and Tyme a tv series she did in the early 2000s, alonside Pam Ferris..........
Older pics indicate she has had work done, regardless of what age we think she looks. As for her appeal, shes a very very good actress which is what counts IMO. It is so irritating to hear presenters tell celebs who have clearly had enhancement surgery ‘you look amazing’ when they should be complementing their cosmetic surgeon.
@@BumbleBee666-u5t I agree. I’m 72 and have never had any plastic surgery for reasons given below. My photo was taken a year ago. My skin creates hypertrophic scars and I have a few on my face from the removal of several basal cell carcinomas by a plastic surgeon who specialises in burns patients. These doctors do wonderful restorative work for victims of fire, car accidents etc. which aren’t publicised. I have the genetic connective tissue disorder Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and it’s known to create hypertrophic or keloid scarring. It also confers facial skin that looks 10-15 years younger than normal. The healthier version of hEDS is Joint Hypermobility Syndrome, so there are many people in show business, athletics, modelling, etc. with JHS who don’t actually have plastic surgery because of the scarring issue. I saw an interview years ago where Debbie Reynolds said she’d never had plastic surgery as she comes from a family that has a history of keloid scarring. To help people recognise our features, many of us have a face shaped like an inverted triangle, with wide-apart eyes and a small or distinct chin. Some others have a longer proportion of the middle third of the face, i.e. between eyes and mouth. We often have adverse reactions to general anaesthesia. (Michael Jackson died from the same anaesthetic that I was given a few years earlier for breast cancer surgery. I lost 70% of my working (short-term) memory which was confirmed by neuro-psychological testing. I was medically retired at 48 and lost a lot of the compound interest that accrues normally in your last seven years of employment. It’s a risk that doesn’t appear in the media every day. I have no negative impression of people who want to look as good as they can for professional reasons - or just to feel better about removing a certain birthmark or something like that. I wanted to let other people know about my experience as hEDS or JHS are rather under-diagnosed in society. If anyone has a child who has anaphylactic shocks due to peanut butter, bee stings and similar substances, please know that anaesthetists have the option of giving adjuvant oxygen via a nose mask along with the standard injection in your arm. The oxygen protects the brain and I’ve had several wonderful instances of brain clarity afterwards due to this technique. I’ve found though that delivery of oxygen via a throat tube doesn’t work for me. I hope this information may be helpful to you and any readers who’d like to pass it on to others. 🤗
Still as adorable as ever. I watched 'Anything Goes' - starring Sutton Foster - on TH-cam a couple of years back, but was unable to save it. The entire performance has gone but fortunately there are still a few clips available.
Positive attitude, definitely. I used to love the GOOD LIFE. It was so simply funny. We can't say her life was lucky. We are presented with a succession of situations, and it is up to us to make either that lemonade or a delicious juice. With a personality like hers, she brought luck on herself, and a lot of pleasure to us. 😇
In 1992 we were in Heathrow airport my baby daughter was sitting on my knee ,I realised she was sitting a couple of seats away from me with her little boy Charlie .I remember being envious when she had Charlie but I eventually had my daughter soon after .I wished I had the nerve to chat with her .
I think you are right. Don't think she had any surgery, maybe a little botox, but not much, might of tried it.but what she is is an attractive older woman, as she was an attractive young woman, and attractive middle aged woman. We all fell in love with Felicity kendal, or were we in love with Barbara Good.
These programs, narrated by Americans, are not worth listening to. Those of us who love British tv programs/ theatre know all this stuff. Why would Americans care ?
No I disagree. Try something known to our grandmothers a century ago, Pure Castor Oil. I am almost 85 years and have looked after my skin with castor oil for years now.
And many didn't...while I enjoyed the show...I thought her character would have driven me nuts if she were my wife...mind you my then wife did drive me nuts! 😭
why can't peaple just accept the aging process, a good skincare routine does wonders, I'd rather peaple complemented me because I have looked after my skin, you cannot get rid of the fine lines but with a good facial skincare routine you can certainly delay them.
😊very nice lady who has kept her figure and looks very neat. Very attractive, but no classic beauty who looks her age, despite extensive work and there is nothing wrong with that. Her appeal was always her sweet cuteness and not beauty, she would likely be the first to acknowledge that.
I also loved her in Rosemary and Thyme ❤️❤️❤️
loved that too.
She's very pretty even at 78 , just lovely 😍
Looking good at 78.A very beautiful lady, and talented actress!
Omg at 78 she is still beautiful
She was and still is a beautiful and extremely talented lady.
I totally agree with you. She always was and always will be a beautiful, lovely and sexy lady. She'll always be my pin up girl ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I personally will always remember her for just one role . This being the Good Life television 📺 series. But best to be remembered for something, then nothing at all !.......

