Hope everyone had a great 2024 and cheers to 2025! Merry Christmas and happy holidays, thank you all for being such a cool community, stay tuned for more videos soon!
Honestly, I don’t really care what kind of series or challenges and conditions you have in your series. I’ll still watch regardless. Your content has helped me through my cancer treatment and has also inspired me to do things in 7DTD I hadn’t thought of so hats off to you for that. The one thing I’m not a huge fan of are the livestreams since they’re usually a slog fest and your videos are so much better and highly edited for quality. Please continue to do that instead. We all love you and your content. Never stop!
I've put the livestreams on temporary hiatus. It drives me nuts that my internet can't keep up sometimes which causes really poor quality and even cuts the stream out at times. Hope your treatment goes well!
Merry Christmas Tem. You have been my most important series creator, nothing netflix and amazon does can compare. I really appreciate your effort and I wish u all the best for the years to come!
a nice ending to the series, that hordenight really was something else. and yeah i agree you might not have seen all the classes yet but progressionwise you done it, its these kinda of series i love to suggest to my friends to use as a guide if they want to learn about rebirth. cheers tem and happy holidays.
I had a good 2024 tbh. Had some ups and downs but I did lose about 20 lbs so I'm happy! Had a good Christmas and just chilled with our dog, Fergus (pit and boxer mix for anyone wondering) and did some cleaning, and everyone else had stuff to do as well. Had a blast watching the Rebirth series and can't wait for more in the future!! An idea for horde night stuff? Maybe use mining/harvesting tools to fight the horde or use a blender base? I think it'd be interesting using like a pickaxe to kill off the horde. Hope you're all having a good day and if not, I hope it gets better! Stay awesome, Tem!!
Thank you, Tem, for all the entertainment you bring! I bring the same mindset to these series as I do my D&D characters: When one ends, it just means a jump start of creativity for something new. As for idea or wrinkles for the new run, how about revisiting my favorite base design from A16: A bunker base. Four sides, four lanes, and x-ray engineer zombies to awkwardly focus fire on weakpoints. Moat optional, but encouraged. Will it work well? Hell no, they broke it in A17 with the Hive Mind update. But you did say a challenge base!
❤ Thank you for everything you do Tem. It's been a tough road trip but I managed it. Please keep doing what your heart says. I personally ain't going anywhere ❤❤. I say tree house base? Maybe somewhere on a island in the desert biome? Or an all like major apocalypse type, barely livable
Awesome series, kept me waiting for each episode. Great production, great narration... simply the best 7d2d channel by a long distance. Please keep 'em coming.
Thanks for this series and a Merry Christmas! I would like to see a series with thousands of zombies but weak, i think it's a bit stupid to make them this strong. A series where you use explosives to clear them in their thousands!
Great series once again the ending was kinda sad being the base being blown up. Enjoy your holidays and looking forward to next year to join in again on the best 7day2die guy. As for challenge i would like to see you play on max diffculty, like running zombies during the day feral sense and so on. Me and a friend did this way back like 3 years ago in 7days and boy was it a terror to see a zombie in the first days xD
Loved the series. Loved the story telling. Looking out for next series. Next series idea: havent seen you play with bazookas. Try that out? Maybe tunnel like kind of base to concentrate explosion and explosives?
GNS, I know you want ideas on what to do next but honestly, anything you do will get me to watch your channel. Your explanations on the mod your using, how you go about using it and dealing with everything is very informative and entertaining. Don't change please.
Once again, great series with a great mod! I always look forward to your videos. Watch them during my breaks at work. Would like to see you go through some of different types of horde bases. We always see horde bases tested in creative mode, but rarely in an actual playthrough. Zombie dropper, crawler, bedrock, ladder, on the lake. I think it would keep things interesting and keep people coming back to see something new next episode. It would also give people different ideas. Maybe also throw in some of ur older base designs and try to see if any of ur older tactics still work.
