I love Tilde's Falco but he def brought this upon himself. Daring the best Sonic in the world to a camp off seems like a recipe for disaster especially considering that Sonix def holds forward more than most Sonics and prob would've played a more aggressive set.
Tilde played so much lamer than Sonix here honestly. Even though Sonix isn't a crowd favorite, he was simply a cut above the rest of the top players this tourney.
Tilde has been always a butthole, like a Great Value Leffen.
Even ZD was a Saint compared to him
But tilde has to play this lame to combat the matchup. If he tries to approach constantly there really isn’t much falco can do. He honestly was playing great in the first two games considering how taxing the matchup is on falcos side

This MU is interesting as Falco can stop Sonic's momentum but Sonic can run all over Falco once in and edge guard the hell out of him.
This was once a almost impossible MU on Brawl to being very good for Sonic in 4 and Ultimate.

Sonic couldn't approach Falco due to lasers or the threat of the chain grab. Sonic couldn't win neutral. All he had was edge guarding because he couldn't link combos and no real kill confirms.

sonix is really good and deserves respect but I can't help but be bored when he goes into spin dash time mode. They just need to make that move have less invincibility maybe like only 2 frames instead of 6 it's just way to hard to punish for most characters and if you have a move that predictable, and they use it that much and get away with it, that is bad design. Not sonix fault but he sure does abuse it lmao

Tilde plzzzzzzzz. One of the big things that light does in the mu that you weren't is going for down smash 2 frames. You kept dairing the ledge which is nice but not consistent and leave you in a bad position every time you don't guess the exact time. If you just held waiting and tried reaction down smash you might not have let sonix out the corner so often.
Also if your going to take a risk in the mu. Especially because I think this mu Is awful in every single smash game so you kinda have to take risk, I'd say more call out with amahs attacks. You get much more threatening an early kill with a smash than going for long combo extensions cuz sonics disadvantage is so polarizing.

Nah if you have a stock advantage why not take it and add up damage instead of running away? Sonic is so lame dude lol this dude may be the best but every time I see him play he's just doing the same shit. Tilde is at least more entertaining.
Bc you can play slower and don't lost that stock while add damage to your opponet. Easy as that.
Sonix literally does just that, he just knows how and when to be patient and mix up/condition the opponent.
Every game Sonix plays actually looks different because of this. He’s always creating new conversions and combos on the fly with his character’s super basic moveset. Even despite the camp off here, Sonic still played more interesting imo.
