- Hey there! Since 2017, the Sauberg Trail has been part of the network of Shared Trails in the Wienerwald. Over the years, it's seen a few tweaks after forestry work, but it's still the classic it's always been, boasting plenty of off-camber curves and a character all its own.
Coming from the Grüß Di a Gott Wirt, you'll head towards Hermannskogel. About halfway there, just before Herzerlwiese, you'll spot the trail entrance on your left. Along the way, you'll cross a forestry road once, giving you the option to either loop back left towards Grüß Di a Gott Wirt sooner or head right towards the Südtiroler Trail. But bear in mind, after the forestry road, the trail takes you all the way down into the Weidlingbach Valley. So don't miss out on that!

Einer meiner Lieblingstrails in dieser Gegend, auch weil er nach Regen schneller abtrocknet, als die anderen Trails in der Umgebung! 👍🏼
Ich mag ihn auch immer wieder gern. Leider komme ich inzwischen zu selten in die Ecke, aber das muss sich wieder ändern ;-)

Wow🤩, ein echt super Share Trail und was für eine Stimmung mit der Sonne Christian.
Da kommt die Lust auf den Frühling umso mehr, wenn ich das sehe. Super gefahren und danke fürs teilen. Hab eine schöne Woche und machs gut✌
Danke Christoph, ja die Stimmung war genial an diesem wunderbaren Herbsttag. Nächste Woche steht noch ein Skiurlaub am Programm und dann kann die neue Bikesaison starten! Keep on riding, würd mich freuen, wenn wir uns heuer irgendwann mal am Trail treffen!

Awesome trails and great riding Christian. It's good to see you returning to form. I know you said you still struggle mentally, but do you think you are at 100% physically at this point?
Way to go both mentally and physically Sage, but at least I can enjoy riding again. My personal fitness demands are very high as I am used to train for and ride gran fondos. But I am getting there. I can push wieghts in the gym again so slowly but shortly I am getting back to my desired fitness level. Apart from that I am only waiting for the waether to be good enough for riding again ... still winter here. That ride was fom last fall.
