the only problem is the price, especially compare it to the competition in my opinion it should be 1.3m for the top of the line and 1.189 for the base variant. when comparing it others in the segment Creta: Mid 1.2m TOTL 1.3m Yaris Cross base 1.2m mid 1.3m Corolla Cross G hybrid (yeah segment higher but its same price range) Base 1.5m HRV Base 1.3m Mid 1.6m if you compare the prices, the price of X-force seems out of place, considering the base variant which is 1.3m doesnt not have ADAS, but maybe that just me
XForce has more Pros than Yaris Cross. The only downside is the price. Other features is not important if youre looking a car that can bring you from Point A to Point B. But for my personal preference I choose Yaris Cross because of higher ground clearance. Its the reason why I replaced my Mazda 2 which its more comfy and good quality on road trip than my Yaris Cross even though its almost 10 years na yun. Pero limited lang talaga ang places na mapuntahan ko sa mazda 2 kasi mababa talaga ang ground clearance. And also my garage is so small kaya kaysa talaga ang Yaris ko.
Yamaha and Civic's Bose would be closely tied subjectively speaking. The CX-30's (and Mazda 3's) implementation is better to our ears since the overall interior and even the materials used were taken into account when designing the Bose sound system.
The XForce is a really good car in my opinion. You've got enough power to get you from a to b (listen, not everyone needs a turbocharged engine), a very spacious interior with a good amount of storage at the back, those 4 drive modes, the information overload in the infotainment system, and the Yamaha sound system. In my opinion there are only 3 flaws with the XForce. Firstly is with its features ADAS systems, sure you've got all of those features on the TOTL like ACC, but in my opinion the one thing they shouldve added was a 360-camera. Granted not everyone probably wants one, but its a really nice feature to have, especially for beginner drivers and the like. Lane-keep assist i could also recommend but me personally, I would say that lane-departure warning is enough, a very useful feature but more of a want than a need in my opinion. Secondly is the engine. Dont get me wrong, I'd say that the power output is more than enough for you to get from point a to b with full pax and cargo, but considering its price, so many of its competitors already have turbos and/or electrification, so it would be nice to have on the XForce (I would like to add however, that they released the Xpander E:Motion HEV in Thailand a while back, so I would assume that if the time comes for the XForce to get a facelift, they might add that into the system). In my opinion, the XForce isn't underpowered when you think about it including the power to weight ratio (if you were to compare it to the Xpander), but really, I'd say the engines of the competitors are much more appealing with their turbos and all of that. Lastly, and which seems to be the most glaring problem with the XForce in my opinion, it's price. I get it, Mitsubishi wants to advertise the XForce as a more "premium crossover/SUV" and dont get me wrong, I can see why with what it already has. but let's be honest, there are other competitors in this segment that seem to be a better deal. To me, the price is really the XForce's weakest point, but lets see what promos Mitsu can offer for it.
I love the features of modern electric/hybrid cars, like what BYD Sealion has to offer. But if you factor in the battery lifespan and maintenance, you would have to add that to the maintanance cost. Compared to a purely IC engine which would last you as any traditional IC car would. Bottomline, the pros you mentioned that BYD has over XForce plus the rich modern features - add a few years down the line, would those advantages at that pricepoint still hold weight?
Pass sa X-Force! HARD PLASTICS EVERYWHERE! Not worth it sa price nya na almost 1.6m 😖 yan talaga yung una ko napansin sa X-Force pagpasok ko. 1st impressions last ika nga nila. 😢