In a long running MP server in A19, we built what we called the playground. There were 4 distinct zones - one was basically a parkour course where you could run the course and force the zombies to run it with you to fight, but lots of random avenues to attack; another zone was random posts to interfere with running straight at you; a third was the maze, where I built a literal maze for my fellow players to get in, I believe the fourth was the cowards respite, which was a fairly traditional loop for when you didn't want the insanity. So combine some of that into a melee/pistols only, maybe lower the difficulty so you can run and slash just fine. If the CPU can handle it, maybe lower the difficulty and add a specific mod to dramatically increase the spawn count of zombies - something like Rebirth's Outbreak numbers - wandering hordes every 2-3 hours and huge waves. Something that feels like an outbreak.
This was a great series, and I thoroughly enjoyed this mod. I agree with you that this is the best mod for 7DTD. You did an exceptional job at showcasing many things that this mod had to offer. In the next playthrough of vanilla 7DTD, I have a challenge for you; can you create a horde base that is built from your logo, like GNS stronghold or something? I am curious to see how that would look. Anyway great work 😎
Loved the series Tem! I hope you keep the post-video prologues like you did with this going forward... No other creators do videos like that that I've seen and it really added to your style. As far as challenges... what about a "no horde base" challenge? Back in A17/A18, that was my favorite way to play... just down on the ground fighting amongst the zombies.
Tem, I'm fairly new, I've watched on and off for maybe a year, and this series got me hooked on your play style and videos. I needed something to spark my interest again and you brought it, so thanks so much! Hope you have a wonderful holiday season, and just know I dont comment very often at all, but I'm here watching😊
Great series! I started playing Rebirth after watching the first couple episodes. I downloaded the map you are using and have really enjoyed learning how the mod works through watching and playing. Excellent production and storytelling! Looking forward to your next series 😊
Great series and definitely can't wait for more! Something I would love to see is an adaption of The Road. Having to traverse long distance and set up temporary/improvised bases for horde nights would be pretty sweet. Maybe even with some level of overarching story for why you are traveling Either way, I will definitely be tuning in for the next series no matter what :D
had fun watching that one tem, overhauls are usually too awkward in the sense they add stuff that either breaks the expected level of immersion of 7 days, or sacrifices fun for hyper realism or extreme levels of complexity. i find these problems are greatly offset by the way you RP your playthroughs which speaks volumes about you as a creator. as for something i would like to see in future, as a sort of challenge run, Jawoodle recently concluded a series using batons only. it was an immensely fun experience and i thought it would be interesting to see how you would tackle that challenge given the different ways you and josh approach the game. thanks a ton for the entertaining content my dude, cant wait to see the next one!
Thank you for another amazing series. As for challenge, dunno if that would make into interesting series, but maybe something like this: - move horde base up a biome every 1 or 2 weeks. As far as I remember your series are usually 6 to 8 ingame weeks. So for example day 7 forest, day 14 burnt forest, day 21 desert, day 28+35 snow and day 42+49 wasteland; - every new horde base must be smaller than previous one ending with 2x2 or 1x2 base in wasteland. Starting with for example 10x10 or 15x15 in forest; - for bonus points each base must be of different type. For example forest is begginer's base - no special routing for zombies, ground level or 4-5 blockes above, just walls with some holes to attack through. Burtn forest proper base with routing, 11 block tall, and so on. Desert bedrock base. Snow no combat base. Wasteland air base. Or something along those lines - type of base would have to be first cross checked with available base size for that biome.
First off Merry Christmas Tem . Great series loved every episode haven't missed one episode for going on 2 years straight now. Idea for the challenge series. Each horde night only allowed one weapon type each and then it's locked for good. Example you start off with clubs day one day 7 horde you use clubs and after that they are locked from the series forever. So now u have to pick a new weapon say magnum now you only use magnum from day 8-14 after horde night magnum is locked and so on. As for horde base type idk I'ma have to give that some thought. Can't wait till the next episode drops!! I'll be waiting 🤘🏻😁
Thanks for your always wonderful content. Horde night. Bow and Arrow only. Fire only, use firemod. Pistol only. Bases. Only use pole blocks. Bamuboo base (plates and sticks only, but vertical). A bedrock dropper. Underwater bases sounds fun. How about an water only run... world is submerged. or a build on Lake only run. A sheet base, sheets only... each week a drop comes with ressources. Extra ideas: The Burning sun Mod Jawoodle tried, but you can only stay underground, or in houses, and traders, and you get an auger, and 7000k fuel, cars allowed if they cover you head and you dont get burned by the sun.
