I mean this in the best way possible, but I fall asleep almost every time I watch your vlogs while I’m lying down. It’s just so relaxing. Of course I always rewatch later so I don’t miss anything! 😄
Omg me too🙌 I'm back here for the 2nd time because I watched this right at 6pm my time, there was a low key relaxing rain storm outside and I zonked out just had myself a little nap-eroni and cheese I guess🤦♀️.
I just wanted to say how refreshing it is that you actually go to the grocery store. Seems like every other person has their groceries delivered, while I like to see what's on the shelves!
I got you on storing baby clothes! First, separate by size and season. Then, put the groups of clothes in the vacuum seal bags from Dollar Tree (they really work), use a full sticky post-it to label the bag with the size, and put them into a tub. Make sure to label the tube outside with the sizes and seasons too and you're all set! Hope this helps 💙
Hey, just wanted to let you know there are many studies now showing that antiperspirants with aluminum are not bad for you or linked to cancer or other disease. Just in case you'd like to not be sweaty! The "aluminum free" deodorants are more of a marketing ploy at this point because feeding into the "aluminum=bad" mindset makes them money. We consume way more aluminum in a day from veggies :) Always enjoy your videos!
So glad you and the girls are doing well (and Tyler lol)! I'm always obsessed with your backyard...it's so beautiful! Do you ever skate on the pond or canoe/kayak/paddle board on it?
For awhile, I purchased a bunch of under the bed rubbermaid style bins and generally loaded with hand me downs by size and season. For instance, a 4T spring/summer box and a 4T fall/winter box. For shoes, I just put them all in a big bin in a closet. While pants and shirts seemed to be reasonably on track size wise, the feet of my two boys grow at much different paces. When the little one got a loft bed, I lost all of that under bed storage and I purchased Elfa classic drawer solutions and used one drawer per size. What's nice about this approach is that when you unload the 4T box into the dresser, you then relabel that box and fill it up with the load of stuff that the bigger kid just grew out of. You're always rotating containers. I find that when I don't organize, it's too daunting to dig through massive bags or boxes of mixed sizes to discern if I have any 4T footie pajamas so I end up buying more and then getting annoyed when I the following summer that I had saved 7 pjs that simply didn't find at the right time/season/size. If you can't find it, you might as well not save it.
CLEAR BINS! They are a savior. I separate by size and season. For example, 4T Spring/Summer, 4T Fall/Winter. I hate the process of switching over clothes, but it is a system that has worked for me. Good luck!
For clothes, I “feel out” my bin and decide what sizes will be in the box. NB-24mo and put the largest sizes on the bottom with smallest sizes on top and then label the bin. This way as I open the bin, I can grab the smallest size available because it’s on top
Im glad to hear that you appreciated the delivery service! I’m an Ubereats delivery driver. I was called to party city and had to pick up two huge balloon bunches..I was a bit miffed 😅 they barely fit and I was super nervous driving to the location because I couldn’t see out the back. The traffic in my area is really aggressive and drivers aren’t nice to each other on the road. Plus they were being delivered to a hotel by the beach so I was worried about people releasing the balloons. I was tipped nicely when I got there so that made me feel better (who isn’t relieved when they know they can go put gas in the car that is their job??) but I could easily get a larger order from party city and have to decline once I get there. To anyone wanting to order from party city, just remember to tip well and be kind 🙏🏻 we signed up to deliver food and now are jumping through hoops with all kinds of weird and difficult orders starting to pop up.
Jess, if you need to cut your schedule back while you're adjusting to having Felicity in the mix, the people that support you are going to understand. While adjusting, you could have a schedule of a guaranteed 2vids/week with a possible bonus vid on a specific day instead of guaranteed 3vids/week with a possible missed vid. They are essentially the same, but it psychologically gives you a release of that pressure and the 3rd vid will be a bonus = an happy extra :)
Hi Jessica - storage organization tips for the baby clothes. Rubbermaid type bin. Inside use multiples of 'space bags' to divide by size and see easily what is inside. Also, you can read from the outside of the bag if you put an inventory list on top of the clothes inside the bag (I saw the infant packing list, I know you're that girl :) ). Bonus perk, if there is ever any bug or water problem, storing this way will ensure nothing is destroyed.
