      Hi, no mate, I don't use them. Prefer OS maps.

    Very good unload again cheers. Nice day for it and some special views , good timing of the upload as I was in the lakes yesterday. Did a loop of lake Windermere really enjoyed it not a challenging ride just a pleasant ride got around in about 1h 40 min , liked the west side as that was much quieter and esthwaite water looked nice

    Looked a tuff one with some brutal climbs but looks a brilliant ride, nice video 👍

      Cheers mate, yeah the climbs are a serious push, but worth it

    Is that a Scott Spark you’re riding? It looks ideal for the Lake District as I hike up there a lot and know how rocky they are and it looks like climbs quite well.

    IB, videos inspired me to buy your mtb lake district book, it's a brilliant wee guide. Hoping to organise a visit to area shortly. The book mentions the odd short push section, are there any carry-a-bike sections?

      @Lakedistrictrider  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, really glad to hear the vids have inspired you and thanks for getting the book. Hope you enjoy it! The routes in the guide mostly avoid carrys. There are some places where you would need to get off and push on a few of the routes where the surface is steep and loose but shouldn't need to resort to significant carrying.

      @@Lakedistrictrider many thanks for replying. I'm coming from Northern Ireland spending a few days in a campervan. Any of those routes you would particularly recommend or where to base myself.

      I guess if you are in a campervan you have quite a bit of flexibility. The western Lakes are quieter and a bit more off the beaten track. Lots of great riding in the south east Lakes but busier so depends how you feel about that. On routes, it depends what kind of riding you like.
      Personally I really like the Dunnerdale Enduro route. That is a big fun techy ride with great scenery and away from the masses. The Parkamoor and Satterthwaite one is another great one

    • @Lakedistrictrider
      @Lakedistrictrider  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ride is 19 miles, see caption at start of vid :) I don't ride an ebike but I would say still deffo significant pushes.

    How can I find this loop? Looks really good. Do you need to carry your bike at any point or is it just the odd push? Cheers

    • @Lakedistrictrider
      @Lakedistrictrider  ปีที่แล้ว

      There's a long sustained push up from the reservoir above Hartsop to pretty much the top of the fell. Then there's another Long push/carry up to Boredale Hause

    Great vid mate, just wondering, you reckon electric scooters could get up on any of the mounts on Lake District?