Ideas: Challenge Name: Jack of some Trades: 2 pts per level, but you can't spend any perk points in the weapon perks for each attribute. Spend points on weapon perks after all skils are at max level. Gives a good mix-up of weapons in loot, and avoids reliance on stamina boosts and over kill with weapon perks. Base Challenge: Crumble town: 300% block dame all the time; Only existing pois can be used for horde nights. Existing structures can be reinforced/upgraded or blocks destroyed, like stairs and ladders. No building paths. Horde night every three nights. For fun, turn on daily air drops, but turn off markers. So either run and get them, or they are surprises later during exploration. Thanks for sharing your play through.
Amazing series I just binged watched 19-22 today at the fire station. Was a very interesting mod and one I can't wait to try whenever it becomes available. Also the bandits didn't win you are just making a tactical retreat but will show up later... maybe with reinforcements. Would be a amazing stream idea if you can get some people like pre lady etc with so many classes I really feel like this mod and afterlife are made for co-op. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year. Will be anxiously waiting for the next series.
Hey, Tem. Enjoyed the HELL outta this series. I was subscriber 26 and been here every since. Keep up the awesome work. The only base form I can't remember seeing you do is a Demolition expert base or build. Imagine a series predicated around explosives.... That'd be awesome
Fantastic as always! I feel you on not needing to be a completionist for every overhaul mod. I maxed out Mad Man, Sous Chef, and Builder and would constantly find myself standing around after a mission doing a good bit of nothing. I was mostly just trying to see all the weapons lol. I do think that every end tier melee weapon has something special about them, so that's cool. Like, the knife will do the Thousand Cuts occasionally and sets things on fire (not via Thousand Cuts), the hammer lets you knockdown zombies by striking the ground, and the knuckles lets you do knockdown by giving them the ol one two (normal attack followed by a power attack). You've already showcased the sword setting things on fire too, so that was another nice touch to Rebirth. Great mod though, and once again great work on your content. I'll be there for the next one!
Great series and fully understand you putting a ribbon on this one. The ending with the base being blown up as you provided your recap was a nice touch. My suggestion for your next series is to go full nomad. Create a large vehicle that you place everything in (18 wheeler, RV or something large) and you travel from city to city for each horde night. You’re a gun for hire that is called into help each city on horde night. You roll into the city on day 1, 8, 15 etc. and establish yourself there before defending them that horde night.
Hey Tem, I'm been watching your content on and off. Great content, specially your DF-NYC Series. Challenge- A Nomad Series-RNG Only-Meaning. Brawler-Fist/Bow Only, No station crafting, other than Campfire, No Buying From Traders, VendMacines-Are allowed, Selling is allowed, Follow the trader quests For what RNG is willing to throw your way! From what I've seen on your content, I feel this will be a bit!! Happy Holidays to all as well!
Great series! I'd love to see either a nomad style dif horde base every horde night, or a horde base without the traditional fighting position. So slowing zombies down with some kind of complex maze or structure (not afk base) requiring a lot of movement or problem solving skills on your part. Maybe do the thing where you just grant yourself materials for horde night only
Amazing series! i think the TAM series is always the best! I think you should add more funny effects to your videos like when you slow down your speech or show us a crazy thing thats going to happen in the video! I have always gotten inspiration on what to do or what not to do while playing 7 days and i think you should do a floating base!! But something unique like you have always been doing! as far as challenges, the mod after math to me was the biggest challenge i dont think you can go past that mod! But hey i will continue to support the chanel an always look forward till the next one!