I’m obsessed with grocery stores and it was so fun going with with you shopping it’s somehow different than just a haul haha I’m just a grocery store freak though. Love your vlogs in general they’re so comforting and homey feeling!
Jess, there's freeze dried 100%-cheese powder that you can get from amazon or a grocery. It's the same stuff from a boxed mac and cheese and you prep it the same way. You just have to buy your own noodles. So instead of spending a LOT of money on the little cups, you can make it yourself in Gigi portion sizes. Amounts to equal 1 BOX: 1-ish c dried pasta, cooked 2T cheese powder 0.25c milk 2-4T butter. OFC make a smaller batch for Gigi, but it's a starting point.
I bag and label hand me downs with gender/size and store in plastic bins. I ship thrift and consignment stores for most of my kids clothes, and my rule of thumb for deciding what to keep for a younger child is if it's in good enough condition that I'd buy it secondhand right now, I save it, otherwise I throw it out. My kids wear out a lot too but the nicer dresses/shirts for church and such are usually still nice enough to be passed on. Edited to add: she's only a baby once, we're absolutely fine with two videos a week ☺️💓💓
If something is recalled in this country (Belgium/EU), you can take it right back to the store and get your money back. Pretty sure in the US that's normal too.
I noticed that when you took your vitamins you took a drink first, the tipped your head back and drop them in. I do the same thing! Everyone always teases me about taking them that way.
I do the same too, I find it harder if I take the tablets first and then a drink. Just makes sense to me anyway, but everyone comments on it like it’s strange.
Family first. Always. We will be here and grateful for each video you release. Love on that beautiful baby! As for lemon bars, I've made them both ways and they are both delicious.
I use vacuums seal bags and separate them by size. Before you vacuum we the bag put a piece of masking tape on the bag and weight the size. I also add wether it’s girl or boy because we have both.
I sort everything by size in clear storage containers. My daughter is only 17 months so it’s premature-newborn, 0-3, 3-6,6-9, etc. but it’s so nice to have it labeled by size. I’m currently 17 weeks pregnant with a baby boy and have been going through the clothing and pulling out all the gender neutral clothes for him. Thankfully most of her clothing from newborn to 9 months is gender neutral.
I had 4 girls and 1 boy, and my sister had 2 if each. My best system turned out to be this. I would have a big box (like the car seat box, bathtub box, just something big) that I kept in the bottom of the closet. When I came across something that was too small, I would just drop it in the box. I "Sharpied" on the side in big print the size and their age the first item I put in, and did the same thing with the last. Then I put it in storage and started another. This way I knew basically what season's clothes were in there and roughly what age they'd need to be to start that box. If I dropped something special (Christmas dress, matching Easter dress, etc.) or sentimental (take-home outfit, dedication, special "rubbie", etc.), I would write that on the outside. This system was so efficient for me!
I have a box for each stage of life. So when they're really little and you have baby clothes, i put several months clothes together, like newborn and 3-6 months, or 2-3t. When they get older I just do one size. I just have smaller boxes so when I put them away I only have one stage per box. If not, you'll have to re-sort them every time.
I keep an old amazon box or something next to the girls dresser and throw clothes in when they don't fit. I label what size range it is and what season then store it until the next one needs it. Works great.
