Hands down an underated game. I absolutely love this game, it was my first(and hardest) platinum. 8 years later, I have 110 platinum and nothing comes close to the feeling when I surpassed this beast.
Multiplayer on this game was awesome. I didn't really care about losing because it was just so awesome watching predators go after humans and aliens while aliens went after humans and humans tried surviving. Evil dead and this game need a Remaster.
I also remember multiplayer.Was so good playing as a marines , or predator or alien.For me this was one of the best online game experience I have ever had

Had so many memories playing this game. All three campaigns were amazing. The marines made you feel like you were gonna die and kept you on your toes all the time. Predators made you pick the time to attack and give you that Hunter feeling and so did the aliens. Multiplayer was absolutely amazing and I couldn't get enough of it. I'm glad this game is backwards compatable, cuz ima buy it and just play the hell out of it. Nostalgia kicking in.
The first Alien film terrified me and I couldn't sleep for three nights. I would love to play this but I have tried and I panic. I can play anything except the Alien games. What a wimp.
Me and my friends would scare each other playing this game, sometimes it would just be silent and calm but then would occasionally hear footsteps or screaming from your friend who had just been stalked and killed because u thought it was a good idea to split up.
AVP 2010 videogame is set 30 years after alien 3 in the year 2209. because in one of his audio diaries Karl Bishop Weyland refers to ellen ripley and her actions against Weyland-Yutani's company interests in reference to the films, saying, "Even now, I can't help but admire her, despite all she did to hold us back. Three times she faced the xenomorphs. Three times she stopped our progress. She showed a strength that few possess. If she had only realised the magnificence of what she tried to destroy..."
Hot damn the nostalgia, hard to believe it’s been 8 years already, it’s a shame to see this and Aliens Colonial Marines waste their potential. Never had more fun then playing full online lobbies of Aliens vs. Marines , RIP.
In my opinion multiplayer in this game is far more intense and has faster paced, frenetic gameplay than the 2nd AvP game. And this game also looks and sounds better. Single player survivor mode in this game is also epic. The maps are much smaller in this game, which makes the gameplay far more intense and hectic. Each to their own though. Theres an awesome video on TH-cam entitled, AvP 2010 survival C Block Uploaded by a TH-camr called PuschkinMr Its worth checking out.
I have to admit, for 2010 the graphics and gameplay still look amazing. Playing Alien and Predator gave was awesome as playing human scared the shit out of you.

I love how the longest campaign is the Marine one which plays out just like your typical shoot em up fps game but instead of shooting humans you are shooting 2 of science fiction's most iconic alien monsters the xenomorphs and the predators along with some robots thrown in for good measure

Old Aliens vs. Predator 2 (from year 2001) is better for me. Multiplayer in AvP2 is awesome. You should make retro gameplay of that game too :)

I played this video game for the first time in 2012, it was great but a bit cheated with the predator campaign lol
this game had what true alien fans wanted, i personally loved it, very accurate pulse rifle sounds and alien screams. the pvp was decent.
