      @patriciamccormick9321 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He was a dick to people, he was arrogant and cruel when he played. He died tragically with his child so time softens those memories as people don’t wish to speak poorly of the dead.

      @thatdude4933 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@patriciamccormick9321 well the same is said about MJ by those who were close to him during his prime and that's not my point at all. My point is does being a good man make you a great basketball player? Can't we celebrate someone's achievements without making it more than that or making them 'a God's or 'hero' just because they can ball? Not saying he was perfect because I know better and so should everybody else. They called MJ 'black Jesus' but he was far from perfect but he was almost godly on the basketball court. We looking for entertainment from professionals who are battling for surprimisy against the best in their field. It's an amazing accomplishment worth celebrating. I don't tune in to search for flaws when I could of started and been better off looking at my own flaws. We all got em. Great things dont come without great sacrifice. Everything has a cost and people lose sight of that sitting on their couch channel surfing watching great things happen while that greatness is being devalued more with each passing day. Could of done the world a favor and tuned in on Yellowstone instead of the game is all I'm saying

    • @James_Edward59
      @James_Edward59 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@thatdude4933 Jordan’s always been celebrated, people don’t shut up about Jordan honestly, I wish he would be talked about a lot less than he is. They compare him to everything like he was the greatest shooter ever which he wasn’t even a great outside shooter then they compare him to the best dunkers which he could dunk well but nowhere near the best and then they compare him to this and that and it’s just annoying.

    • @ignoblesavage5559
      @ignoblesavage5559 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah, kobe didn't cheat us of a MINUTE. he was one guy who did NOT care what his stats looked like, as long as they won (and of course he wanted to be a big key to winning, naturally). meaning if he needed to miss 5 in a row or 7 out of 8 or whatever in order to straighten things back out...he never passed up a necessary shot just to save his field goal percentage. what he shared with us and the league was nothing short of his very best effort his body allowed on every single night. no load-management bullshite, no checking stats and turning the ball over with the shot clock running down just because he was well-defended...but it didn't mean he didn't pass. he did, 5 assists a game for a SG (which is EXCELLENT for a primary perimeter scorer). check assist numbers for all the all-time best scorers, you'll see that his are in line with most (except for those who played a good amount of PG or point forward, like lebron and like jerry west). better than some, less than others, but well above average for a SG.

Right foot was a pivot foot, he just pivoted to his right, stepping through with his left, and then with a 180-ish turn around 3 - bucket! I would've loved seeing kobe face mike in the finals.
    What an awesome display of basket we would've witnessed.
    Larry bird, michael jordan and kobe bryant....all time 3 killers.
