Fall Guy trivia, when he is contacting Jody he says "I am a pickle" and then "I am in a pickle". In the interviews Ryan asks who put the pickle sticker on the helmet he wears for the cannon role. There are a lot of boats docked in that harbor. He does not quote "The Notebook" because no one get thrown out windows or hit by cars in that movie.

The police officers at the end were stars in the TV Version of "The Fall Guy" from the 1980s.

fun fact the guy who straps ryan into the car right before the canon roll and pulls him out of it after is logan holiday who actually did the canon rolls. and ryan told him right before they filmed it that this is so messed up that youre pulling me out of the car you just rolled lmao.

Yea I hope it makes people appreciate stunt doubles more and we start giving them awards because it’s hard work and people forget about them sometimes. I liked the movie but the story for me was just okay but everything else was great.

Box office numbers are close to irrelevant nowadays. They need to create a new metric for success. Because this flick was AWESOME! I went out of the theater, took two steps and told my wife I wanted to see it again.

@@robertlombardo8437 there’s always movies that are really good but people just don’t go to the theaters as much unfortunately. I always go to the theater for big movies like dune and when Deadpool 3 comes out. This movie just wasn’t really one I cared to see in theaters but think it deserves the success

87N or 87 North has done John Wick, Atomic Blonde, Nobody, Kate, Bullet Train, Day Shift, Violent Night Tom Cruise does a lot of his stunts, but not all of them. He does the high stuff, but not all the fight stuff. The movie is honoring stunt people, he is wearing a stunt union shirt in the scene where he runs with the dog and there are stunt dogs.

"I'm just a boy in a neon suit, standing in front of a girl, reminding her that Notting Hill (1999) is her favorite movie. And she watches Love Actually (2003) every year of Christmas."
Fun Fact: Ryan Gosling had (at least) four stunt doubles.
Action Star Fact: Ryan Gosling has a fear of heights, but still did the 150-foot fall at the beginning of the movie.
Cameos Cameos Fact: Jason Momoa as a fictional version of himself. Both Lee Majors and Heather Thomas from the original The Fall Guy (1981) series, play police officers during the mid-credit scene.
Spielberg Approval Fact: Ryan Gosling had a chance encounter with Steven Spielberg, who told him he loved this movie. Gosling said: "As far as I'm concerned it doesn't matter anymore what happens. Steven Spielberg liked it. That was an all time moment for me. I'm really excited for people to see it. I think it's a really special movie."
Metalstorm Fact: The film-within-a-film Metalstorm was heavily inspired by the real film Metalstorm: The Destruction Of Jared-Syn (1983). The entire concept, costumes and desert setting and car based stunts are right from Charles Band's film. The tagline, "It's High Noon At The End Of The Universe" used for the movie within is also the tagline from the 1983 film as well as for the Full Moon Entertainment production Oblivion 2: Backlash (1996).
Automobile Enthusiast Fact: With 8.5 car rolls, this movie breaks the Guinness World Record of the most car rolls (a fact which Gail (Hannah Waddingham) actually mentions in the dialogue). As noted on camera in the scene where Colt (Ryan Gosling) first borrows an American-spec left-hand-drive pickup, the vehicles used in the Sydney-based shoot are there for product-placement purposes. Colt drives a GMC pickup, but Jody (Emily Blunt) is shown riding in a GM-produced Hummer EV during the "Metalstorm" filming sequences. GM did, in fact, purchase product-placement rights for the film itself. The movie is based loosely on The Fall Guy (1981). In it, Lee Majors played Colt Seavers, a Hollywood stuntman who also moonlights as a bounty hunter when there is little movie work. Majors himself and the show's famous vehicle, the 1981 GMC K-2500 Wideside, appear in the film, as well as his co-star Heather Thomas, who played Jody Banks in the series.

Emily Blunt is more of a Swifty, but her daughters who are the same age as Ryan's daughters really like Ken. The SNL monologue with Ryan and Emily uses Taylor Swift. th-cam.com/video/TVrULZ8SP3g/w-d-xo.html

Here’s some answers to your questions and others fun facts .
1.The post-it-notes were written by some of the crew.
    2. Crime stoppers is a real thing here in Australia. It’s a hotline to help authorities solve crimes.
    3. There was a number of Australians in the cast - the person who was 2nd in charge on the movie set, the lead actress (Rider’s girlfriend), the sound engineer, the guy who Colt meets at the Mexican restaurant and wants Colt to park his rental car.
    4. No Ryan didn’t say that in the Notebook.
    5. 87North was the production company who did Bullet Train. It even includes the director’s wife. She produces a lot of their movies.
    6. The director was a stunt double himself for actors like Brad Pitt.
    7. The crew for the Fall Guy are in some of the background shots.
    8. 4 stunt actors did play Colt along with Ryan. The guy who played Henry is one of Ryan’s stunt doubles (all the fight scenes like the bar/club scene)
    9. The air bag that Colt falls into at the end of the film is very special. 87North found this air bag that was originally used by father of the stunt double who did the free fall in the scene. His dad was on set when he did the free fall and signed it next to his father’s name afterwards.
    10. The stunt designer (first time ever the title has been used on a film) for this film (The Fall Guy Not Metalstorm) can be seen in the opening sequence talking with Colt about how Gail and Tom are the monitors.
    11. Majority of the stunts in the film are practically done. Including the bin being dragged throughout Sydney while Colt fights Tom’s security team.

The first shot is one take or a oner and Gosling does do the fall. He also does the part where he being dragged across the bridge. A funny promotional video with Ryan Gosling and 3 of his stunt doubles doing carpool Karaoke. The first guy Logan Holiday does the cannon roll in the movie. Ben is the one who gets hit by cars and does the fire stuff, Troy is the guy who drops out of the helicopter. th-cam.com/video/4lQdI7UU4V4/w-d-xo.html
