There are people who are saying a few post-teens have the best fly fishing channel on TH-cam. Agh! No need to compare, but if one were to attempt, there's not a comparison! Thank you for staying true to the ethic. To including extensive shots of nature, particularly some award-worthy shots of Kingfishers (not just yourselves catching fish). To keeping fish wet. And to being genuine ambassadors of the activity. Mine is a spoof TH-cam channel, but this is an honest comment to the people, Jensens, who have helped build in me 1. an ability to catch fish with competence. and most important, 2. a perspective on fishing that is (I hope) for the benefit of the rivers and their fish, and that embraces more than just the stoke that is fishing. The fish live in rivers and to catch fish we have to take care of the rivers. Thank you.
We appreciate all what you shared. We agree because that's our focus and so glad it continues to shine through 🥳 Comparisons are funny thing because we'll never ever win a pop-culture contest. There's definitely a seasons in life aspect and a why we fly fish component - we're not into beer and that lifestyle as you can't fish, film, catalog content, edit and share with your audience in mind at every step if you're always picking yourself up from another bender. Seasons in life and a perspective of helping or inspiring others is much different than stoking the internet - tho the editing over there is exceptional. Maybe in a decade or two the focus will shift to the how to and have at least a bit of experience and acumen behind it to match that editing quality. Thanks again 😊🍻

A perfect day...You're in a beautiful place, with someone you love, a super cool guide, no one else around and catching amazing trout. Hard to beat. I very much enjojed this style of video. It was like being in the boat with you. Great job.
Yes, we were really lucky to get the experience and we appreciate your feedback on the style of this video. We're always trying to perfect the style of taking our audience along with us for the experience, so we're happy that this shone through well in this video.
Very nice, I've fished clear water small streams and had to get on my knees too to reduce my silhouette, it certainly helps. The brownies are gorgeous, the blue button on the cheek of some is something I've never seen before. Great professionalism handling the trout, keeping them in the water while you talk is the way to do it and the camera work as the trout come up to the fly is exceptional!
This was a gorgeous place on the planet to enjoy fly fishing, certainly. :) That blue spot on those vibrant trout is amazing - gorgeous. :) Glad you enjoy the camera work as well as the trout handling - that's important stuff in this digital age. :)
Glad you enjoyed this one. It begged for nature to shine through and just 'be'. Absolutely loved this landscape and the isolation. To catch a few gorgeous brown trout in that location is simply 🥳♥️
Stunning scenery and amazing filming as usual guys.. Makes us feel like we are there with you! Some beautiful eats and some amazing fish. What an experience!
Great video as usual. The Paloma can be quite exciting and of course beautiful. The Blanco will be really nice, lots of different types of water on it. Enjoy your wonderful trip. Hopefully I'll be there in three weeks.
You're obviously familiar with a few waters in this area:) Some stunning spots to experience. Here's hoping your travels go well and who knows, we might just cross paths with you while you're here!

Enjoyed the fishing that you and Amelia shared, loved the scenery, andcthe majestic mountains. Absolutely beautiful! That's for sharing your fishing adventure with us!

100% as we thought too. Big, clear water with heaps of bushy green. Tho the keela bamboo is something incredible- 20' tall and impossibly strong and thick!
It was a wonderful side braid to walk and take in the various aspects of the forest that catch our eye and are so beautiful. Thanks for your appreciation and for watching:)

Beautiful fishery and scenery but I'm gonna be "that guy" in questioning the integrity of having trout fisheries that are possibly damaging the native ecology. As fisherman we're supposed to support the idea of conservation but here we turn around and continue to stock and support trout fisheries where they don't belong simply because we love the trout and nobody gives a rats ass about the native fish. That first fish had a serious scowl about him. The spot on his eye made him angry. And that blue spot, absolutely mesmerizing
Agreed. That metallic blue spot on both cheeks is so unique and beautiful. I’ve never seen it’s equal on a trout.
I thought so too. It was like a perfect tatoo he'd been given! Pretty cool stuff.

Hello what is the name of Your guide in Patagonia?
On this particular day it was Monte (pronounced Monty) with Magic Waters Lodge.
So you mention everything except the flies. What flies are you guys using? Or did I miss it?
Nothing special at all. If we don't mention them it's likely a woolly bugger or an Adams 🥳
BRB just checking on flights to Chile...
or wait until Dec 2022 and join our hosted trip :)
are those like Antarctic char or something?
Nope! Just brown trout with some very cool markings. 🙂
Is there a way to book trips with you?
We don't guide, but you sure can look up Magic Water Lodge and they'll take you to some great waters like this:)
💪💪💪
🙂
Hello, could you turn on the french subtitles please?
Sorry, but actually applying subtitles to videos is more of a process than you might think. In time we hope to, but as yet we haven't had the time.
What are those blue spots on their cheeks?
many brown trout have blue spots on their cheeks, these are simply pronounced due to the tannic water coming out of the beech forest.
"Does it have a shape though right now it looks a bit nebulous?"...I know, lets walk up there and spook it so we can find out...
Or catch it. Done. 🎯
🙌🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏👏👏👏🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
Thanks!
