The Action 3 / 4 footage is good. You might get higher quality than 1080p by filming and uploading in 4K. Makes big files and is more difficult to edit but comes out clearer on TH-cam
Hi Richard and Carol, I'm quite disappointed how it's came out on TH-cam, there's one bit where I'm going through some trees and it's more like 360p, recorded in HEVC which is supposed to be better, Memory card is a SanDisk Extreme class 3 so that should be good, not sure if it's the editing software but I produced it for a second time in 4k and that seemed a bit better so will try recording in 4k next time and also turn the bitrate up when producing the video. Will be recording at Motorcycle Live on Monday. I'll get there with it. I've only just come off the old JVC VHS recorder🤣
@2wheelbikers311 Hopefully we'll see you there tomorrow. We will be recording in 4K 60fps. Only thing to be aware if you do film inside with it, the camera can do an overheat shutdown as not enough air is moving past it. I guess you will be using your other little camera inside??
@Banditmanuk Yes well be filming with the Pocket 2 but might take the the Action 4 as well and see what happens. I do usually film in 4k 60 on days out with that. Hope to see you too 😊
You should try switching to D-Log instead of Normal for Colour mode cause with just 1 filter in a software like Davinci Resolve (which is free) you can get 10 times better quality and also much nicer colours.
All my editing is done on android so Davinci Resolve isn't available. Still getting my head around everything but will get around to things like colour grading etc later. It was getting pretty dark when I recorded this also. Thanks for the advice I will look into it. 👍🙂
