I went to an outdoor concert once and there was this annoying groupie hanging out around the stage. There was a young boy behind me with his dad. And this groupie was SO INAPPROPRIATE with this kid, pawing him, making weird comments about how handsome he is, all while his dad is *right there* and just laughing like it's amusing. I was gobsmacked. The poor kid was clearly so uncomfortable and eventually he just asked to leave.
Would this same dad think it was funny if some older man came over and acted that way with his very young daughter? I doubt it. But I genuinely don't understand why he didn't see it when it came to his son. I'm a random stranger and I could see how bad her behaviour was and how creeped out the boy felt, but dad was just chortling along with her.
      Just WTF.

The memories would hit me, and i couldn't cope with them. The shame, anger, and hurt. Nobody should ever have to go through it. Now, it's the people we are required by law to allow around our kids. If your children dont get an education, you look bad. Between this and all the "shewtings," it's hard to want to send your kids there.