***slow clap initiated*** great job Tem! how about a bedrock base series call it moleman or something like that. the surface is contaminated...to survive you stay indoors or underground while avoiding the radiation. whatever you do i am sure it will be a banger! hope you and the family had a great christmas. Much love brother
Great series Tem, as always. My idea for a base comes from your real life. How about trying to build a base that could have been something you were stationed at. Use comparable building materials; sandbags = cobble, concrete walls, loads of barbed wire to funnel zombies and minefield kill zones as well as lots of fighting positions that you can quickly fall back to as the night progresses making use of ladders, pill boxes, etc. within the 7 DAYS framework. Just an idea, I'm sure you'll come up with something cool. Happy New Year 'ol chap.
I think you always manage to cut a series off at the right time, to be honest. Just when it begins to feel like everything has been seen and done, you bring it to an end. You've got a good eye for the flow of your play-throughs. As for suggestions, you mentioned the one I'd like to see most of all - an underwater base Thanks for another year of stellar content, Tem. Here's to 2025 and the best yet 🍻
Love the series hate to hear people stopped watching. Rebirth has so much... every episode had a new challenge for you to face. I would mind a series showcasing the different ways to survive. Underground, the using pois/above ground seems to be the only method most do now. Leaving 30% of the underground world undeveloped.
Merry Christmas Tem! Another great series in the books, keep up the excellent work. I always liked the idea of starting with a truck, but with it being your only external storage option. Kind of a nomad in the apocalypse lifestyle. Foraging in an area before the horde comes and chases you out to the next biome until your last stand in the wasteland. Don't know if it would be fun or just frustrating in practice though. Looking forward to your next project though!
This was a ton of fun to watch. I enjoyed watching you figure out bit by bit how everything worked going from desperate struggle to finally getting it more or less under control. As for suggestions. 1) Explosion pit base floating over top if possible. Basically design the base to have huge packed swarms of zombies you can toss pipe bombs and grenades into. Those are fun because you get to see how many you can kill with one big boom. 2) The Mike Tyson run. I havent seen a true fist series tried since the new version dropped. No guns allowed, REAL men fist their enemies to death! :p 3) This is an idea for after the next run. A return to Rebirth but you run The Purge mod. If you havent seen it, its basically, no horde night, and no wandering zombies normally. Your goal is to go biome by biome clearing each poi until you have purged at least, I think its 70% of all pois, and yes even those single snake backpack hill type squares count. The struggle comes from tons of random wandering hordes, the deaths whisper groups and eventual seeker swarms. I figure this would give you the chance to try the other classes as well. Id say no hunter, techno, witchdoctor, or butcher classes, pick the other ones and have fun seeing how they work. No hunter mainly because it seems like every other youtuber doing rebirth or purge is picking it. :p I think with your recent experience with the rebirth mod you will have a much faster startup and setup time letting you focus on a strategic cleansing of the map.
Thank you for your series! As for future I suggest you to use some smaller scale mods that expand in game mechanics. I would suggest Izayo gun pack that is done with more attention to guns, than TFP vanilla arsenal. In addition try defense of base mods, such as craftable concertina wire and more turret options to mount and more barriers options. To summarize my suggestion try to add more of a functionality to original game, while not overhauling it drastically. Also some decor options or craftable objectives that are not available for players, like catwelks of trader would be nice. And at last try some smaller scale vehicle mod for transport variety. P.S. Have a nice holidays and New Year!
That's the plan, the next playthrough will have my standard vanilla+ mod list similar to what I ran previously in series like Borderline and Horde Every Night
What a fantastic ending to a wonderful series. I eagerly await the supercut to put on in the background. I would love to see a bedrock base playthrough! perhaps once JaWoodle finishes his nomad series, you could do something similar? Regardless of the choice you make, I'm waiting with anticipation and looking forward to your next work of art.
Thanks for the series! As for suggestion, Genosis has a bunch of sniper bases for horde nights, if you want to go with snipers, maybe try one of them out. 😊
Loved the series and sad to see it go but I'm excited about the new one. It'll be neat to see how the random bases come together. I particularly like Eko and his sort of 'teach by doing' method of horde base development and I'm looking forward to finding alternative base builds that I can implement myself.
I really like your work, your style. Lately, I've been looking back at the older ones, when I didn't know you yet. Honestly, rebirth was a bit much for me. For the next series, I would be happy with a good old-fashioned 7dtd. A Fortitude build with Knuckles would be nice. Also, it could be horde every 3 days, whenever the airdrop arrives. It would also be fun if the series lasted until all the challenges were completed. This could have a good background story, for example you made a bet with someone about who will complete it first.
