I like how you have managed to go all electrical for your cooking requirements. I have watched quite a few built out ideas, but you have some truly unique work done.
I have a Subaru Outback and love your build! It's so clever that you used percentages to determine what you will need and how you will use the space. And, I appreciate the lessons learned. A very detailed build. Thanks for sharing!!
I especially love the little orchid. It really snazzes up the environment. Thank you for sharing a bit of your life with us. I wish you safe travels and rewarding adventures. :)
It's great in the winter, but it let's a lot of bugs in during the summer, I've taken mine out of the sunroof. When I finish redoing my build I'll do an update video
@@adventureswithjoseph what about using more of the screen netting over the sunroof with the magnets placed over the sunroof opening ? If you use strong enough magnets you could even travel with it in place possibly ?
I’ve seen a lot of Outback camping videos, but have never seen the sunroof fan setup. That’s an awesome idea. It’s one of those nuggets you keep and remember and include in your own setup. Thanks!!
What a great build! I love the fan in the sunroof! I've been car camping in my Toyota Matrix, but am now looking at getting an SUV for safer winter driving here in BC and the Yukon.
Gotta have my porta-potty, but I know where to put it. I would replace that cardboard skylight fan cover with some tinted plexiglass for security. Nice job. Didn't notice a fridge.
I've been trying to figure out a set up for camping in my outback and have been stuck on some important issues. You solved all of them. Thank you so very much. Subbed.
Love the aesthetic touches to of the lights and flowers! 🌼 I personally like to name vehicles based off of their license plates haha, like mine is JPT and it's also a Subaru, so stars, so I named it Jupiter✨ Thoughts on these?! Jezzica 💁♀️ Jay-Z 🎤 Jazzy 🕺 Jazelle 🦌 Jurazzic 🦖 That's all I got haha
@11elevenWishWorthily... Sounds good. Haven't named my SUV, but Caddy was nick-named "Miss Kitty" by male friend that went with me when I bought it. But I named her "Jazz-Purr" because she Rwarrs 🐅 when I drive her.
Really well designed. I had an old but low miles conversion van that I had to let go of when I got my Outback about 7 years ago, extended Starcraft conversion that was great for camping, pretty much a no build set up. I could even fit my 12 foot fishing kayak inside. Can't buy another van at current prices, so looking to set up my Outback for short getaways. Not going as elaborate as your build, but more of a low budget version. Thanks for the good ideas. BTW, are the window inserts store bought, or did you make them? I've been looking at the Weathertech ones cuz I'm not real handy and a low energy older guy, lol. Just subbed and liked, hope you keep making content.
I use a DC to DC charger, my car only has a 50 Amp altnator so I just use a 20 Amp charger. I also have the inverter charger for when driving doesn't keep up
Subaru are good vehicles. Only stigma associated with that brand of rough terrain vehicle is that folks think you're gay if you drive a Subaru. Same with Jeep Wrangler. They're tagged as "queer mobiles".

So glad I found you! We used to love camping. Best wishes on your adventures.
Love the fan in the roof idea... and the induction cook top!
This is one of my favorite videos
You have aot of great ideas
Thanks for sharing
Subaru off grid camper girl here too. nicely done loved your video and I’ve never seen a Subaru with one of those heaters inside that is cool.
I especially love the little orchid. It really snazzes up the environment.

That fan for the sunroof opening was pretty genius👍I have a 2018 Forester that I might try that with!

I camp in Oscar the Outback. He's a 2012. I'm new at this. trying to do at least 2 weekends a month and am still working things out.
Thats such a creative name for your outback!!
The epitome of efficient! I LOVE the way you think.
Well thought-out & planned.
Thank you for sharing.
Sunroof fan idea is genius!
I’ve seen a lot of Outback camping videos, but have never seen the sunroof fan setup. That’s an awesome idea. It’s one of those nuggets you keep and remember and include in your own setup.

Starburst... thats the name that popped in my head.
What a great build! I love the fan in the sunroof! I've been car camping in my Toyota Matrix, but am now looking at getting an SUV for safer winter driving here in BC and the Yukon.
The sunroof fan turned out to be a failed idea. The Mosquitoes kept getting in cause it wasn't sealed enough.
@@adventureswithjoseph aww! Too bad.
I like your interior lights. I have a 2016 and will go out on my first camping adventure with 2 dogs as soon as weather is reasonable.
best ideas i've seen for a subaru.

I am converting my 2006 Forester and was stuck on what to do about heat -- thanks for that clever solution!
Great build! Looks like you have thought this through and will pay when you get your van. Thanks for sharing!
True North Impressive! 🙂
Thank you, very inspiring.
Wow, lots of cooking devices😂. Really cool idea though. Looks like a reasonably comfortable bed

I have Nina Nissan. 😎

Real. Thank for sharing experiences
Ole Blue 🙏🙏🙏🙏
This is so nice . I wish I could afford this luxury ❤ I miss it
Stumbled across your content, really appreciate this information. Trying to prepare to do the same.
You have tons of information. Thank you!
I had a FreeStar too. Loved it ! In a Forester now with a Thule cargo box that helps free up inside space. Nice video - now subscribed 🌠
Awesome! Thank you!
Great idea for the placement of the heater and fuel!
thanks!
Very nice setup 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
thank you for sharing, very cool mods
Amazing! How did u build the fan in sunroof?
This is AWESOME! Needed the fan info!!’❤❤❤❤❤
It's just a fan from Canadian tire, then used cardboard to hold it in place
Enjoyed your tour👍👍👍 great ideas I can use!! Thanks
Nice setup 😎
Thanks!
Thank you, I learned a lot 👋🇦🇺

my window inserts are from weather tech, i highly recommend!
@@adventureswithjoseph They look great and I'm not up for making mine. Thanks.
Did I miss refridgeration ? How are you keeping your perishables ?
Do you have a link for the stove that you have? 🙏🏼
great set up ..almost the same as mine
Cab you show me what sort of frame do you have please !
Would love to see a video on how you built your rear box and how you built your shelving unit.
I've taken the rear box off, it's too heavy, when I do my rebuild I'll make videos of those builds.
I’m just curious when you’re in a real cold area isn’t there a special car heater you have to use so your motor doesn’t freeze
A lot of engineering ! And you save a lot of money !
thanks! yes, im starting to save money now
How many miles did your Subaru have on it when you bought it and how many dollars did you pay? Thank you for the video. Blessings to you.
Nice setup man! I camp out of my rav4
Thanks! I'll have to check out your video when I get a chance
@@adventureswithjoseph thanks brother, i subbed!
WOW!
Want to camp in my 4-door SUV, but it's 100°+F heat index where I am, that's Hella Hot!
My issue too.
It's getting super hot here too, I'm trying to figure out different ideas to keep the car cool
I have a 2003 Subaru outback blue on tan. Her name is Shasta with 237,000. Wow!
Perfect name❤❤
Angel blessings to you!
Headed to Sedona in September 23!😊
Where did you get the window covers for the very back little side windows?
I got them from weather tech
No porta-potty?
Give me life Sir 😁😍💃😘😘
How do you charge the lithium batteries ?
I use a DC to DC charger, my car only has a 50 Amp altnator so I just use a 20 Amp charger. I also have the inverter charger for when driving doesn't keep up
I like your setup, have you tried travelling in winter season with this setup? 🤔
Yes I have, I was in labrador a month ago and it was -20 for a few nights.
can not hear bye
no volume

Why do young people now days never capitalize their damn names?!
If auto correct thought we were important enough for our names to be capitalized, then they would be. 😅