Love your vlogs…my fave!!! Happy birthday to Tyler and beautiful GiGi💚🥰💚 And OMG, hearing Felicitys little sounds makes me want to have more babies…but that ship has sailed for me lol. Too old and my 3 boys are grown🥹
I separate the clothes and items into sizes and make sure they are labeled. I had one bag that was mixed (an "I will get to it later bag" full of some newborn, some 3 month, and some 6 month stuff, and 3 years later when we had our 2nd....well it wasn't fun - much prefer the ones that I did the work ahead of time lol). Then put them in a "kids clothes" bin
I LOVE anything lemon or key lime! I'm totally obsessed and when I heard you talk about lemon bars, well, guess what I'm making asap! Hope y'all had a great time grilling out. 💜😊
I love seeing how other Meijer stores are set up compared to ours! Hands down my favorite store for groceries. Especially when we need other things too! Hi from Wisconsin!
An easy way for your child to learn to ride a bike is to take off the training wheels and the petals (assuming her feet can reach the ground) and just let her push and glide. They learn to balance much faster than the training wheels.
You probably won’t see this at this point lol BUT; I have flatter totes that I put certain sizes in for my kid’s clothes and then I just put packing tape or duct tape on the top and write the size and then I stack the totes as needed. Also, we LOVE Bolthouse Farms dressings in our house. We always have ranch and I’ll use the Bolthouse farms for my salads and such. Hidden valley ranch is 120 calories for two tablespoons and Bolthouse is only 50! And the end of your video when you asked who you were preaching to, it was me and so many other mamas who have a hard time taking and type of time for yourself. It’s hard justifying going to brunch or getting your nails or hair done or whatever else when you do have laundry, and dishes, and cleaning and all that. But it is important to take care of yourself because it makes you better. A happy mama is a better mama.
My daughter is two, and what I’ve done her whole life is keep an empty diaper box on the floor of her closet so I can easily toss the clothes in as she outgrows them. Once she is fully out of a size, that size’s box gets taped up and shipped up to the attic to make room for the next box.
We eat camp potatoes too!! We just call them boy scout meals. Sometimes we’ll put a hamburger or other veggies or something in the foil too!! So yummy!!
The raw sugar deodorant is a great option, just putting it out there in case anyone is wondering about it, the one that we tried ( my daughter and I ) so far is the beach rose + aloe and it comes in a plastic free biodegradable packaging, hope it helps 🙂
Have you tried the LYS higher standard satin matte cream blush? I have a similar skin tone to you and think you might like the shade kindness. It’s very light weight and blends like a dream.
I use my diaper boxes and tape them up and write on the box or place a sticker with the size of clothes that are inside.♥️ my boys are 7 years apart so they lasted me a long time.
I did my boys hand me downs by size and type. Diaper boxes make great containers for this. Example 5/6 shirts & sweatshirts, then 5/6 bottoms, 5/6 jackets and shoes.
Yes, get a tote and keep it in the closet or wherever. When they grow out a size just put them in the tote and label it. If multiple sizes repack the tote with smaller sizes on the top for easy access.
Speaking of 🍋 bars lol my mom used to make a freezer lemon bar that was delicious and so good and refreshing when it was hot. More of like a custard but frozen with a cream cheeseish layer as well 😋
I like to store my winter clothes (is a good option for hand me down clothes to keep too) in a those bags that you can suck out the air tight. Saves more space and bugs won't get into them.
We organize hand me down clothes in large plastic totes and then label them by size. Like, my daughter is 16 months and we put her clothes away in bins labeled like newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months etc.
Jess, go to target and buy the storage tubs that are sealed and waterproof! They’re by “EZ” like “easy”. The best storage tubs ever! I’ve stored away some of my daughter’s clothes for my next child (in the case it’s a girl) for 3 years, and I recently went through them and they smell exactly like they did when I packed them up (Dreft). Keeps away dust, bugs, “storage smell”….pricey, but worth it!
Hey #JessicaBraun love seeing how much you're truly enjoying the best parts of being a mommy and you're really great at it. I always knew you was anyways. Much love to you all.....
I have 3 kids, and used clear bins to organize clothes with smaller sizes on top, then marked the outside with permanent marker, which can be removed with hairspray.