You have some great content. My suggestion for a challenge is realism base. My brother suggested it to us during our play through. No artificial block making, no floating blocks. Barricade a house or a POI with only sandbags or furniture, stuff a real survivor can make. Dig some holes, make some spikes, and defend your home. No unrealistic super tall bases or super deep bases. Just an idea.
Just an idea for a new series: You were a u lumberjack before the apocalypse 🪵. And you lived alone in a cabin deep in the woods 🌲. Now it’s winter and you have to survive this apocalypse ❄️, (you could ad a story where in which you still need to do one thing in your life on this earth). Your old cabin is where you live and where your hordebase will be 🏡. The meele weapon you could use is the axe and you can try to go for the lumberjack outfit 🪓. I hope you like it. I really enjoy your content, keep up the amazing work😊
As long as it's 7days I will enjoy what ever series or challenges you do I will watch to the last second of every episode and that's a promise to you GNS
Great series! Always really enjoy your videos. Horde base idea: Your fighting position has to be built at the surface level. When designing the base you can only dig down or to the sides by 7 blocks from the sides of the base that is a 7x7.
Great series, as usual. Like some of the other said, I'll watch your next series, regardless. I'm a big fan of elaborate bases/horde bases that allow you to both fight and can afk during horde nites. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next!
Thanks for another great series, I hope in the future you would consider rebirth: Purge that is a mod made for you in a way. I must say of all the people creating YT content, your series I generally watch on time and until the end. I like that you do several in game days at a time, I generally stop watching content were each content is one day. I love that you're not stuck on perma-death and adapt to each mod and series as needed and are not so strict, if something is not working adjustments are made. I totally understand your thoughts on the game becoming a chore and rinse and repeat. Once of the reason I like you and Khaine is because you to the grinding on camera, I love base building, recourse striping from POIs, mining and doing what needs to be done to play the game. Just focusing on the questing and fighting does get old fast. I have quickly come to like the end of episode chats; I think you missed once, and I had to go back to make sure I did not miss it. Overall if there were content awards (who knows if there are?) I would nominate you. Interesting Challenges: 1) During horde having to complete a trader mission and be back by end of horde. 1a) Or retrieve an item placed in a POI before horde and you have to get it and get back to base before horde is over. 2) By episode 22, you have upgraded your base to highest tier material. 3) Each horde has only one kind of zombie, that is stronger than your character and it changes each horde, extra points if it is random and you don't know which kind until they show up. 4) Have random horde nights, with you getting notification at night instead of the middle day alert. 5) No physical base, the map is your base. You set up traps, pits whatever and run around the map with the horde chasing behind you. Using these traps or prearranged points to thin the horde until morning, Kind of base: pick a level 1 POI (in the snow or dessert) and upgrade it to last the whole series, if your adventurous use the Wasteland as the location.
This was a great series but it will be a relief to see you do something a little simpler in 7DtD. I like to be inspired but I'm far too bad a player to copy this stuff 😂 Thank you, Tem, for the time and skill you put into your videos, bloody brilliant.
got a bit delayed with finishing the series but good stuff man, I don't think I have ever lost interest in anything you've put out and am looking forward to seeing what 2025 brings. Happy New Year dude
A fun horde night could be making it hardest difficulty (couple attacks kill you), and trying to explore and use already made poi's as your base, with little reinforcement (some spikes, repairing doors etc). And rotating your base/biome every horde night (a lot of variety, so maybe 1 or 2 horde nights in forest, 1 or 2 in desert etc working towards final 1 in wasteland). Having the different poi's every horde night + the different biomes would be really fun to watch, + exploring to find the best poi's could be an important strat
I for one absolutely love your gameplays. You have a nice voice, and I like your rhythm of gameplay. As for suggesting about how you should play, I trust your judgement and I know I will enjoy watching you play. All I ask is that you build a base and not use POI as base. I apologize for not being able to support you financially, if I had the money, I would have definitely. All I can do is leave a comment when I can, hit the like, share your videos with friends, and suggest your channel. I wish you the best and happy holidays to you and your family.
