I used to find myself paralyzed often with overwhelming and repetitive anthems saying internally "you're not good enough" "you're not good enough" "you're not good enough" ... I am still impacted by this at a core level.

I would really love to see an episode where Rick and Forrest annotate some of their favorite quotes.

Another amazing video with practical tools to heal! Insecure attachment and shame bounded perspectives are huge problems in relationships especially in group settings. The questions were so clear, as were both of your answers delivered skillfully and ever so compassionately..it just opens my heart and lifts spirits. So very thankful for you both as well as Elizabeth!!😊❤

"How can I let my thoughts and speech flow more naturally?" - 1) Learn to regulate your nervous system with breathwork and other intentional exposure to discomfort (like cold / heat, strenuous exercise), first in safe solitude or with trusted friends and THEN practice regulation IRL; 2) Connect with what that over-criticized child within you needs, and learn how to provide it with any kind of nurturing you can / whatever works, you may need to get creative and you may need guidance, so that child isn't seeking those needs in your interactions; 3) keep breathing and stay connected to your body, literally feeling your feet on the ground will help you in any conversation

the healthy and unhealthy wanting is huge for me right now. I don't want to talk about it with my partner. I am extremely avoidant, enmeshed, insecure, and codependent. lol I'm a keeper for sure. hahaha

Your content has such valuable gems, and the monotones delivery make it so hard to listen and find them.

What's funny about any of this? Please stop laughing when talking about people's pain.

Thanks for sharing your feelings. Humor can be a tricky tool in these discussions, for some, it helps lighten the burden, while for others, it can feel dismissive. We all cope in different ways. Let the sweetness of light hearted laughter find the innocent place deep inside you that doesn't get offended.
