So she says that she mistook this human form that came into her room at a very very late hour for Don Ottavio. Which means that he has already « visited » her before at such hours, probably for a game of chess and a cup of hot chocolate? Mozart and Da Ponte are genius at depicting the hypocrisy of the nobility of the time. Furthermore, after such declaration, all she can helped herself mentioning is Onore!
I will stick to the old school of singing where quality of tone is preferred to vocal gymnastics.