You should do a series where you can't build a horde base, you have to progressively quick patch PoI's and fight in the PoI's, but you can't use the same PoI twice! And maybe bump up the horde night occurrences, not every day, but maybe every 3 days! That's my suggestion at least. Love the content! Keep it up!
You can do some challenge including the nomad mod. I have seen it on jawoodle's channel, it gives you an extra perk in the technogeek tree from which you can craft a camping van. It takes a lot of levelling to get to the nomad vehicle but you can get it via the cheat menu and use it as a travelling base, you have to change your fighting position every horde night, you can either build a base to fight the horde (a temporary one) or use the van as the horde base itself. With the nomad you have to keep moving, you can also attach the crafting stations to the van so it can be used as a remote base.
I think seeing a bedrock playthrough in 1.2 would be cool. I really enjoyed your last bedrock base series and was actually what got me watching your content. Your my favourite youtuber and i have really enjoyed all your content. Hoping to also see another icarus series at some point. Your first icarus series got me into playing it.
Love how that ended. Sadly, it's over. But I can't wait to see the next series. Merry Christmas and a great new year. Have you thought of trying the Nomad Challenge
I would love to see you try Rebirth with the Berserker class. It would be interesting to see how you handle the different playstyle. As for a challenge I'll suggest a run and gun type of playstyle for horde night. This is where you pick one of the small towns and spend horde night running around while fighting the horde. You can set up traps to drag them thru, use molotovs or any other kind of explosives, or anything like that. This was one of my favorite ways to do horde nights for regular 7 Days. Just running thru houses, jumping out windows, using parkour to jump on roofs to give myself a small breather to heal or reload. It was a lot of fun.
I agree with you on the NPC weapon choice. If i remember correctly there is already an option for weapon selection but they never have a 2nd weapon.....hell I have even tried putting a 2nd weapin in their inventories!
I can't remember when, but I recall playing a mod once that allowed me to put weapons in their inventory.. Silencers too! War of the Walkers maybe? I dunno
Fire icarus back up. I'm digging that game hard right now but can't play as much as I can just watch (I have a baby that needs attention) and you do such a good job on all your videos. Haven't found anyone better.
Thank you for the great series, was fun to watch. My only dislike is so many of you feel obliged to destroy the base at the end rather than just abandon it...just a preference so I respect your need to drop it. Next series, randomize some like 2 Armor sets, 2 random melee, 2 random ranged weapon. and then run with the 2 theme. But I a so sure you will come up with something way better and I can't wait to see what it is.
totally get what you are saying about circumstances driving decisions, durations etc. coming to me as kind of a sad statistic though, that the majority doesn't want to be told a longer story, or is curious to know how a longer one may end. or see how a longer series begins to shape your actions in game..but, i guess i'm in the 20%. thanks for another highly entertaining 7dtd series. Edited to say: I like Genosis' base in a mountain approach (in District Zero) and would like to see that taken further making use of tunnnels, pits, traps, mines (esp if there's a more traps mod out there), maybe wood/iron door only? weps maybe bows, esp if there's a bow expander pack with more styles and the magazine mod for bows a la DF, coupled with explosives, also with a mod that expands available explosive solutions (past IZY if possible). Melee spear and no traders but also with wandering/screamer/outbreak level random mobs.
Suggestion: For the horde base, I've had an idea in my head for a while for a pure parkour obstacle base through a whole town. As in, a base that both the zombies and the player have to travel through, with the player just a step ahead of the zombies through the night, maybe setting it up as a loop, with alternate paths depending on the wave of zombie types. Setting off traps, taking opportunities to bunch the zombies up for explosives or a line up for some gunfire or turrets. Think roller coaster theme park, with Zombie Killing as the theme ala the end of the movie Zombieland. I think something like this really only would work in a vanilla set world, with maybe some of the custom buildings from the PEP mod sprinkled in for variety. Its honestly basically an extension of what a lot of players do the first horde night or two, to save on building a standalone base, but carried to the endgame version.