Lovely series, I have these on DVD wonderful to watch.
The Good Life, when television was brilliant.
It’s the voice, her accent and intonation is faultless, that’s why she will always be attractive in the real sense of the word. She’s an icon 💫💫
Felicity is a lovely lady, she was gracious when she posed with me for a photograph after Noises Off! She smiled when I told her that my sister remembers her from her attendances at Loreto House in Calcutta. Tom Stoppard too had a strong connection to India.
She looks great with a little work
FOREVER BEAUTIFUL !!!
She is still beautiful even at her age
The Jennifer Anniston,Sandra Bullock of her day.
Still a beautiful,graceful lady.
Fabulous hair. Her round face keeps her looking young.
She's as beautiful as ever
She looks great!
This was a terrific presentation. ❤❤❤ thank you
She looks good but definitely had work done ….being nice and slim really helps as well 🎉
Same age as I
How exciting!
She‘s the Sally Field of the UK❤
One of my favourite lady's actresses of all time and looking pretty as ever ❤❤❤❤, 🎈 🎈 xxxx,
The most beautiful woman I've ever seen 😍
An ardent fan of Kendal for over fifty years; the idiom that, 'Good things come in small packages..' is as true today as it ever was 🙂
A very talented lady of stage and screen, Bit surprised however that you never mentioned Rosemary and Tyme a tv series she did in the early 2000s, alonside Pam Ferris..........
Age defying? I think it's actually called plastic surgery!
I'm not sure ... she has good bone structure.
@hilaryhoye8087 It's definitely plastic surgery!
No it’s not plastic surgery. Actually I don’t think she looks young, she looks every day of her age. IMO.
Older pics indicate she has had work done, regardless of what age we think she looks. As for her appeal, shes a very very good actress which is what counts IMO. An amazing beautiful lady
I don't understand why people word the video like this? Everyone gets old that's the celebration for living a long life and not dieing young.
Felicity n good life a true energy........food exercise good natural food.No makeup clear face

Yup ... They call it 'having work done' !
Felicity❤
She just had that cute look about her.say if im out of order but she looked better with age.
She is still pretty
Sorry i disagree I think she definitely looks her age which is lovely, just natural.
I think you are right. She was on Doctor Who in the 00s.
How many State Schools take their pupils to the Matinee Theatre Production for the wonderful and never to be forgotten experience. I would guess - 0.
When I saw on BBC'c Ludwig. I had to check the case. She looks so young.
Once a lady, always a lady
In the seventies many men considered her the perfect wife.
I believe she won "Rear of the Year" at least once?
And many didn't...while I enjoyed the show...I thought her character would have driven me nuts if she were my wife...mind you my then wife did drive me nuts! 😭
I think she looks like that because she’s had a fair bit of work done, not because of anything else, although she’s slim which helps.
She's great but she's had work done sorry.
I hope someone's around with a camera when you are 78
Good plastic surgeon
"Age defying"????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best flirter ever...
Botox.

I love every wrinkle. Much better than women who like they are being sucked through a wind tunnel
Had a few over her when i was a lad
😊very nice lady who has kept her figure and looks very neat. Very attractive, but no classic beauty who looks her age, despite extensive work and there is nothing wrong with that. Her appeal was always her sweet cuteness and not beauty, she would likely be the first to acknowledge that.
Botox
Back on the fillers.
Loved her in Rosemary and Thyme!