My husband is very regimented so he got our daughter on a schedule by 2 months old. I was shocked!!!! She’s now 2 and naturally (when dad is away traveling for work) I always screw up the schedule hahaha I can’t help it but It’s easier to just go with things than fight my toddler especially when I don’t have any backup
I use the vacuum seal bags ( just got some from target) and then put them in a tote. If the door is still open for another baby, I would sort by gender neutral, if you have any, and girl. Then by size.
i use vaccum bags to store hand me downs for my boys, i put a piece of tape on them marking the size so I can just pull out what I need for little brother currently
I keep a cardboard box in my son’s closet, and when I notice a piece of clothing has gotten too small, I toss it in the box. When the box is full, I grab a sharpie and mark it with size and season, and store it away! (As someone who is very much not naturally organized, I’m really proud of and happy with this method). 💖
I always placed like clothing together such as spring/summer and fall/winter in containers with two sizes if possible. No need to have a separate hand-me-down bin. It is also a good way to know what you have and what you need to purchase. A multi-seasonal bin is also great to have on hand for jeans and so forth during their school years.
Yesss here for the vlogs. Also i love that party city does that but pro tip if you have instacart you can have balloons delivered for much cheaper from the Dollar Tree. We do that now and save soo much money.
Could you please tell me what kind of shampoo and conditioner and shine stuff you use? Your hair looks so soft and shiny!! So glad you're back early, you're one of my "every time" videos.
On the meijer subject, I’ve been on an almond kick and the meijer brand honey glazed cinnamon almonds are some of the BEST flavored almonds out there. So yum
Not that you need our permission, but Jess please do what you need in terms of schedule! We will be here whenever you post. Your mental health comes first. Adding felicity into the mix is essentially adding a full time job on top of your work. It’s so hard! Please take care of you and that sweet baby and your family FIRST 💜 Also how is GiGi FOUR??
I mean this in the best way possible, but I fall asleep almost every time I watch your vlogs while I’m lying down. It’s just so relaxing. Of course I always rewatch later so I don’t miss anything! 😄
I feel ya! Jessica’s voice relaxes you like a best friend telling you a night night story! I love her!
I do the same thing. Ultimate relaxation 😌
Me too! I watch at night in bed. Often fall asleep but always catch up the next day
Omg me too🙌 I'm back here for the 2nd time because I watched this right at 6pm my time, there was a low key relaxing rain storm outside and I zonked out just had myself a little nap-eroni and cheese I guess🤦♀️.
I purposefully turn on one of Jessica’s video to fall asleep to. I know exactly what you mean!
You take as much time as you need…..your mental health is the #1 priority. We will all be here waiting whenever you upload….love the vlog!!!
I just wanted to say how refreshing it is that you actually go to the grocery store. Seems like every other person has their groceries delivered, while I like to see what's on the shelves!

This is what I did!
Yes this!
That’s what I do too! 😊
This is so smart. I liked so that she would see it.
When organizing hand me downs, I sort and store them by size and season. For example: Boy 3T Summer
Just curious, but out here in the UK clothes are sized by age like 'age 3' but what does the T stand for in '3T'
@@AmbreenK I've always assumed it stood for toddler. but now I'm interested in the answer because I might have just made that up!
@@lauralibrizzi9403 going to need a ruling here... Because I've never heard that! 😜
@@AmbreenK the same here in Aus! I’m wondering if it’s T for Toddler?
@@AmbreenK 3T is for toddler. It usually transitions at size 4/5 so you can find 4T or 5T in the toddler section but you can also find 4/5 in kids.
Hey, just wanted to let you know there are many studies now showing that antiperspirants with aluminum are not bad for you or linked to cancer or other disease. Hope Gigi had such a special day!!! Sending sweet thoughts to your sweet family💛💛 thank you for sharing a part of your lives with us!!
Happy belated birthday to Gigi and others in your family. Be well. We all need to give our mental/emotional health a time out. Take good care Jessica!