I would love to see a restoration project, restoring buildings or a small pine forest town to its former glory. You could also make a pit-type (think old surface /strip mine) as a horde base could be fun to find a way to funnel the zeds.
I've challenged myself in vanilla 7 Days by playing without placing or repairing a single block (crafting stations and farm stuff are the only exceptions). Finding locations where you can make due with a horde base by only destroying blocks is a fun challenge. I do play it at a lower difficulty than normal, but do horde every night.
Another Great series Tem. For a base idea make a trench like system with a mix of firearms(your choice but only can carry 2 firearms) with contact grenades and 1 melee bladed weapon.
There is Tier 6 gear/weapons.... they are not craftable but can be found in chest, quest rewards.... in my play through so far I have found a few tools and a M60 as tier 6 loot... it seems rare
I would love to see you in the exiled lands one day. (Conan Exiles) But that is all up to you of course. Most important thing is that you have fun with the stuff you do.
I had plans to do conan at one point. It's still on the table. I have a few side projects that are eating up my time currently but I might try that next year :)
Genuinely saddened this is the end. Though I understand the decline and it's a credit to you really. I would think most are motivated to begin their own adventures with the mod. I have loved this insane series and look forward to trying it, once I finish Out back play through and beat the flying spiders 😂.
This challenge is partly inspired by Glock's current Endgane series, where he's using a different melee weapon each biome. Biome challenge: each biome you can put points into only a single stat line - strength, perception, etc. You do not have to spend points, but once you move to the new biome they can only go in the new stat line. You get 1 week per biome. You only take with you what you can carry in a single trip (vehicle storage is fine). Your stat is determined by your biome that week. It doesn't change when you move between them. Of course you have to fight the horde every week as well.
Okay, here's a challenge that may interest you. You can train everything but intellect, think about it, no workbench or anything you really need to play solo. So no way to make ammo or armor either. So you would have to scrap or sell those forge ahead books because you cannot use anything in the tree.
Hope everyone had a great 2024 and cheers to 2025! Merry Christmas and happy holidays, thank you all for being such a cool community, stay tuned for more videos soon!
Hope you and yours are having a wonderful Christmas and Holiday Season. Wishing you and your household all the best for 2025!
Hope you had a great Christmas and wishing you a very Happy New Year!!
Hope you and the lady and doggo all had a wonderful holiday!
merry christmas and new year to you and i look forward to new episodes
How can I play with mods?
Happy holidays to you as well ceejay!
1 hour of Rebirth? Appreciate that king and I hope you have a fantastic Christmas and New Years holiday. Here's to looking forward to an awesome 2025.
Thanks for the support! You too, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
1 hour finale? Hell yeah! Great series Tem! Shoutout to Ramsay for his phenomenal work on Rebirth!
Excellent series. Merry Christmas.
Parkour course is an awesome idea!
May not always comment but always watch every series and video to the last second. Always enjoy the series Tem and thanks for another great one!
@@JaRyCu to Segway that comment, rebirth would be a good option for that challenge with the berserker getting rage on bloodmoons.
Maybe even with some level of overarching story for why you are traveling
Either way, I will definitely be tuning in for the next series no matter what :D
had fun watching that one tem, overhauls are usually too awkward in the sense they add stuff that either breaks the expected level of immersion of 7 days, or sacrifices fun for hyper realism or extreme levels of complexity. i find these problems are greatly offset by the way you RP your playthroughs which speaks volumes about you as a creator.
as for something i would like to see in future, as a sort of challenge run, Jawoodle recently concluded a series using batons only. it was an immensely fun experience and i thought it would be interesting to see how you would tackle that challenge given the different ways you and josh approach the game. thanks a ton for the entertaining content my dude, cant wait to see the next one!
Thank you for another amazing series.
As for challenge, dunno if that would make into interesting series, but maybe something like this:
- move horde base up a biome every 1 or 2 weeks. As far as I remember your series are usually 6 to 8 ingame weeks. So for example day 7 forest, day 14 burnt forest, day 21 desert, day 28+35 snow and day 42+49 wasteland;
- every new horde base must be smaller than previous one ending with 2x2 or 1x2 base in wasteland. Starting with for example 10x10 or 15x15 in forest;
- for bonus points each base must be of different type.
