finally found a mirage tuner. the tires look way better
Yes 😃
Nice, man! Simple and Clean.
Thanks!
Looks fresh, keep the videos up.
Definitely will be! Thanks for watching
Looks nice! I have the same color Mirage and love it.
The blue has really grown on me, I love walking out every day and seeing it😁
Just bought me a 2020 mirage for 11,900. 13k miles. Averaging 43 MPG got the white "upgrade" color 😁
That's awesome my man, these cars are super underrated
I have a 2017 same color, slowly making mods myself, louder horn was the first thing. i love your vids bro. Looking for a new front bumper mines got some damage
Looks so much better with those wheels. I have a 17 G4 and it had those tiny 14" tires. I bought stock alloys from the scrap yard and they look just as bad. I may have to upgrade to these.
Just wait and see you will like the next build
Nice ride. I've w45 pearl on my ride
Thanks man, I really appreciate your viewership, full review coming out next week!
I'm about to buy some Enkei EDR9 15 x 15.5's paired with the Hancook Ventus V2 that are 195/50R15 (just copied that from Tire Rack lol) - did you buy the TPMS kit & have it sent to a dealer? If so, what did that cost look like for you?
Also was wondering if you found it easier (or cheaper) to buy the wheels & tires separately as opposed to having them mounted before they got shipped to you!
I've been subbed to you for a bit, saw your newest video the other day & decided I'm pulling the trigger finally thanks to you!
I used the tpms that was on the stock wheels and put it on the new wheels.
For me personally I bought them all together, then got them shipped to the dealership to get mounted and then installed there as well. (It might be cheaper for you to do it differently)
And thank you for the support, the new video that's about to come out is a brake kit, and I think you're going to want to see that one as well, it will shock you more than it shocked me!
hey i found this video and fine job with the wheels and tires but when i went to check the website you linked in the description, tire rack says theres a error and its not available. but i do believe the tires are still on the website. just FYI if anyone who want the same wheels. (EDIT) I believe i found teh same wheels as the video on a differenet website.
Looks really nice! Did you have to change anything on the fender or wheel arch? Thanks!
No, it actually fits perfectly, but I am coming out with a full review in about a week or two
Nice, thank you!
No problem my man!
Yes, the wheels do the car right; since they are larger than stock, have you noticed any change in acceleration or difference in speed at freeway speeds?perhaps the larger wheel per revolution goes alittle further, multiplied by how many times it turns on the freeway would get you more distance overall and thus even slightly better gas mileage? Or with it being bigger, perceptibly slow acceleration?
I have a full reveiw on the channel 😁
Mirage does come from the factory with 15" wheels as well. The difference here is the wheel width.
Hello from Australia. I've got Mirage 2013 and thinking of installing wide wheels as well as my car is not stable on a motorway if speed exceeds 100 km/h. Have done wheels alignment several times and nothing helps. Have you noticed any changes regarding stability on high speed?
Wider wheels and tires help more than you would know, definitely recommend. You should watch my review on my channel for them.
I have a 2019 mitsubishi mirage what and i wanna get some new rims for it anybody recommend some and also how much bigger can i go rim size ??
I recommend 15 inch wheels, but I have seen as big as 18 inch wheels on these with aftermarket coilovers
I just bought this exact car and I see the HP is very low. I'm no racer, but I've been driving a 2005 malibu with a 3.5L V6 for 7 years. Everyday I climb a steep highway. So I'm a bit worried about entering the highway. Is there a way to give it a little boost to the engine?
Do you have the CVT or the 5speed manual?
Can you clarify if you're using 195,55r15 or 195, 50r15. Thanks
I am using 195 55 r15 But you can use any thickness depending on your preference and of course wheel size. The bigger the diameter of the wheel I recommend the thinner the tire. I have heard people get 17's on these but that's not recommended
How is the steering now with bigger wheels since this car doesn’t have power steering
This car does have power steering, electric power steering. So it's easy
I'm not a tech head with cars but do the bigger wheels affect the cars acceleration or speed?
It can if they are lighter, less mass to rotate makes it easier for the car to accelerate
I went to the link that you shared to buy these rims since they look good. Do you know if it will be an issue since the mirage is 4 lugs and the rim is 5 lugs?
The picture is just general, if you go on the website and look for rims under your vehicle and select 15" then you will find these. Unfortunately the link doesn't save it's for a Mirage, but MAKE SURE TO SET THE VEHICLE OR IT WON'T BE 4 LUG WHEN YOU ORDER. Other than that you should be fine.
@@mitsubishimadman7321 okay, thank you I appreciate it.
Anytime, thanks for watching
I got a 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 same color as yours, looking for a new set of wheels
Well I have video on that 😁
@@mitsubishimadman7321 awesome! I just subscribed and watched every mirage video
I am so happy you enjoy them
Do you have clearance from the strut with that size of tire???
Yes plenty of room and no rubbing, check out the full review on the channel
@@mitsubishimadman7321 I'm going to put 15s on my mirage and just want to be sure..thank you
Anytime, always here
Hey buddy mind sharing the rim specs? BTW Nice ride same colour as mine!
15 inch rims, 6 inches wide
@@mitsubishimadman7321 alright buddy and what's the ET or offset of the rim? I reckon ur running on stock suspension?
Offset is 40, and yes running stock suspension and it clears everything
Nice! Is the rim flush to the body?
Yes, fitment is perfect on this car, it is flush and does not poke out
Do you know what j fitment the wheels are?
What do you mean by fitment? Clearance wise the wheels have plenty of room, I have a full review coming out next week
@@mitsubishimadman7321 I put after market alloys on and they where too wide and every bump i went over it hit my wheel arch lol so wondering how wide these wheels are.
15 inches tall by 6 inches wide
@@mitsubishimadman7321 perfect mate thank you :)
Links are in the description for the tire if you're looking
hey mate do you still have those hub caps? i lost one last week
Yes, all 4
@@mitsubishimadman7321would you part with one? If so how much?
Sorry man, I am selling as a set, if I sell one it makes it harder to sell the rest 😬
@@mitsubishimadman7321 I got you how much for the set?
Hey I found a extra one from my old car, what's your WhatsApp. I will send you a message and some pictures of it.
Is your rim 15×8?
15x6
@@mitsubishimadman7321 do you think 15×7 would fit??
It would be tight unless you get small spacers or maybe a certain offset
@@mitsubishimadman7321 so you think 1/2 inch spacers will work?
Should be good
The original wheel covers are ugly and inpractical I got some after market alloys after I got my one.
Yeah I agree to that I did the same thing and also a tire upgrade helps alot!
