    This country is very beautiful but this PR campaign lacks consistency. You should talk about energy production capacity, the transportation system, political stability and rule of law. The rest is trivial for a serious investor. We love Jimbere and we encourage you to continue to provide a good image of Burundi.

    • @supersim9818
      @supersim9818 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Energy production capacity is still low, and that’s an opportunity for an investor. Transportation problems, that’s another opportunity. Issue of political stability is an East African problem not Burundi alone. There’s no war in Burundi since 2005. A political stable country doesn’t rely solely on one president to rule for 20 years plus let alone 38 years. So chill, Burundi has had power sharing and democracy is growing. Nothing perfect but some neighbours can’t give Burundi any lectures on democracy or political stability

    • @Irene28092
      @Irene28092 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I don't understand what this guy is talking about, I think in terms of democracy or rules of law, in EAC apart of Tanzania or Kenya which country should be in front? Some people I think work for some entities we don't know, if u don't like our country or hate us, pls do not come here to comment nonsense. We re proud of our elect gvt ND the majority support it.

    • @supersim9818
      @supersim9818 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Irene28092 we just need to focus on getting better and ignore them haters. Our country is beautiful. Together we can make it more beautiful. We’re not perfect but we won’t be taking political stability lessons from some neighbours except for Tanzania and Kenya

    • @Irene28092
      @Irene28092 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, that is the most important, we go slowly but surely. The people who are talking nonsense will be surprised one day seing what they are seeing in some of our neighbors being destroyed BCS of lack of unity, injustice, hidden tribalism etc@@supersim9818

    It is very important that Burundian leaders realize that the country needs a quick recovery to help us not to fall in the abyss.
    I love my country but we hsve been stuck for decades somehow going backwards.
    We need to erase:
    Insalubrite
    Insecurity
    Inequality
    Poverty
    IT IS POSSIBLE and we can do it .

  • @Iblongtohim

    Dnt be fooled... the situation on the ground is quite different. Electricity and water are still a big issue in the country. Fuel shortages consistently happen. Sometimes you can spend 2 weeks or 3 weeks without fuel. Pple in the country have accepted their fate... they walk. The environment is really hostile for business!! Then there is also the issue of security and political instability that has been present for DECADES. U cant beat that

    • @supersim9818
      @supersim9818 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Lack of electricity, water and fuel shortages represent good opportunities for investors. Insecurity is an East African problem not just Burundi. So take your own advice and invest in whatever services you just mentioned and you will be successful. Money = solving problems. Other than that keep on complaining while others are taking advantage of this fresh market.

    • @Iblongtohim
      @Iblongtohim 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@supersim9818 yes, it is important to present the right picture!! And this should be a wake up call to the authorities and people involved in this- Instead of focusing on tourism, focus on those aspects that seriously need to be dealt with. It is CERTAINLY not a foreigner who is going to bring water and electricity to the people of Burundi!! And those are NOT opportunities for investors please!! Let's not inverse things. If they were, they would have beeñ seized by now

    • @supersim9818
      @supersim9818 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Iblongtohim water, electricity, roads and transportation are huge opportunities for investors. The capitalist system lets foreign and domestic investors own government assets through agreements that provide services to the public. It’s not rocket science. No barrier to that. In Burundi there’s water( natural) that need processing and that’s an opportunity, electricity is the same, privatise electricity and everyone will have access.

      @supersim9818 Indeed its a great investment opportunity, but can we be real about the corruption level our country has reached?
      I really love my country but I got discouraged with the few projects I have tried to start.

    • @supersim9818
      @supersim9818 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kalyka4107 corruption is a serious problem. A new leader, a new ideology, a new image and a new approach to politics is what we need. I just don’t agree with people who push the narrative of political instability as if EAC is politically stable( TZ and Kenya aside).

    I believe the message of ADB attract investors allover the world, and particularly those who tapped in Rwanda market. Also Rwandan entrepreneurs would easily navigate Burundi, however the political climate has affected collaboration of both countries.

    I think if we reduce the corporate tax to something like 20%, our country would be in the best position in the whole of East Africa where CT is between 28% and 30%. In Europe, Hungary is at 9 percent, Ireland 12.5 percent, and Lithuania 15 percent and Ireland has huge American companies that take advantages of this and in return Ireland is now among the top 10 richest country in the World.