Extra ideas:
The Burning sun Mod Jawoodle tried, but you can only stay underground, or in houses, and traders, and you get an auger, and 7000k fuel, cars allowed if they cover you head and you dont get burned by the sun.
Ideas:
Challenge Name: Jack of some Trades: 2 pts per level, but you can't spend any perk points in the weapon perks for each attribute.
Merry Christmas, Temreki! That battle outside of Hugh's was bat poo insane!
Happy Holidays to all as well!
that was wild!! wasn't sure it was going to stand!! good job
I even cranked the difficulty up to Insane and increased the block damage! I wanted it to collapse 🤣
OMG Rebirth was epic. I totally loved watching this series. Great job Tem
Great series Tem. Enjoyed it immensely. Hope you had a great Christmas, looking forward to all the brilliant content to come in the new year. Bless.
Merry Christmas Tem! Thanks for all the hard work you do, we all thoroughly enjoy it. Good luck on whatever comes next
As for suggestions, you mentioned the one I'd like to see most of all - an underwater base
Thanks for another year of stellar content, Tem.
3) This is an idea for after the next run.
Honestly, a blast of a series. One of the finest mods I've seen.
Lose interest? Hell no. I really enjoy your content and appreciate the amount of work done behind the scenes 🤩
That attempt at demolishing the base using grenades at explosive barrels is funny 🤣 Congratulations on finishing another series!
Loved the series, hope you do revenhearst sometime! happy holidays!
Interesting Challenges:
1) During horde having to complete a trader mission and be back by end of horde.
Using these traps or prearranged points to thin the horde until morning,
Kind of base: pick a level 1 POI (in the snow or dessert) and upgrade it to last the whole series, if your adventurous use the Wasteland as the location.
Thanks for another great modded series. Would love to see a vanilla series over-water base on one of the new broken highway bridges.
Great end to a great series! Excited for whatever you decide to do next.
a fun series to watch. thanks for doing it and have some relaxing days
I dunno
@@GunsNerdsandSteel I just looked back through your series and found that it was the Wastland mod that has this feature.
Fire icarus back up. I'm digging that game hard right now but can't play as much as I can just watch (I have a baby that needs attention) and you do such a good job on all your videos. Haven't found anyone better.
amazing 1h of content, love ur vids
@10:48 I'm back baby
Great series mate and thank you for all the fun in 24 . See you next year 😁
great lesson with regards to what to expect on advanced horde nights
was Jawoodle your painter :) love the color but just have a feeling Jawoodle is moonlighting
I saved the base, it lives in a world with all my other horde bases
@@GunsNerdsandSteel Not sure why that matters to me...but it does. You Rock star. Thanks
totally get what you are saying about circumstances driving decisions, durations etc. coming to me as kind of a sad statistic though, that the majority doesn't want to be told a longer story, or is curious to know how a longer one may end. or see how a longer series begins to shape your actions in game..but, i guess i'm in the 20%. thanks for another highly entertaining 7dtd series. Edited to say:
I like Genosis' base in a mountain approach (in District Zero) and would like to see that taken further making use of tunnnels, pits, traps, mines (esp if there's a more traps mod out there), maybe wood/iron door only? weps maybe bows, esp if there's a bow expander pack with more styles and the magazine mod for bows a la DF, coupled with explosives, also with a mod that expands available explosive solutions (past IZY if possible).
Another great series, always sad to see them end. What about the floor is lava type playthrough in a large city? Roof tops with bridges to get around.
Noo not the enddd 😮 you blowing up the base and it crumbling down was so devastating😢 lol
Another fantastic series, thanks Tem!
Would love to see a greatest fails compilation of the fights that went terribly wrong
Awesome serious Tem. Next series idea. Wasteland mod.
Yo please keep this series going theres so much to do it seems like!!
Class series again. keep up the excellentness.
Fantastic series! Thank you!!
3:00 Fancified!
Floating base!.... One weapon only! (Your choice)
