You have to be careful of where the cotton comes from, though, if you're looking for 100% cotton. Check the origin. Slavery still exists in cotton-picking in parts of the world (yes, I am thinking about East Turkestan) and we don't want to be supporting that. This can be really hard, in fact, sometimes I don't buy cotton if I can't find out where it was harvested (where it was imported from is not sufficient, as major cotton processors like Japan still import a lot of raw product from East Turkestan and Uyghur slaves are still picking it).
Dried flowers are such a pretty way to bring in a vintage vibe. I've had two vases with dried roses for over a year now. As long as you don't touch them constantly, they will last so long. Especially in rooms like a bathroom without windows it's a great way to introduce greenery that won't look miserable due to a lack of sunlight.
Love the fall theme! Respectfully I do have to say that it gets a bit annoying with all the interruptions being included in the video. Personally I don't mind a video where noises are in the background because that's life! Totally get wanting to keep them in, but bringing more attention to the dog or neighbor disruptions tend to make me want to skip through.
As an autistic, ACE, anti-consumerist, Queen fan who's been slowly and consciously redesigning her home over the last couple years - your channel targeted me in the best way 🙏🖤 just waiting for the cat to appear... maybe I haven't seen him yet 🐈
It was refreshing to hear a go with kitsch if that's what you like perspective. Most interior design TH-camrs say go more understated. I am usually low-key and just bring in seasonal botanicals and candles but I like to see others go all out and hype up the festivities. Ethan Gaskill did fun Halloween decor last year that had a variety of vibes from quirky, to classic, to creepy. He loves Halloween and wasn't afraid to be a bit bolder. I want to see more of that.