Your Meijer looks awesome. I've never been to a Meijer before and im so excited we are finally getting one in our town and I cannot wait.

Ina Garten has the best lemon bar recipe hands down. More lemon filling than most and so very good.
If I dropped something special (Christmas dress, matching Easter dress, etc.) or sentimental (take-home outfit, dedication, special "rubbie", etc.), I would write that on the outside.
This system was so efficient for me!
I LOVE Method products! We get a shower gel that's peony scented and I just adore it. It leaves my skin so soft and it smells like heaven 💕
Lemon bar tip! Use a box mix but replace the water with lemon juice ( bottled is fine) for a tart bright flavor! Easy Peasy

I like putting hand me downs in vacuum bags and then in the big storage bin. That way I can fit a whole lot more and it’s keep the air out of clothes
Cracking up that your bag of broccoli said broccoli wockly 😂😂😂
Hello Julie
I will always stop what I'm doing to watch a vlog or a regular video. Happy birthday Gigi I hope she had a great day and happy birthday Tyler
I’m so jealous your Meijer has a Starbucks! I live in Ohio and ours does not have that but Meijer is still my go to grocery store!
I use the vacuum seal bags ( just got some from target) and then put them in a tote. If the door is still open for another baby, I would sort by gender neutral, if you have any, and girl. Then by size.
I love when you upload a video (vlogs are my favorite ☺) Happy birthday to Gigi and Tyler!
I always enjoy a good grocery haul. Your 💅 look great 🙂
I have 2 girls so I usually bag my oldest outfits by size and season. It’s a lot easier to grab and organize when my little one grows into that size
Do you have a link for that fire pit grill plate?
Use the vacuum bags are awesome for storage
Homemade lemon bars are WAY better than the box! And super easy and honestly better made a day or two ahead
What makeup were you wearing Saturday? Looks so good!
Your hair looks so good!!!
Love your vlogs-thanks for sharing your life with us! I hope Gigi had a beautiful birthday! 💕
I feel you, my June and July are full of birthdays and anniversaries.
Watching you shop made me miss Meijer so much!! The town I lived in during grad school had one and I loved it!! …things adults say, lol.
Loved all the change in scenery in this vlog! And now I’m going to paint my nails pink too ☺️🌺
Random off the wall question. Do you like and recommend the vanity in your background? I’m looking for one.
Happy Birthday Tyler and belated birthday GiGi🪅🎈
i use vaccum bags to store hand me downs for my boys, i put a piece of tape on them marking the size so I can just pull out what I need for little brother currently
Yes, I bag up hand me downs by size and then store them that way.
Happy birthday to Gigi and Tyler!
Krusteaz Lemon bar mix is soooo good!!
Yesss here for the vlogs. Also i love that party city does that but pro tip if you have instacart you can have balloons delivered for much cheaper from the Dollar Tree. We do that now and save soo much money.
I have my favorite recipe for lemon bars and everyone loves them!!!
I recently took my winter clothes and put them in space bags..they're a life saver no clutter I load them up,get the air out I love it!!
Could you please tell me what kind of shampoo and conditioner and shine stuff you use? Your hair looks so soft and shiny!! So glad you're back early, you're one of my "every time" videos.
Happy Birthday GiGi & Tyler 🎉🎂
Its so wild when I see other states grocery stores selling beer and wine. In Maryland you can only buy alcohol in liquor stores.00
Love your vlogs! Also where is that black tumbler from in the beginning, so cute!
the Magnolia lemon bar recipe is really good!
Clicked as soon as it came up! Needed this today! 🎉 Thanks for sharing. Happy Birthday Gigi 💕
On the meijer subject, I’ve been on an almond kick and the meijer brand honey glazed cinnamon almonds are some of the BEST flavored almonds out there. So yum
I put all of my sons clothes in vacuum bags. I write on the bag what the size is and then put them in containers. I fit about 5 bags in one container!
