  • Thought I fixed my battery issue by putting my bike in Low-Speed mode, after loading it up with my camping gear I found out I was wrong. BMS upgrade?

This is a ride around CFB Trenton in low-speed mode with all my camping gear loaded up for weight. The bike works fine if I keep the weight down but not when I loaded it up. I think it's time to try upgrading the BMS, I can't afford a better battery right not and the shipping takes too long.
In the end I traveled about 12km in total, but it was struggle with 20min charge in the middle. The battery totally cuts out around 47v and has a 15amp max BMS. I don't know the specs of the cells so I plain to keep it in low-speed and only upgrade to a 20amp BMS. There about 25 bucks and ship fast so it's worth a try. I think 20amps should be enough and not too much either.
The Solar e-bike project continues, I guess. If you want to see how to upgrade a battery pack with a better BMS or a failure stay tuned for the next video. Hit that bell!

it's not that bad, if you only had two of them and a dual connector?
