Very good job caring your pets Hailey. Although i think u should have a emergency kit of ur emergengy kit, just imagine an earthquake could destroy ur supplies. So be prepared for all situations.
I really might get a rabbit and I've been watching your videos for tips and they have been SO SO SO HELPFUL! They help me so much because I need the information to write down for if I actually get one. I really admire your videos and how you can fit so much info into 1 video for all of us to write down. THANK YOU!!!
@@thequeerbee2026 oh? sorry I forgot that but my friend has one bunny and it lives alone amazingly but thank you for reminding me! her bunny is sick because she is away right now and she doesn't have anyone to watch it and she will get a new one is it passes away but I'll tell her that :)
So I've followed you and service angel percie for years. I've been following Luca's training and found his Instagram. I saw you and was like omg I didn't realize you were getting a service dog through service angel percie. I'm so happy for you. My boy has changed my life.
Tech over here! Love your videos! The pink needles are bigger so it'll allow for more sub q fluids to flow through therefore letting you do it faster. Its easier to push on the plunger as well. The smaller ones r for injections probably because the bigger needles just aren't necessary for that specifically. Smaller needles r typically used for rabbits for their thin skin and babies
Bag Balm is SO good for animals when they are always on their feet. So for dogs, you'd put it on their foot pads or nose to prevent cracking or dry skin. It is used for rabbits too on their sore hocks. I used to use it for my rabbit when he had mild sore hocks and it was really good for him. I love your little kitchen clinic idea though. I currently have a bin that I store all of my medicines and other health things for my bunny that I lug out everyday to do medicine stuff. It's not as organized as I wish it to be...
When my 9year old lion head had a severe case of sorehocks I had to use bandage, it is recommend having them on hand even if they sit for a long time unused it was so stressful to have to go get them knowing he was sitting at home in discomfort
Hi Hailey, I’ve been wanting a rabbit for 6 years and have been watching your videos for almost as long. Recently I got the news that I am allowed to get one and I am SO EXCITED. Thank you for all your amazing tips it will help me become a better owner to my future darling. I’M GETTING A RABBIT. IM ON CLOUD 9! 🎉 Also, for all those who already have one, I’d love to hear any tips that will help me. Just thought I’d share this!
OMG CONGRATS! I wrote this list of how to save money on rabbit materials a while ago, so I hope you won’t mind if I share it :) Rabbit carrier- you can save money on a carrier by purchasing one from a website like Craigslist, just making sure it isn’t defective in anyway so that in the small chance you get into an accident, your rabbit isn’t hurt. Hay- you can buy hay from a local farmer, just making sure it’s marked meadow hay or Timothy hay. Also, make sure the quality of the hay is good, that it emits a good odor, that the hay is mostly green, and is free of any bugs. If you can’t find a farmer in your local area, or if they don’t have good quality hay, you can go to your local Tractor Supply, I got 50 pounds of good quality Timothy Hay for $20. If you don’t have a Tractor Supply near you, you can buy 75 pounds of Timothy or meadow hay off of Small Pet Select, for about $75, which may be too much for your rabbit or rabbits to consume. If that’s the case, you can buy 50 pounds of Timothy or meadow hay from Oxbow, I think you can get it from Chewy or PetSmart or Petco. Water and food bowls- you can get some ceramic bowls from the dollar store or the 99 cents store, or if you want something more personalized for your rabbit(s), you can look on Craigslist or your local pet group, like on Facebook. Keep a note that the best kind of bowls are stainless steel bowls, because they help keep a sterile environment where germs can’t harbor in the water. Litter box- if you wouldn’t mind having an uncovered litter box, you can buy a dish pan from a place such as Walmart, just make sure the dimensions are about 2’ x 1’, or 36 cm by 72 cm, and that it doesn’t have wire on the bottom of it. Veggies- you can buy produce from your local farmer, but honestly it’s better to not cheap out on vegetables, as buying cheap produce might cause a not so cheap bet bill later! Play pen- you can look on a Craigslist or your local pet group for any dog play pens for sale. Make sure that they’re over 36 inches, or about 90 cm tall, however. If you can’t find one here, you can always look at Walmart or Amazon to find one for less than $50. Bunny proofing supplies- you can look at your local office store, but honestly it’s usually cheaper on Amazon. Grooming supplies- you can buy a flea comb, and use Lennon the Bunny’s Hairbuster hack to improve it so that it takes out the max amount of hair possible. For nail clippers, you can buy some cat clippers off of Amazon for about $4, or you can go to your local pet store to go buy some. Toys- you can make toys out of cardboard tubes or boxes! There are tons of tutorials on TH-cam. Also, make sure the box that you’re using doesn’t have cleaners on it, because it’s better safe than sorry. First aid kit- you can buy an already completed first aid kit off of Amazon, with gauze pads, styptic powder, syringes and all, or you could look on your local Craigslist to see if anyone’s selling one for a lower price. It’s better to have one, however, for non-life-threatening injuries or to soothe trips to the vet. Litter- you can always use shredded paper as litter, but the average person doesn’t have a enough paper to use as rabbit litter. You can use hardwood pellets as litter, or if your rabbit is prone to sore hocks, you can use Aspen shavings, and you can buy them from Walmart or your local Tractor Supply. Just make sure not to use Cedar or Pine shaving, or it could cause respiratory infections/damage.
Congratulations!!! I will always highly recommend Chewy. Not everything on there is safe, but for the most part if you take a close look at what you're buying, their products are amazing! You may not have a farmer in town to buy hay from and Chewy's hay(especially Oxbow hay) is fantastic quality and reasonably affordable. They generally have low prices and the shipping is really fast so if you ever need something in a pinch, it's awesome! I'm guessing most people already know all this, but I always thought it was a site for cats and dogs and not rabbits too. I don't know if this will help but just thought I'd mention it.
Talk alot to your new rabbit. They live that and it will help tame them and bond them to you. Don't swoop down from above, or reach for them quickly- as prey animals, that alarms them. Don't name them Oreo or Luna- 90% of pets have that name, lol. You're so lucky!
I use a deodorizing spray in my car for my service dog. Sometimes between baths we don’t smell amazing. I have a lab who gets dry skin in the winter so I try not to bathe him often
I know I had some of those syringes full of saline because when I was younger I had stage 4 tissue sarcoma and I still had some left and my mom piss me off cuz she threw them away I've seen a freaking dump them out and I said we could use those but thank God I survived it I was diagnosed until 5 and you know what 2020-23 now I've been remiss in since 2009 like I think

He might be in pain. Rabbits only "box" out of fear. Maybe you hurt him last time you picked him up? Has he had a change in his routine or in the household? This is very concerning!
Well I’ve been starting to kind of pick him up A lot , when I took a piece of carpet out my bunny’s mouth he grunted at me , I’m not sure if he’s being sassy or aggressive ? Whenever I’d take carpet out his mouth he would never bite me , keep in mind he is not fixed yet
